Brilliant video mike fantastic been a while since I've commented hope you and yours are well Definate big fan of the suprise subscribe makes us smile every time keeping it real Not bought from you in a while but been buying stuff you do especially Port merry on 😂 much appreciated for all your advice and help what to buy and wrapping etc Take care and oh btw Mrs hates the 360° camera puts her off watching lol
Sorry for the delayed reply. Many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. The video hasn’t had 200 likes yet so we will have to see as to whether I bring it back or not 🙂. I only use the 360 camera occasionally now. It is great in some scenarios. Always keep it with me just in case
I would put a plastic around the speakers so that they do not come in contact with the styrofoam, which can be abrasive. Little pieces of styrofoam can also chip off and stick to many surfaces via static electricity so the plastic will allow the speakers to emerge completely clean. Long term the styrofoam can chemically break down and actually stick to the side of the object it was designed to protect, sometimes causing discoloration on the object. You sometimes see this on items that have been stored for years in styrofoam. Since the speakers would be enclosed in plastic you could opt for using free locally sourced crumbled newspapers in the remaining gaps in the inner box rather than tossing in a few sheets of bubblewrap that are not going to do that much since it does not fill up the entire void. Bubblewrap can also leave ghost impressions of its bubbles on some surfaces due to the tension of the wrap against the item it protects. You might want to get a full size tape gun as its designed for speed. That hand held tape dispenser is way to slow and time is money. I am not a fan of the Kraft paper as it costs money whereas I use free newspaper sourced locally. The Kraft paper is also be used incorrectly. You can't simply loosely layer it in the box with minimum crumpling. Take some newspaper in your hand and crumple it in your hand and squeeze down on the resulting wad of paper - see how it resists it provides your hand and then expands back. The paper needs to be sufficiently crumpled into wads so it acts like the crumple zones they build into cars to protect passengers from accidents. Get a larger pair of all steal scissors to cut the cardboard as it will much easier due to added leverage and the scissors can be resharpened using a knife sharpener. Those scissors with the plastic handles can be dangerous as the repeated stress on the handles will eventually cause a metal blade tang to suddenly burst through the handle due to stress fractures. You may end up cutting your hand.
@@fyldecoastflips no worries Mike probably more me not watching a video for a while. No worries being busy is good, I really appreciate how much effort youtube videos take so enjoy any the people I like to watch on youtube making videos! Hope the sales are good and all is well.👍
I have a small dispenser for thin tape which helps a bit. I’ve tried with tape guns but never found one I like. Maybe I should try again. Especially coming into Christmas! Anything that saves a little time is good. Thanks for watching
Great video watched them all just bought 80 pieces of woodville pottery because of things learned of your videos What would be best way of selling job lot or sell individual keep up the great work good luck Christmas rush
Hi, it depends what you have but if you don’t have a full set or sometimes even if you do I’d likely split it down into smaller bundles. All plates, all bowls, all cups and saucers etc etc. or try in quantities of 4 or 6. Depends what you have and what the solds are like on eBay at any given time. Thanks for watching
Push the piano ceramic ornament more onto your shelf mate , gives me anxiety thinking it’s gunna fall off 😅 . Thanks for sharing the packing vids along with the nice sales 👍🏻 i put tape down the edges of the box too.
That’s it! (Re the tape.) Claire often doesn’t and thinks I’m mad for doing so. Tbh the tape I use is not always the best so I need to do it for peace of mind. The piano is now safe!😂

Yeah that’s it. I really don’t mind hanging onto items for a while. Some out there will tell you if it hasn’t sold within 3 months it’s a fail. That’s simply not true in my opinion. You have the items that sell quick and the items that take a little longer. And of course the seasonal stuff. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Most underrated reselling channel on UA-cam. First one I found and still my favourite.
That’s very kind of you. Really appreciate you commenting and watching 🙂👍
Really enjoyable seeing how you package various things. Thanks for sharing
No problem. I’ll do a dedicated video just to packaging at some point. Thanks for watching
