Hi. Good luck. Acrylic colors are not necessarily easier to paint with, just different. After all, they dry much faster. In my figurative paintings, I use many layers to achieve the soft transitions between light and shadow that oil is so good at. I think you will miss the possibilities that oil gives in portrait painting, but you will be gifted with other advantages with acrylic. Greetings from Denmark
Just FYI, there are many oil paint manufacturers that make water-mixable oil paints - Daler-Rowney, Holbein, and Golden. They act and dry exactly like traditional oil paint, but can be thinned and cleaned with plain water.
I agree... I have been an artist for years, but took few art classes. My knowledge was developed by practice, practice, practice. Someone asked me before "How can you work so fast and keep such good perspective and balance?" Practice. Years of practice. And I am still learning. I only recently started painting and using canvas. Being a full-time working Mom put my career on hold. Now that our son is grown he needs my time less and my husband is being supportive of me getting back into my art. I find it is like learning to ride a bike. It comes back naturally. I did realism for years and now I am painting abstracts which is a blast. I did 3 this past weekend alone. Each time I feel I get better. Our 23 year old Son keeps falling in love with a piece and wants to keep it. I will suggest to anyone that yes use a good paint and a good quality canvas paint. And don't be afraid to go bold and be fearless... Nothing is off limits for me. I find it more satisfying... I love your advice and your tips are wonderful! Thank you! From one older person to another... 😊
After one year of learning to draw with graphite, charcoal, and colored pencils I am taking the plunge into acrylic painting. I have spent a few weeks watching "how to acrylic" videos. Most of what I have viewed are stunning landscapes or highly detailed animal drawings which are beautiful. But I am also seeking how other artists paint with acrylics. Then I came across your videos! Your style is very fresh and modern to me. I love it. Thank you for the education. You have provided me with so much inspiration. I love the finished painting but I also love it at 21:39.
Hello and thank you very much for the nice words. It means a lot to me that what I do makes sense to others besides myself. Yes, there really are many very talented artists who demonstrate their skills on UA-cam. I have to admit that I see a lot of them and the possibilities are endless. The acrylic colors are especially good when, like me, you want a slightly faster workflow. They cannot immediately replace the oil colours, for example - in a figurative painting - when the light turns into shadow on a cheek to below the garden. When you have to perform a soft transition between light and shadow, it takes time to perform. You can, but it's a bit trickier. As for 21:39 ... well, I can see the sketchiness myself as a quality in a painting, but I have to see it "finished". It's something I'm working on, getting it a little more resolved, but it's difficult for me. Try to find my painting MARKBLOMSTER on my web page: SKORA.DK. Seak: "skora markblomster" on Google. What a wonderful painting! You’re so generous with your knowledge, thank you! Not everyone shows a SLOW step-by-step: they’re usually darting all over the canvas - so dizzying for an amateur would-be painter. I watch your videos over and over: again, thank you so much for teaching me (and everyone else) how to start to have confidence in oneself.

I think it's good that you motivate people to buy what they can afford and mention studio quality as a good starting point. This means that more time can be used for practice because you can start painting sooner rather than saving on expensive materials. You show your paints, this shows the audience that you have already tried different things and really have experience with them.

I have learnt so much from watching you and listening to you I feel I was lost in a maze of confusion and you have gone ahead of me dropping rose petals to guide me out of the maze to free up my mark making, thank you, thank you, thank you,x
I absolutely love how you go from such a watery, dreamy style in the beginning to the fine lines and defined color spaces. It makes me excited to see, in a way, I don’t have to give up exploring different techniques within the same piece. Thank you so much. I’m beginning to become kinda of a “groupie” for this channel. I never make comments on people’s videos 😂
Thank you Tina. Don't give up on exploring, even in the actual painting you are working on. I think you must be my first groupie then ... nice ... and thanks for this comment.
It is an impressive masterpiece of art. I think of being a painter and I am just a little bit scared of starting out. I am definitely following your instructions on starting my journey. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me.
I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling inspired! Everyone starts somewhere, and with practice and passion, you'll find your unique style in no time. Keep at it!
