The oldest UFO in my stash is a baby sweater my mom started for me in 1959. It's lovely turquoise sportweight wool, and there's some still left after I unraveled it and knit a cabled sweater vest (about 1986), a cabled hat and a lace scarf (2020.) My stash is built on scrounging (and spinning), not so much on shopping. In fact, I bought some yarn 2022, but I didn't like the socks it made. (It's in your hands now.)
