from episode to episode the tabletalk hits a new level, insane what you guys are providing. I appreciate you and thank you very much for sharing so much great content
Matt Wenning, Dave Hoff… What’s next? A round table with Chuck, Kenny Paterson and George Halbert? Please continue interviewing these people. I know that now raw is the thing, but I see that the multiply lifters last much more than raw one’s. I am transitioning to multiply and is more fun! Please more content about multiply (technique, equipment, programming…).
I worked with Dave as a coach for a couple years, and he’s a great guy. Awesome coach and went above what most coaches will do for clients. Best numbers I had ever hit in my life. Glad he got the totals he worked so hard for.
Damn this is great, hoff is so down to earth. Table Talk just gets exponentially better each episode. Would love to hear one with a guy from all the different Westside generations. Imagine how deep the convo would go, pure gold!
One of the best podcasts/interviews I've watched in a long time. Thank you Dave Tate and Dave Hoff. True legends of the industry, thank you for what you do and thank you for making it a point to keep passing it on.
I’m glad you got Hoff here I remember when he hit 3000 I was super pissed because he was a few years younger than me and was crushing way more weight than me. Knowing that I pushed myself super hard to try to get to there and to try to get to that level, never happened but I trained ridiculously hard to try to get there
Loved this guys… I heard you might get Chuck soon.. huge, also we would love to see Greg Panora he’s a great guy and G Halbert also, thank you for the content
I'm not a power lifter, but working to be a great arm wrestler. Love these podcasts as even though they don't talk arm wrestling, learning from the best gives me ideas of ways I can improve my specific training. Thanks for the knowledge.
Incredible interview on many levels, from the science of Louie's training, to the culture of powerlifting, etc., for those who have been in the game for a while, I'm sure this one brought back a lot of memories.
Wow I really needed to hear this. Of course not Westside material here, but there is this drive to constantly improve when it's something you're passionate about. Dedication, discipline, & passion is necessary for success. Also thank both of you for sharing your insights! 💪🏿❤
I’m listening, learning and growing in the powerlifting world by these podcast and other research! Thank you guys so much! P.s have the kids my list (they ask for) all EliteFTS shut!
I said it on the last podcast with Matt Wenning but get Shawn Frankl on he went against west side barbell and use to be Dave Hoff for a period of time it be cool to hear his side going against west side and he’s super chill
I love it. "pain is like oxygen". I agree. I think if your not in some kind of discomfort or pain, you'll never get better. You need oxygen everyday, well then you need pain everyday.
Really good conversation. I am always interested in hearing how elite level competitors actually compete! I lifted with a former Westside lifter for a few years at our local gym, the Westside method (or the parts I used, I was a bench only pull for fun guy), was the strongest I ever got. Ended up with a 500lb raw, natural bench?? I don't think the average person has any idea how hard you have to work to compete and be the best at an elite level. We had LOTS of guys come bench with us, VERY few of them lasted. It was just too hard. Cool vid!
Isn't Merek Health Derek from More Plates More Dates' company he started? If so, when you advertise them you should give Derek a shout out as I think more ppl would follow thru on checking out Merek health. I def need to do this after and start working with this company as I am sick of doctors trying to treat me like an average Joe and not understanding that a true professional needs and knows how to tailor his or her professional advice and opinions based on each individual customer/client/patient!!! So frustrating!!!! Marine Mike 💪
Who is Donny that Dave talks about? I'm a 60 year old retired Marine and washed up powerlifter with high milage on my frame and do not want surgery. My ortho says joint replacement, I say I'd rather have tissue diffusing.
If anybody could give me the list of books they spoke about to read for training and understanding percentages, I would really appreciate it. I can’t remember which section of the podcast it was in

If he got all three of them at the table at once I’m pretty sure I’d send that to everyone to break the internet
Dave is working on a round table in mid August with several of the crew he was a part of at WSBB.

Can’t wait for that!
Kenny was already on!

Wenning and now Hoff! 😃👍. Awesome!
Hands down one of the best episodes. Thanks to Hoff for sitting down for this!
Caught the live halfway through, gotta come back for the rest of it
Same here

I don’t think I’ll ever compete equipped, but Hoff is incredibly inspiring. I’m sure he’d be on top as a raw lifter if he cared.
@old man strength I do see myself venturing into equipped at a later stage. It probably won’t be for another 10 years or so though
I’ve changed my mind since I last posted 😂
@@samrogers7657 dude equipped lifting barely exists now, not sure it will at all in ten years
@@HkFinn83 single ply will always exist I reckon
I don’t want this to be over! Listened back to back. Thank you for all your content!
One of the best podcasts/interviews I've watched in a long time. Thank you Dave Tate and Dave Hoff. True legends of the industry, thank you for what you do and thank you for making it a point to keep passing it on.
One of my favorites. Thank you for instilling the importance of being dedicated to what you love.