I love the way you teach! There's so much to learn. I love some of the prrevious videos you completed, encouraging to just paint. The more you paint, it helps create your own style. Thank you so much.
Yes, I find a lot of fun in painting ... and recently in making videos. There is still a lot to learn, I have a long way to go too, but it when it is fun it's easy. God luck to you.
I learned so much from you. I’m a beginner and I’m having lots and lots of fun not taking anything too seriously. I subscribed and look forward to watching more of you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found the introduction comprehensive. It's my goal to provide valuable content to my viewers. Thank yuou for watching.
Very good video, you explain clearly and can summarize the information well.🙂 To counteract the brushes working down, it helps me to prime a canvas again with Gesso, even if it has already been pre-primed, and sand it smooth. If I were to sand it straight away, I might remove too much Gesso and the colors would sink even more into the canvas. I hope the tip helps. I have a small addition to the paints, Amsterdam is a brand from the manufacturer Talens and is also a studio/student paint and belongs in the list. Vajello is a paint manufacturer and not a studio/student quality brand, Vajello has two acrylic paint brands AV Acrylic Artist and AV Acrylic Studio, the latter of which is the studio variant. Greetings from Lower Saxony in Germany 🙂
Hi. Thanks a lot for this info. I have previously worked with extra layers of gesso, and I sanded down so it was smooth. It's very nice to paint on. I'll have to admit that today I just use the canvases as they come. However, I am a bit picky about the canvas itself. But thanks for detailed info also about the paint. Are you sure of what you write about Amsterdam ... I don't think these colors are as good as other artist quality colors, also they are priced just like studio quality..
Thankyou for the very informative video. I usually don’t get a lot out of watching someone paint, but your incredible knowledge and generosity with that knowledge has made the three videos I’ve watched this afternoon of yours worth every minute spent. Thank you again and wishing you art in all your days.
I stopped drawing for almost twenty years because I focused on working hard to earn a retirement fund. Your teaching is superb!👍 Appreciation from Taiwan!! This is exactly what I was looking for. You're an excellent instructor, and your guidance is just what I needed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and inspiring me!"❤
This was so helpful. Thank you. The little glass bowls and mini whisks are brilliant ideas. I'm guessing you must also be a creative cook. At the age of 80 and newly retired, I am determined to apply my remaining years to two things...time with my grandchildren and growing a regular painting practice. There is so much to learn, and you have already been a tremendous help. Over the years, I've spent time drawing and collaging and printmaking; but, full-on painting is new to me. Predictably, I want my current work to bring all those media together with acrylics. PS: I love Paine's Grey. It makes a wonderful deep grey-blue, especially when brushed into other blues. Thanks again from the 'old gal.'
Hello, It was great to hear, Thank you for your very kind comment. I like to cook a lot, so ... well, I think I'm an OK cook. It is very important that you can work every day. You get a lot better from it. Nice that we share the enthusiasm for Paine's Grey. Good luck with your painting process, 'Greetings from Denmark
Thank you so much for your instructions. They are very helpful to me as I just started painting some months ago. I like your very clear and calm type of speaking. It gives me self-conscience and encouragement. I am happy to watch your other videos. Greetings from Germany.
My favorite palette is a piece of glass. I bought a framed print from the local charity shop. The print and frame were awful looking, but the glass was perfect. I covered the edges of the glass with duct tape so they're not so sharp. If I want a portable palette, I use freezer paper. Cheaper than disposable palette paper, but has the same plastic-like coating. I use binder clips to anchor the paper to a scrap of stiff cardboard.
I paint in acrylic. Recently, I had some spare corrugated cardboard . So i used it to cover my work table..smooth side up. I discovered it was great to wipe my brush off or test if there was still colour on the brush. Also it's cheap. Thankyou for your explanation about colours dulling when you mix them. A useful thing to know!
Digging the Bauhaus color wheel. On the six prinaries, it might help beginners if you specify which cadmium yellow -- med or deep? (I'm guessing since those are the more orange.) Same for cadmium red (light?). A quick mention of matte and gloss medium, aside from the airbrush medium, might help too. This is a wonderful video. Your presentation of the information is very clear, effective, and enjoyable to watch. Your paintings are wonderful.
