In today's video I'm showing you how to paint SAKURA or cherry blossoms in detail with watercolor. This is a very easy and straightforward step by step tutorial that will go into every single little detail about how i paint my cherry blossoms.
So, It is Cherry Blossom Season and we are having a Hanami Party!! - Not really, Please stay inside, safe and healthy. But we are doing the next best thing! Painting the Cherry Blossoms!
In this tutorial I am doing a bit more of a detailed approach than last year and we will learn how to paint SAKURA or as called in the western hemisphere, cherry blossoms in detail.

I, too, love cherry blossoms!! I think it stems from the candy dish with cherry blossoms on it that I inherited from my parents. I have always loved that pretty dish. This painting is amazing, and I so appreciate the close-ups of your painting tutorial! Not every artist on UA-cam does it, but when you can see the close-ups, it makes the tutorial so much better! I think the nail polish is from the Fall Collection by Nails Inc. Raphael Brush is a 2/0 from the Petit-Gris Pur series. Hope this is helpful :D

Arches is a super widely known brand, have you tried Amazon global? If not, 100% cotton paper of 140lb should work great.
Hey! Arches is made by Canson, so maybe try with that? I'm using right now a cellulose paper I got by mistake and it does get in the way of my paintings. So you can check if yours is the same.
It’s super expensive and seems like sold out on UK Amazon 😔
@@zaranara4388 Arches *is* an expensive one. I've heard Bee Paper or Legion Stonehenge are really good, and Strathmore is a popular brand that also has good reviews. I live in Peru and they love Canson here, is everywhere! So I've been wanting to try more brands as well but no luck finding 😢
