I had a 92 SL2 Saturn in high school in the early 2000s. I always wanted to turbo it just for the fun of it. Bought a 98 Z28 and put a turbo on that instead lol

Those weren't ecotec engines. That is the Saturn specific LL0 engine.

it was mostly choking on fuel, but yeah you can year a little blbnmbmblmbmbl in there, maybe he needs more plug gap, or the combined coil pack and waste spark is mad

Yeah you're just not gonna get a lav mic to sound good at all with how loud cars are. You gotta get the mic waaay farther back just because those little electrec condenser mics are too sensitive. It's gonna sound like a richard holdener video, blown out trash. If the transmitter has a 3.5mm jack you can plug in some headphones and those will work as microphones in a pinch and handle as much sound pressure as you'd like. They don't sound super great, and they won't work well in quieter environments but you'll get much cleaner exhaust sounds and engine bay sounds.
