I have this helmet. It looks great in white. And I really like the retro vibe styling. But it’s not perfect. It doesn’t appear heavy in specs, but it feels heavy. The overall fit and comfort isn’t spectacular - interior material doesn’t feel as nice as even my Bell Qualifier DLX. Closing and locking the chin bar takes quite a bit of effort. I found a routine that works but is cumbersome and requires fiddling while your trying to operate a motorcycle. I also developed a hot spot on the top right side of my head after a few hours. So not great when you want to go all day or multiple days (I wear my Arai XD4 for that). In conclusion, it’s not a bad helmet, but it isn’t my favorite helmet. Based on my experience, I think it should be priced at around $250 - not more that $300. And I likely wouldn’t buy another one.
Funnily enough, there is no hint at all regarding the absolutely most important criteria of any helmet: safety / shock absorption. My guess, following real helmet tests is that Arai would be outstanding…

I love the sceintific approach from this channel
Thank you. We appreciate your feedback.
Great review thank you. Which would be better for mainly city riding, the V90 for its convenience or a full face option for better safety?
hy ! does de bubble screen get fog ? really need a pinlock sistem with this kind of screen? thanks !
Keep up the good work awesome review super useful!
wow great and detailed review
Great analytic way to rate helmets!
I've seen a few retro helmets that fit glasses now, but I wanted to know which would actually fit them best? Also great review.
Is there a flat visor coming if one wants to replace the bubble?
Nice review...I love the old fashioned bubble shield, but I also love my MT09. Would there be any issues pairing the two?
I will simply combine the helmet with my XSR 900 (MT09 Engine) ;)
Very nice video! Are there any orther modular retro helmets?
Good video. Will a Cardo Packtalk Freecom still fit in the V90?
Great review! Does the bubble shield cause any visual distortion?
Not at all - instead, you get a humongous field of view. The visor is also quite aerodynamic without producing any turbulence
@@mabo-jq7ug does it fog? asking because it lacks pinlock
nice Review!! which would be better in terms of long term performance, the bell bullitt or the V90?
I've heard great things about both HJC and Shoei. But how do their two retro helmets compare specifically? Thanks in advance
HJC is a flip-up, has a sun-visor and comms system prepared, but it looks dorky, is much heavier and the designs are boring. You're welcome.
Btw, what is the difference between the HJC 10B and 20B, and which would be best for V90?
How well would the V90 perform for touring?
How safe is the helmet if it only got a p certification? Nice review btw

Which retro helmet is the safest?
Ok this helmet needs to have a comparison with the rest
We do have a comparison! Its the Retro Helmet guide on our channel.
