    When I was a high school student, from the 1980s to the 90s, I was very grateful for the demonstration of the historical transition along with the types of scratches ♪ Even so, the youthful, quick and sharp scratches It's attractive ♪

    Back in the day I always assumed it came more from the hand on the record, now watching 20 Tex later it’s seems like so much more is the hand on the fader. Definitely wish I still had my turntables and could watch UA-cam videos to learn. UA-cam and videos altogether has made learning so much easier. Would love to see how much more djs have advanced or still stay stagnant

      Record control is just as important as fader control. If you have no record control it won't be funky. The fader is like a note splitter basically that you're drumming with.

      I Own technics sl1210 mk 2 since 95. Mk3d since 2007. Also had a pair of numark ttx1 and a pair of Mk7 . Honestly Mk7 and MK2 for scratching I can't tell the difference. For mixing I can but really only barely. It feels slightly different but nothing you won't get used to. I wouldn't even use that to make the choice on. I would choose MK2 MK3 or Mk5 just because of the build quality.they feel heavy and like tanks. Mk7 are much lighter without heavy rubber base and they have a plastic bottom cover. When I turn the music volume up I get feedback off the Mk7 a lot quicker.
      They don't feel like they are worth the money and I don't think they would last.
      My MK2 I have serviced every year and last year done a complete strip check and rebuild. Never had a problem with them.

    Do you have to use a specific recording for made for scratches, or can you just use anything to get that sound? I'd probably use my old charity shop collection, as they're already scratched beyond repair. Engelbert Humperdinck possibly. :D

      @@DJFAmenHeavy hey if your mixing electronic music it matters if you have a accurate pitch fader, so your telling me that pioneer & reloop turntables have a better pitch fader , the Internals of the technics are made in Japan The circuitboard chips ect . They are just put together outside Japan I do know they don’t add the rubber base anymore.

    • @Rickky007
      @Rickky007 3 роки тому +1

      @@DJFAmenHeavy we all know the mk7 are not built like the old models mk2 , mk5 ect , but they do have a great digital pitch fader 🎚 & they sound good compared to pioneer or reloop ,just don’t have them on top of a subwoofer 🔊 😂.
