I was always so glad to get the Grizzco Brella, it paints like crazy and everything in SR is so much easier when things are turfed.
Naturally, I got the Grizzco Splatana by far the most times.
Yeah I really like the grizzco brella, and I honestly will take that thing over the grizzco splatana any day of the century.
Grizzly Splatana can be fun on the right rotation. I like it more than the Slosher which is cool but it's so slow if you miss your shot you basically have to run away

Blaster is so bad, brella can Paint a lot more and the damage is so bad. Brella can be more DPS and other weapons can even deal through armors

I’ve got a friend who hates the Grizzco slosher, in Splatoon 2, he deadass got the weapon 8 times in a row when we were playing a Grizzco rotation.
I don't blame the guy, it runs out of ink sooooo fast.
I love having tREMENDOUS build up only to be met with "Low Ink!" and because of white ink frames, I have to wait 15 years to recover ink!

Honestly, Grizzco Brella is probably one of my favourite Grizzco weapons. The high fire rate shotgun shots just make it so good for me.
I mean if Nintendo is watching DUDE and Chara to address the state of brella, I don’t think we’re getting anywhere anytime soon. “See, look, he got an assist with ink mine! This weapon is perfect.”
The thing with Grizzco, and one of the things I appreciate about it, is that it forces you to get better at all the weapons. Learn their strengths and weaknesses, what your skill does and doesn't allow you to do with it, how to play around the parts of it you dislike. Even if you really feel/have reason to say the weapon is bad, it can be a good feeling to be able to manage with it :)
Yeah, it's a nice PvE training ground where the bosses present you with a bunch of strengths/weaknesses to compare your weapon to
yeah!! and especially with grizzco weapons that have extreme strengths + weaknesses like slosher, charger, and splatana. thats what makes salmon run so fun to me
The brella is one of my favorites, lmao. Light on damage but inks ALL over the place. So fun.
Plus, it’s almost the G. Blaster, but with better Paint and Ink-Effiency.

Arguably, the Grizzco Brella and Charger are some of the most mobile Grizzco weapons and can paint very easily! 🤣 Yes, Grizzco Brella has low damage for a SINGLE shot, but considering that it essentially has a VERY rapid reload speed when holding the trigger down, it’s borderline a endless wall of infinite ink if you know how to handle it well! ☔️
When having this weapon during a round, keep your priority on killing lessers and turfing the ground, in order to help your teammates who might have higher DPS weapons to take out tougher bosses, but might be sluggish and needs more mobility options (such as Grizzco Slosher, all of the heavier Splatlings, Dynamo Roller, etc)
Okay but counter argument, it's really unsatisfying to use compared to the other grizzcos. :p
I agree, G. Brella might be slightly overhated because it is boring, when their not considering it’s strengths. I too enjoy as it is my 2nd favorite Grizzco weapon to use. Sometimes people don’t think logically man. 🙄
Grizzco Splatana and Grizzco Charger are my favourites. Splatana can clear large hordes of lessers, which is SUPER important and can get rid of stupid Flyfishes.
The Charger is just funny to tank dump on things like Flipper Floppers and Maws 💀
I mainly kept getting the slosher & splatana. I went from being awful with them & having no idea what I was doing to becoming a powerhouse lmao
Seeing you get "lucky" with your grizzco brella odds reminds me of a time when umami ruins just came out so I was playing the mode it was in the other stage was mince meat metalworks I got mince meat like 9 times in a row and now whenever I see that map as one of the maps in a mode I just don't play that mode.

it's not a bad weapon, but the lack of any range makes a lot of bosses a pain.
As somone who has days upon days of Salmon Run in both games, it is so interesting when top level players play the mode. Often times, they struggle haha. Very fun to watch tho

I don't think I've ever seen a pro player rage at Salmon Run more than Chara raging over getting the Grizzco Brella
This rotation kept giving me the Charger, so I feel that pain. While the Charger is my favorite Grizzco weapon, the game starts to feel boring if it's all I get.
I actually think Grizz Brella is super good. Excellent rate of fire (for respectable DPS) and unmatched paint coverage, outclassing even the Big Swig, make it and the entire crew super mobile, since you're able to keep turf inked, which means more space for your team to play with, even if it lacks a shield.
I'd say giving your team plenty of room to avoid damage outright trumps having a personal shield any day of the week.

You know brellas are in a bad state when a brella with NO canopy functions better than all of the base game brellas, and yet, it also just so happens to be the weakest of all Grizzco weapons, dealing 15.0 points of damage per singular ink pellet💀

Yeah it’s weird the brella has… No brella but ultimately I don’t guess it matters that much lol. It’s effectively a grizzco “shooter” I guess.
Fun fact: regular brella technically deals more DPS than the grizzco version. It can 1-cycle drizzlers which is something the grizzco brells straight up can't do.
I actually think grizzco brella is better than the blaster. Insane paint, still does group damage, is more mobile and hits farther

Grizzco Brella is nice during Golden Rotation because you can paint the entire map for the team.
Anyways, you should stand by the ramp near the basket during Glowflies. Not that it matters much lol, its just less ink throwing.
First, not Brella Grizzco weapon is the Grizzco Blaster. This fine weapon not only shoots slower than the Grizzco Brella, it also has worse paint and less dps than the Brella as well. However, it is 1000% more satisfying.

I don't know whose idea it was to make a brella without a shield. I get that every Grizzco weapon needs cons to balance out the pros, but they could've done something much cooler with it. It doesn't feel as creative as the others.

I remember getting 4 Grizzco Sloshers in a row, this included Coho and lost that wave, the reason why I hate it is because this wastes so much ink

whenever I play inkbrush I switch a second button to zr (usually L) so I can alternate, makes it way easier to spam when you get used to it

Brella shouldve had a giant tent shield that does roller damage and moves super quickly and goes far and covers its range and despawns in just a few seconds, but you dont have a normal shot. Basically the opposite of this. I just personally think the interesting thing about brellas is the shield not the shotgun

There's a roller - pretty sure it wasn't big swig? Its been months since i went through that bs - that is _atrocious_ at being useful in salmon run. The windup takes way too long (3+ secs) and doesnt one shot anything even by rolling them over.
This just remined me but i just recently got my internet back after a move and missed the big run AGAIN so i decided to try and get the new king salmonoid. I managed to get him and almost beat him...

Grizzco Brella ain't even bad. It's a paint-bot and the least fun of every Grizzco Weapon but it's not bad.
It's the support the other Grizzco Weapons need to do their jobs.

Funnily enough the Grizz-Co. Brella is one of my preferred Grizz-Co. weapons SIMPLY because it's usable for me! The slosher is WAY too slow (though the piercing is nice), the Splatana is melee-only which is just suicide in Salmon Run, the charger eats your ink tank up stupidly quickly and whilst the stinger is fine... I'm not the best Stinger player...
Personally, the Grizz-Co. Blaster is legit the best. Pop pop pop till the salmonids drop!

Undercover does 40
Splat Brella does 81
Tentabrella does 119
That weapon has movement like Undercover with the shield down which is fairly good, higher dps than a Tenta but no shield. It’s not the best Grizzco weapon but it’s not bad by any means.
i think some weapons have different dps outputs in salmon run
