A Valentine's Day winter storm system moves into North Dakota and Minnesota bringing winds gusting up and over 60 mph and widespread whiteout conditions. Portions of Interstate 29 and 94 have been closed due to such poor conditions on the road. In neighboring Clay County just across the Minnesota border from Fargo, the sheriff issuing a statement that because of the storm every road in the county has been closed and no one should travel.
Shot 1: Traveling west on main avenue in town and experiencing incredible amounts of blowing snow.

I lived there for 8 Winters...I never got used to them. I'm from Tennessee. My first winter back here I just laughed when folks said it was going to be cold...

Great video. I’ve only been in ND in the summer when I went to my husband’s high school reunions, which were a blast. But get this, his hometown is Langdon , and the next town down the highway is called “ Olga “ and the next town after that is called “Mountain “. Neat, eh.