I am loving your videos and the tiny whisk and little glass bowls are too cute! I use acrylic paint to stencil on polymer clay, but the luminosity of your work is really tempting me to learn to actually paint with acrylic.
I wish you the best of luck with your process. I am happy using acrylics and I am sure you will have a good time painting. I do not know much about the process using stencils but, patience will be a good partner for you painting.😉
Very helpful for us beginners! Your style is not my style, but I appreciate the principles behind your approach to the painting. Looking forward to more!
Hello Thank you very much for your comment. No, we all paint differently ... fortunately ... the important thing is that you paint the paintings you think you should paint.
Thank you so much for simplifying the the way of thinking about colors. Finding brushes and some alternatives to the best “Golden” is also helpful. Organizing the studio, having a floor easel and a table one took my attention, I love the way you clip your towel at the corner of the table. I could go one and one more of your teaching that are impressive precise in your message. Your paintings are amazing and cohesive, coherent with a great artist you are. Thanks also for your support to the ones like me that really can step forward through your lessons.😊
It is so interesting watching your moves close up. Absolutely love your technique and the end results of all of your paintings! And you are a great teacher!
Hello. I have learned so much from watching your video. Thank you for your detailed explanation from supplies to process. ♥️🙏🏻 greetings from California.
So happy that I found your videos while searching in UA-cam! I love your explanations and tips. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge! Will keep searching for your videos! Love, love your paintings, love the colors and style!
What a treat! I loved the first part of the video where you talked (in wonderful depth!) about your setup and the tips and tricks you've worked out along the way -- and then there was what felt like almost a whole second video where you used those ideas in application! Excellent idea and such a fun video :) Every time I see you've posted something new, I make sure to watch it that day because I love your take on things so much; keep going, the world needs more of this!
Hello. I am very happy for your comment, and glad that you find content and value in my videos. Thank you for your comment. There will be more videos ... Greetings from Denmark
I wish you was my art tutor - in the real! I was enthralled watching this video and got so much value out of it! I love your artwork with the blocks of colour and fine line detail. Thank you so much for all the helpful suggestions and for the painting tutorial at the end.
I DID. I did enjoy this! I actually went to school for art (not painting though) and am hopping back into some stuff where I wanted a refresher and this was just perfect! I also found you very charming as you are humble and your recommendations are experienced based. Thank you!
Thank you. I've oil painted before, but I am only just starting with acrylic. I enjoy the feel of both, but the acrylic is like learning an entirely new language. I really enjoyed your video that helped clear up some questions that I had. I look forward to other videos that you post.
Very informative. I already have all the art supplies. I use acrylic mediums for my artist´s quality acrylics not to dry too soon and high vibrancy of colors.
Love your video and your work. I laughed when you mentioned buying good quality paint only as I have made the mistake in the past buying cheaper paint and quickly realising I wasted my money as they didn’t perform in the same way the good quality paints. Thank you for all your tips. Best wishes to you for the New Year.
Many thanks and best wishes for the coming year to you too. Yes, life is too short for the bad colors. It's not that you can't use them, but good products make life so much easier for you. I wish you luck in your own process. greetings from Denmark
Hello, I enjoyed this video very much. I liked all that you shared about the supplies needed for a beginning acrylic artist. I wish I had this information when I began painting 9 years ago. It was refreshing to hear of the supplies and why they are superior to another. And I also liked the explanation of why you use the canvases and paint brushes you do. Thank you again for presenting your take on beginning acrylic supplies, I think you are right on. Keep it going.
Thanks very much, Mr. Skora. I’m very fortunate to have stumbled upon your site. Wonderful paintings, very helpful lessons, excellent video production and patient, step by step explanation. I already have a feeling that I’m finally on my way to realizing my lifelong dream. Thanks again. 🙏
I just love your style of painting and so inspiring, that i did make a similar one. I also like your videos and the way you explain in detail. Thanks so much for that. I have seen in many videos that one should spray the final painting with Varnish to keep it for longer. Please suggest how and what is the best 'last step' to maintain the art work.
