Wow! Great job on getting the flood water out. ❤ However, am I the only person who isn't creeped out by this cellar? I'd be so excited to dump all the canned ingredients and lids, wash, wash, wash, and sterilize the jars, and get them refilled this spring after all the time and effort for a bumper harvest! Huge congratulations on such a wonderful treasure of the family homestead! ❤
@GrainFreeHomestead That's wonderful! Minutes ago, I told my husband all about your cellar video. I spoke mostly about the dates on the lids and the jar Miss Stephanie and her Grandma canned. I don't know if this would interest either of you, but I thought it might be something if a couple of those lids might be saved (and cleaned) to display in a shadow box or in a small keepsake box with a note retelling the story of this family home. ... something your children may be amazed to run across in the decades ahead. I guess I'm just touched by the lid from Miss Stephanie and her Grandma! 😆🥰🙏💐

We are definitely going to try to clean and save all the jars we can. Hopefully to refill them or add them to the old jar collection I have

Enjoyed seeing all the old canned stuff. Bet some love when into those. Would be great if you could make it water tight.
Hopefully down the road we can fix it and make it a more usable space
You could ask Ball State University to test that food. Thier ancestors made those jars from a miuntaun of Indiana sand called the Hoosier Slide.
what a treasure trove, i would be in my element exploring , apart from the food lol,, is there anything salvageable ?
just the jars there is all kinds of other stuff that we can use like old crocks most would be for just cool farmhouse decorations.
wow, i,m so jealous, its all coming along fantastically@@GrainFreeHomestead
