One factor concerning PED harm is that most people get their gear from UGLs. And there's no way of knowing what you're taking IS what you're taking and if it's dosed right. Not to mention you don't know what other things are in your gear. By the government having gear listed as scheduled drugs creates this whole black market which makes the gear a lot more dangerous than it actually is.
@ I would over injecting a unknown substance. Luckily my source I have known people who got there stuff tested and posted the results. There’s at home testing kits too so that’s really up to the person on what risks there willing to take

A lot of You Tube commentators downplay the dangers of steroids or say that their damaging effects can be mitigated. I listened to them and now I have heart failure. It didn’t take long either. Your mileage may vary just don’t say you haven’t been warned.
Prove your heart failure was caused by your use of steroids. Prove that you wouldn't be in the same position whether or not you ever touched gear. Incidence does not necessarily correlate to causation.
Get Victor Black on here. He is the one that created momentum on the harm reduction movement as well as templates for the models most people are using. This comment will def get some hate b/c he can be quite confrontational when it comes to the harm reduction convo, but like him or not, might as well get information from the source instead of someone that got their foundations from his models. Not calling out Tanner, I'm meaning most influences in this space. I'm including myself as I use a lot of his models with my own clients.
Dante Trudel was talking about harm reduction long before anyone ever heard of Victor. Black's big sell is using human grade compounds and managing BP. Nothing earth shattering to us guys who've been here awhile.
1:12:11 - "If it is a SARM, just by definition, and by the way your body detects it, your testosterone levels will go down" This is incorrect. The "S" in SARMs stands for selective. Drugs like LGD4033, RAD140, S23, S4, etc. are not SARMs because they are not selective. Real SARMs are selective. For instance, S42, is an AR agonist in muscle and bone but is an AR antagonist in the hypothalamus, pituitary, and liver. It directly is anabolic but also is indirectly anabolic by means of increasing endogenous testosterone production via positive HPTA feedback.
@adamgriff3728 Correct. If it is truly selective then it shouldn't be causing negative feedback to the HPTA access. SARMs like S42, being antagonists in the H/P, actually increase testosterone.
@ haven’t heard of s42, have you taken it and what were your results if you did? Also could you take it along side exogenous testosterone and not be shut down?
@@adamgriff3728 I haven't tried it because I'm on TRT. The suppression from exogenous testosterone likely won't be overcome to a relevant degree by S42.

So we really STILL need videos explaining that steroids are damgerous? I mean really? Unless you’re competing, there is no need whatsoever to risk the consequences. That’s my opinion. There is no safe way to do it. Amazing this is still a discussion
It’s not so much of competing or not cause 99% of those who compete will never make anything off it. Comes down to if you value that look and feel over extended years of life. Its a personal choice that there isn’t a right answer
To be honest yeah, we need as much videos as possible. It seems obvious but you’d be surprised how little teenagers know about the harmful effects and only know you’ll get jacked.
There are plenty of guys from Arnold's generation that are still alive and kicking. What I would like to see is a study of the lifespan of bodybuilders from Arnold's generation that used PEDs verses, bodybuilders that don't. Then compare that to the average man who doesn't body build or do any sort of serious training. Then do the same for powerlifters.
