To officer Madina, what can you tell us about the medications that were sold to the public by Mr. Elias True? Were they in fact lifesaving or were they narcotics (or perhaps being improperly used for a narcotic like effect)? What kind of an effect did they have on those who have been caught using these medications?

That's the critical question. Mr. True is painting himself as the good guy for providing medication to those who need it altruistically, but if he pocketed the money than all he did was exploit the dead for profit.

To Officer Madina: Is there evidence that Mr. True only expedited end-of-life plans for those already dying, suffering and/or non-responsive? Or were families "convinced" to pull the plug on patients that had a good quality of life and would have otherwise lived for a few more years?

I think we are skimming over something rather important: what was the nature of this coercion? were the patients actually legible for euthanasia or not? what was the life expectancy they had left?
I am seeing most people here are focusing over the drug angle, forgetting we could be dealing with a murderer in here.
EDIT: this questions goes to both officer Medina and Mr. True

Who were these buyers that needed your mishandled prescriptions? Are you really selling your wares to the people who need it most, or just anyone with top dollar who might sell it again on a mark up?

Mr True, how long have you been performing this act of distribution of drugs, or as you would call, "providing the public with life saving medicine."
I ask, because with all due respect, I believe the length of time you've been distributing substances will affect our judgement, I only ask that you please speak truthfully and carefully.

Alright, as a wannabe detective, I have a lot, but very good questions for our little friend, Elias True. (Seems close to "Alias true", don't you think?)
    1. With the illegal substances being sold, what are the substances? As in, what kind of medication is he selling? Who are they being sold to in regards of their health, both physically and mentally? How much do they cost on average, and where does the money go?
    2. What has gotten Mr. True caught and taken into custody at this point? What got him into R.O.T.?
    3. From these cases, we must know if there's a cause. What caused Mr. True to start committing these crimes in the first place?
That is all the questions that I have deemed important for now. (Loving the concept and the voice acting, as well as the animation and atmosphere in the video. Keep up the great work.)

    Question to Mr. True
while your opinion of the Concretta's rules and regs aren't the reason as to your incarceration, your mentioning of 'in your experience' has me intrigued. Would you say your actions are motivated by a need to put leftover medical equipment to use, or from genuine concern for those fellow citizens? Expedition and coercion are two different things, but then again, so are altruism and mercantile.

Mr. True, you claimed that all you did was "lay out the options" for those under your care, yet you also claimed you encouraged hastening the end of life plans for some families. My questions are thus as follows: what sort of information did you provide to "encourage" them to speed up their end of life plans, and what condition were your patients in that led you to "encourage" them to hasten said plans?

    To ALL commenters:
Most of you are asking the right questions, so I decided, that instead of repeating them, I will post an observation.
Mr. True is very clearly thinking highly of himself and his actions. You can clearly see this in the way he initially introduces himself and talks about himself as the "the only option" (implying, he's their saviour) for desperate people in need. He then also persuades us at every step, that what he has done was not harmful, acting almost as if he was put into a school detention, instead of getting caught commiting a crime. He even goes as far as blaming the system and "insufferable doctors" for his current situation, as well as telling us that we should be grateful, which could be read as a manipulation technique.
Whether or not Mr. True's actions were moral or not is currently up to debate, but it is rather clear, that he does not regret his actions. He also tried telling us, that it is not a big deal.
    Take that as you will.

There are essentially two issues here... the coercion of the patients and their families, and the redistribution of medication. For Madina: What state were the patients in? Were they actually in a state where "expediting their end of life" could be considered a mercy? And what kind of coercion was applied? Were the families/patients guilted by statements like "lessening the burden on our limited resouces"?
For Mr True: how were the medications stored? Were they in a central nurse controlled storage location where we can confirm they were still safe to reuse? Or were they in the personal possession of the patients, where we cannot confirm that they were still safe to use and thus you may have sold people potentially unsafe potentially expired medications?

My questions are for the officials, mainly. If the officials are unable to answer these questions, feel free to hand it to Mr. Elias:
    1. How much did Mr. Elias charge for his illegal selling of those leftover prescriptions? Can we get a comparison to how high or low it might be...? The goal is to determine how much profit he get from this;
    2. What fraud did Mr. Elias commit, exactly? I don't believe that was addressed in the appeal... From what I gathered, Mr. Elias was in charge of elder care and convinced people to "let go" of their elderly loved ones. What was the fraud Mr. Elias committed?
    3. How did Mr. Elias "coerce" the patients, exactly? What are his methods? He insisted he just persuaded them. Please give us the _worst_ examples. He has presented his case about the best things he had done, so we need to know what are the _worst_ things he had done, to make a proper judgment.

Greetings Officer Madina, thank you for the opportunity to let us answer the call to ROT. I wanted to ask a general question about where and who these prescriptions were sold to by Mr. Truth? As he stated, he had “sold” these prescriptions, and yet his general audience was to the poor people who can not wait nor afford the opportunity, so were these dealings more with official offices or back alley sorts, alongside reasonable price ranges?

  • @Azandeer
    @Azandeer 3 місяці тому +5

So this man, by his own admission, advised families to end the lives of their elderly prematurely, took limited medications from the public, and then sold them for personal profit. The reason there's a "never-ending waitlist" is because of people like this who are profiting off of scarcity of resources. And he explains all of this with a smile on his face. He'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Can we go ahead and take the Release option off the table?

    To Officer Madina:
We heard Mr. True's version of the system of distribution of prescriptions and medicine, how truthful is that? How long is the wait-list? Isn't there a legal way to redistribute the medicine?
Or if only one question may be answered, how does the medicinal distribution system actually works?

Mr True: When you say you advised from "Your Experience", does that mean to say that you gave patients and their families advice in the absence of actual medical statistics and investigation as found by their medical practitioners? Did you research medical journals, consult the AI and confer with your peers and have all parties come to a consensus about the conclusions that you provided to your patients prior to giving this advice? Did you make them aware that your advice was ad-hoc and based on your personal opinion only, not fact or medical investigation?
Or if in fact you did consult with multiple relevant medical professionals, existing statistics, medical journals and your peers for every case: when you laid out' the options to your patients and their families, did you in any way manipulate the facts and statistics about each individuals expected quality of life if they chose to not continue with euthenasia, either through misdirection, lies, absence of information or comparison, or similar means?

Question for Officer madina : Does the Concretta have contact and trade with other stations, or the ability to produce new pharmaceuticals, or are those resources a fixed quantity that will only go down?

Would one of you be willing to go over the cyclic measurement used for the aging system here? How many cycles there are, how long each lasts in... let's say, Earth years (no particular reason)

Officer Medina: can we get the objective details of the "coercion of the elderly" and why the state believes that he had indeed cooerced the elderly rather than Mr. True's assertion that he merely "laid out the facts?"

To Officer Madina: are you able to provide us with any sort of testimony from the affected families of Mr. True's alleged victims? Specifically, have the majority of them regretted his involvement, or has a significant percentage agreed with the arguments he has laid out here for us?

Officer Madina, is there any testimony available from the families of the deceased? Were these people truly nearing end of life, or were their conditions exaggerated to pose euthenasia as the most ideal option by Mr. True for his own profit? Testimonial accounts would shed more light on the intentions and actions of Mr. True.
