Can you feed the mechanical pump with an electric pump or will that become a restriction?
Yes you can, but means more hoses, etc. It doesn’t take long to crank once the air is purged out of the system which is only happens the first time it starts after sitting a while. 12 hours or so since it’s been sitting since this video, if I went out there now and cranked it, it would start almost straight away.

Any difference between RX2 and another Mazda called a Capella?
Rx2 was rotary powered. Capella was 1600cc piston powered. Some slight body panel differences otherwise pretty much the same car

i used to have a 13bt that i built the engine on fabbed up all the piping manifolds ect on, i loved how simple and clean it was!! even though mine had twin cdi systems, water injection and was probably not as simple as most i am trying to comprehend how your engine bay is so messy, do you have shares in speedflow? you harp on like an expert but when everyone see's your work.. what the hell man?
