Johnny pissed me off so much this episode. Dude really stood there and egged on a fight between the girls and did not try to deescalate at all. And his excuse was so dumb. "Oh I know how she feels when my mom died I wanted to do the same thing." Well Johnny just because you had the same impulse doesn't mean that it was right. 1. Sam is not Tory's punching bag for when she's upset. No one should be fighting with her when she's in this state. She needs to go to the punching bag or she can spar with you. 2. Isn't fighting when your mad lead to more problems? Johnny is just now getting his life together and the man is in his 50s. Cause when he was young whenever something made him mad, he hit it. Just like Tory has been doing since she came on the scene. At a certain point you can't punch your problems away. It just shows me the writers will give him moments where it looks like he's grown but he's essentially the same character. Whatever evolution he gets will get tossed aside the minute any adversity comes in his life.
Not everyone have to go miyagi do's way to take in conflicts, it wasnt Daniel's or his wife's call to stop the fight. Sam wasnt her punching bag, they were in an equal fight that Sam could have won.
@DeanLance-q1dit’s not acting like Daniel Stan it’s using common sense. Everytime either of them get mad they want to fight and as I said it usually makes their situation worse. Why is it so bad to say hey let’s take a minute then when you calmed down we can have the fight. I mean literally no one else but Johnny thought this was a good idea. And let’s not act like he has good judgement.

@DeanLance-q1dain’t nobody biased against Johnny I just don’t agree all of his stupid decisions. It seems to me like y’all can’t handle anyone saying anything negative about Johnny. No matter what he does, he has to be right when that has never been the case.
So it is worth pointing out that, out of *all* of Miyagi-Do, Sam is quite literally the only one not mentally messed up right now. She's the only one who's actually focused and I think, as pretty much the only character who was able to completely resist Cobra Kai, that's very purposeful on the writers' part.
Daniel's biggest weakness is himself. He has a vengeful nature and an obsession with putting his philosophy above everyone else's. Had Mr. Miyagi known about Daniel putting him on a pedestal, he would have confronted Daniel about it and revealed that he fought in the Sekai Taikai and told him about the other skeletons in his closet.
I agree that Daniel gets in his own way the most. I don't know though that Miyagi would have ever told him about the Sekai Takai unless something happened that made it inevitable. Miyagi had the right to his secrets too

Johnny is such a baby, it’s like he forgot that the last time the kids fought with anger Miguel ended up in a wheelchair. If Johnny genuinely cared for Tory he should have fought on the mat with her. He always comes off like he just wants to oppose Daniel and yeah Daniel has his flaws but he wasn’t wrong in this situation. Even 5 years olds learn that they can’t take their anger out on their friends. What would Johnny have done if Tory went too far and broke Sam’s arm or leg?
@DeanLance-q1d Daniel has his annoying moments too but Johnny is the biggest baby in the show. He never steps up and is less mature than his 2 teenage sons. He cares more about his rivalry with Daniel than he does about the kids. Daniel is a control freak but Johnny is a jealous baby.

22:48 I had bilateral pulmonary embolism my freshman year in college due to a blood clot in my leg breaking up and going to each lung. By the time I was able to go to the student health center and tell them I was having shortness of breath, they started moving so fast, I thought I was in a movie!

i know fighting emotionally is not smart and obviously she will lose because of that clearly mentally destroy her more but the thing is also I feel like the way Barnes portrayed the Sai Kai Tai Kai its not going to be as fair and safe as the all valley it might be as dangerous as thestreet fight daneil had with Chozen is KK2.
@AishaWilson Aisha I have a theory that it might not be Kreese who killed Tory's Mother But it was Terry Silver by using the Silver Bullet in season 5, I have a felling before Kreese went to jail he told Silver where Tory lived and so Terry got bailed out by one of his henchmen from Terry's account obviously and went top get revenge on Tory by doing that then fleeing the country.
That was terrible writing to have Tory going back to where she was and being with the same woman who made her suffer last season. Her mother was doing well and then Kreese showed up and the mother died already, so i have a feeling kreese or Silver had something to do with it
If they had Kreese so far as to poison this girls mother they better not try to redeem his sorry ass. I'm already annoyed they won't commit to him just being a POS.
