This Type of weapon was able to shoot targets in short range (see coh 3 elevation) as well as in distances (like we used to see in coh2) in reality, especially in horizontal mode IT was often used against light armoured vehicles. I think both versions of the game are far form perfect over that matter.
I'm agree for graphics, better texture in 3 but much better effect in 2. I hope it's only a simpler version for the alpha and they will change it to be more realistic for the release ...
The models look a lot better but the particle effects are terrible, smoke and fire and bullets look really bad; but that can all be patched up I hope. Honestly it's the only reason I haven't preordered but i'll keep an eye on it
bro this was alpha gameplay. they legit explain on the discord that alot of stuff was already being worked on before the alpha but wasnt ready for the alpha in time to show on it. so alot of animations are place holder in the alpha but were finished on the dev build before the alpha but not visible.

The Coh2 one looks like you need to get your eyes checked and with 3 you got your glasses. All the details on 2 are just a bit blurry and the edges not as sharp.

What's more if past games have looked better then what the bloody hell is the current game doing if it can't look as good as past games from years ago on updated game engines? I'll put things into persepctive for you. Transfer unreal 4 stuff onto unreal 5 and it will look better on unreal 5. And that's just with a demo. What we see here is the reverse of that currently.

Why the Studios dont just develop it to a finished product and then releasing it dirctly instead of bringing out Bad alphas and We have to wait 1 or 2 years.
Tbh coh3 is more realistic in its take on smoke and explosions like it’s not going to shoot out a smoke like black powder idk I’m coming from the side of never playing coh and what I see is just a newer version that’s more realistic
People are acting like what they have seen of COH3 to date is the actual final finished released game rather than the beta version as they finish the game up. Remember the game still does not officially release for 3 more months, what do you think, the Relic crew are already finished working and getting the final touches done and just drinking coffee all day? Final finished graphic touches and contrast issues will be one of the last things they finish after they are sure all the gameplay code and balance is somewhat finished first.
The game will be released next month and looks almost like what we see here. It is so far from finished and looks, sounds and feels like a toy war. I am disappointed.
Sometimes I seen my artillery done that no animation on company of heroes 2. But to be frank I hate company of heroes 2, I spend more time on company of heroes 1 mod game. Still using old Version of company of heroes 1 though since newer Version not allowing me edit my troop size in campaign. Mostly I enlarge unit size for German and gave them acces to tiger, tiger 2 including jadgpanther spawn. Limit for AI though sometime they can go absolute ham spawning tiger 2 giving me heard attack when I see 4 more coming in after I destroyed 2....
3 looks and feels like FTP StarCraft clone. Units just don’t seem like they belong in the map and feel floaty. Coh2 feels much more organic. 3 feels ‘gamey’
@@GonkOrange It won't. Animations is not something you rush in after the fact. If it hasn't been done yet, then it won't be done for the release, 3 Months from now. The industry is losing its talent. Look what happend to the animations, over at the Battlefield series. 2042s animations look amateurish in comparison to older titles and the same degradation is happening to CoH3. But as the comments suggest, most people don't even notice or care.

only the ground and weapon plate textures look better, everything else (soldiers, animations, vfx) looks a little worse actually