Still a win
@FITNESSOVER45No there isn't. The women's equipped heaviest squat is 925lbs.
He's gifted for sure.
The quality of this podcast is increasing episode to episode. Great content
This conversation has so much gold in it. Thank you
I wish I could’ve heard this 10 years ago. This is absolute gold 💛. Thank you for sharing this 🖤🏴
Just got out of work watching now this is awsome Hoff is the man!
I've been waiting for Hoff to be on the podcast for a long time. Definitely did not disappoint.
I really like Hoff. And I *really enjoy his interviews.
nice to hear dave h talk, not broken up in sound bites. thanks
One your best. Loved the info in this, since it’s hard to find Hoff on social media or doing many interviews.
I don't think most ppl outside of powerlifting realize how smart you guys are. To hear this is like listening to a college professor speak.
Listening to these podcasts while training makes me 100% stronger
Table talk and Dave’s videos are without a doubt the best for training and knowledge
Dang Hoff is really easy to listen to. Nice to have the chance to hear from him
Loved this guys… I heard you might get Chuck soon.. huge, also we would love to see Greg Panora he’s a great guy and G Halbert also, thank you for the content
Love hearing about all the old school Westside guys who you would only see at big meets and Powerlifting USA
One of my favorite episodes, can't wait for whatever else is lined up for the podcast!
He might already be the best ever.. puts up incredible numbers again and again
1 on 1, just Dave and the guest, much better than with Sam etc.
I'm not a power lifter, but working to be a great arm wrestler. Love these podcasts as even though they don't talk arm wrestling, learning from the best gives me ideas of ways I can improve my specific training. Thanks for the knowledge.
This was great. Thank you so much for getting the Hoffster!!
Hoff comes across so well. Great discussion.
Baja ✍️ blast ✍️ is ✍️ the ✍️ key ✍️ to ✍️ a ✍️ 3k ✍️ total. Okay got it
This is common knowledge in most of the lifting world. You must be watching filtered media.
I missed the Baja part of this comment the first time I read it lol
Great to see Hoff get more exposure
Fantastic podcast! Thanks for interviewing Dave Hoff.
Great video, thanks! I'm new to powerlifting and the history, so it's super cool to be exposed to these old school legends. Thanks again.
That "Conquering the weight" comment was nothing short of gold. Using that from now on.
I’ve watched a few videos of Dave speaking and telling stories and he seems like one of those guys that’s naturally funny 😂
Incredible interview on many levels, from the science of Louie's training, to the culture of powerlifting, etc., for those who have been in the game for a while, I'm sure this one brought back a lot of memories.
S3 is officially the best season!
Great interview. Felt like I was sitting at the table.
Impressive speaker. Great interview
Definitely one of the best Table Talks yet
For me the key wasn't hypers but nordics, but the principal of do the thing that makes you stronger not just test your strength is extremely on point.
Awesome content. As usual the best continue to state similar things. Endless consistency while staying healthy.
Wow I really needed to hear this. Of course not Westside material here, but there is this drive to constantly improve when it's something you're passionate about. Dedication, discipline, & passion is necessary for success.

I don't lift anywhere near this level. But I watch these everyday. So much information and so interesting. Keep it coming men.

Dope ass guest recently
Great episode, Hoff is a legend!
Loving these Podcasts!! 🤘🏻🔥
These last 2 table talks have been awesome. Would love to see Chuck V come to table talk !
Awesome podcast. Very interesting story.
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this now
He does such a hilarious Louie Simmons impression multiple times in this episode, good shit
Fantastic content! I think I speak for everyone when I ask, where can you get Hoff’s Nightcrew shirt? 😂
No doubt these equipped lifters are absolute animals raw as well.
If they were, they would break raw records too. But they don't...
Like sands through the hourglass so are the Daves of our lives...
Many Daves many hours
I said it on the last podcast with Matt Wenning but get Shawn Frankl on he went against west side barbell and use to be Dave Hoff for a period of time it be cool to hear his side going against west side and he’s super chill
Learned so much from this

Simply fecking awesome 👌
Is this the guy who Chad and Max say doesn’t squat to depth??

I am certain Dave spends more on energy drinks in a year than I make.
What if I told you we get them shipped in bulk…
I want that night crew tshirt
Great episode is Chuck ever coming on here?
Wink wink..
I'd love to hear this without Hoff's PC filter lmao
Beast Talk!
LET'S GO NEUTRON!!!
Does anyone else appreciate Hoff doing voice impressions of Louie, Mendy, and Super D? I was cracking up.
so funny
Jesus....squatting 835 at 148lbs bodyweight is 5.6x his bodyweight. *THAT'S INHUMAN*
The documentary ever finish? Cant find it
Is Da Hoff
Thanks
When is Jimmy Kolb going to be on the podcast?

Can someone time stamp where he talks about how Donnie Thompson saved his career
Hopefully the movie comes out soon.

Donnie Thompson
