Really cool cheese strat, It works great! though I was curious if this could possibly apply to a boss like CC? considering you can lure it close to the ocean and have the boat in a nearby corner and hopefully it could work soundly too.
After testing I can confirm it works on every giant on the surface except dragonfly and crab king, not sure why but dragonfly does not freeze as fast as other giants so he still gets hits in and crab king does not work as you cannot make this set up with him as far as I'm aware
@razofayne dfly has a higher freeze threshold than other mobs because "lore" (basically because she is fire-spewing creature that thrives in stupidly hot environments so it makes sense that she'd produce heat or at least have residual heat or something idk)
@@eternalvelvet401 I just tested it, it's not patched.... Yet. A few things that might help make it work. The boat must have at least 3 sails. Make sure the sails are down before flingos are turned on and do not go back up while spawning bee queen. Plant the grass tufts as close together as you can, I recommend geometric placement if on pc. It's possible to set up the boat, turn the sails and flingo's on and then plant the grass until the flingo's are flinging constantly I hope this helps but if it's still not working for you I don't mind posting a video setting it up to help you out.
@@K.O578 place a boat, then place 3 sails, a steering wheel and 2-4 flingo's. Sail into the corner of the land and leave sails down, turn flingo's on and plant grass till flingo's are going constantly, usually takes about 10 and That should do it. Several things to note. Must be 3 sails, it will not work with 1 or 2. Sails must be down before flingos are turned on. Flingo's must be on before placing the grass. That should be everything. Hope it helps :)

Good one, there's a bit different way of doing this that won't let BQ move: ua-cam.com/video/eltGgzovGzA/v-deo.html But my fav method will always be: ua-cam.com/video/4KB0N_2SxAQ/v-deo.html being able to kill her day 2 with cheap materials is unmatched. Also, did you came up with some strategy using those walls and fences? Or is it just opening/closing the fence at right time so bees are always chasing but never reaching you? I was testing that system with long walls or mazes but didn't go too well, bees dodn't sync and I had little time to hit BQ. Would like to see how your build performs.
@@pepebenalua I have tinkered with this strat since making this. It is possible to keep the bee queen frozen using this strat but it requires better positioning when what I did here. This world is pretty old now and the Fences are for a strat I used a couple of years ago. The idea is that the bee queen is trapped in an area using moles or goats and the baby bees would collide into each other within the walls and not move. However there are issues with it. First off while I can't confirm it I have been told by the people I shared it with that it has been patched but I couldn't tell you how. Second it needed several whips or Wanda's alarming clock so it is pretty much character specific. Thirdly it was not consistent, occasionally the baby bees would pop out of the walls and attack you. When it worked tho it was glorious, once the initial set up was made it was basically trading nightmare fuel (to fuel the alarming clock) for bee queen loot.

Now the other strategy was patched in a way that grumble bees no more collide each other when trying to get inside the walls. Speedrunners used this strategy because you could survive tanking only the queen and kill her with Wolfgang.

i think they patched it :( i keep trying and the flingo behavior is not affected by sails
