🤣 oh geez! The switchlits are old each bit so useful. I have quite a few of them that got shoved into a box at the back of my desk. I completely forgot I had them! Of course you can use any die cut and emboss it! 😊

Welcome and thank you! Switchlits are no longer made (on clearance) however, there are other brands and embossing folders with die cuts called Cut and Emboss which would be applicable. It’s all about using what you have! ❤️

Not only did you describe my childhood kitchen table, I still have it! haha True it's in the basement, and the chairs no longer have the red glittery plastic finish, but I do have it. Fab techniques. tfs
Thanks for using a flashlight. It really helped the cameral pick up the shine and glitter! I didn't know there were ones that you could switch out the die cuts, like those butterflies. I have one a Sizzix one that embosses and cuts out a sunflower (I love sunflowers) but there is no switching out. It just does one cut with embossing.
That sunflower one might be an Impresslit rather than a Switchlit. New ones coming on the market by various suppliers called Cut and Emboss. Either way, two things done in one step is a win! I’m glad you were able to spot the little flecks in the paste. 😊
So weird I was cleaning my craft room today and came across that same texture paste still in package ❤guess I will be breaking that out and yes I always forget about the versa mark pen need to put that where I notice it more . Thanks for the video pretty card

I have this stencil set and love the larger one for using with pastes. It is beautiful on colored card stock with solar paste...

I put a label on each embossing folder with the “recipe” on it for embossing. Saves lots of time and frustration.

They are an older version of newer folders like cut and emboss. You don’t have luck with dry embossing or heat embossing?

What glue stick do you use for embossing?
You may be referring to the Versamark pen I was using to attach the embossing powder to the butterfly. I did not use a glue stick in this video.