Hi I don't varnish all my paintings, but it's a good idea to do so. Whether you spray or paint with, for example, Golden Polymer Varvish (Satin), is just as well. But as I said, I don't always do it myself. It is connected to the fact that I paint my pictures right up until they go out the door and are sold. If you paint in regular layers, you don't have to do it, but if you use very thin layers, I always varnish the painting myself.
Hello, It was great to hear that I might have helped open up an abstract universe for you. I'm a little proud of that. Thank you for your very kind comment. Good luck with your painting process, 'Greetings from Denmark
Hi and thank you. I have not scheduled any online classes. It is also the case that I take quite a lot of time to paint a painting, so it would be a very long class. But thanks for your idea, I will think about how I might use it in the future.
i only have a small set of golden ,i know many use these ,i have many acrylics and watercolors ,i have cheaper and more pricey ones ,i paint every day and have for most of my past 28 years ,i create for the joy of art ,thank you for this ,my new favorite is heavy body meeden they came in huge 1 liter tubs ,i love them but not sure how to use them, im used to thinner paints, very good colors.i am very happy with them ,my matte acrylics are not as pleasing to my eyes these new meedens have a sheen i love them
Hi It's great that you paint because you get pleasure from it. It is the most important. I prefer the best and unfortunately also the most expensive qualities because it's more fun for me. I don't know the brand: MEEDEN, but I will test it the next time I see it. By using different media in the acrylic, you can give it just the surface you want. Good luck with your process.
I loved it awesome artistry God bless you so talented, thank you for your tutorial,,, art is in your heart just like my heart, love all kinds 9f art Zoe
So appreciate your content. Helpful tips for acrylics, Thank you. Now retired, the tight realism from my past just isn’t enjoyable or even interesting to me. Can’t hold a steady brush either, so abstract has been the way to go. Playing with various Golden mediums these days for impasto styles.
Thank you. Fortunately, I have a very steady hand, but sometimes I use a long drumstick to rest my hand on. I found this link. Maybe this is something you can use: outlinesart.com/articles/howto-steady-painting-hand/. Good luck.
@@skora-theoldguy thank you for the very thoughtful link. I’ve used a maul stick and an artists bridge in the past. I have essential tremors which have worsened with age (got me early retirement), so incorporating the very rhythmic tremors in my work is my new goal.
I love the way you simplify the explanation, and watching you paint is comforting. To be honest acrylic terrifies me, I feel intimidated that they dry fast, on canvas and on my brushes. In fact I wash my brushes several times while painting, because of fear there will be paint starting to dry up inside the brush hairs, which may damage the brush. It makes the experience rather stressful and rushed. Do you have advice?
There is a medium for acrylics manufactured by a number of companies but for example, Liquitex makes one called SLOW-DRI Additive. It takes longer to dry without diluting the colour. The way you describe your feelings towards it maybe you'd be better off painting with oils because this problem doesn't really exist. At least try it for yourself and then decide. Get the 3 primary colours and titanium white and see what you think.
Hi and thank you for your kind comment. I agree about the Retarder solution. Be carefull however not too much. I have really no problem with painting drying inside the brushes. I have a bucket of water and when I'm not using the brush I just leave it in the water. When I need to use it again, I rinse it in the water, pick it up, dry it on the towel as I show in the video, moisten it again and dry it ... and maybe one more time if it's very dirty. Then it's ready! When I finish painting for the day. I wash all the brushes in soap, and quite a bit of paint actually comes out. Finally, there is the fact that the brushes are quickly worn on the canvas when painting acrylic. Therefore, the problem never gets to be particularly bothersome to me. Change the brushes often. Good luck.
I have found ordinary, cheap hand sanitiser is very good for getting even rather hard acrylic out of brushes. Just stand brush in the sanitiser for 10 minutes or so then wash in warm soapy (dish soap works, I use Fairy liquid but I'm sure any would do) water. Repeat if needed. I have rescued some very far gone brushes with this. Hope that helps.
Enjoyed watching this video thoroughly, Sir! I have always liked to understand - however little - what goes on in an artist's mind as they paint and your explanation helped a bit. I am sure there are many choices of shape and colour use that cannot be explained, but only experienced by the artist. Thank you for the tips. Have been eager to start with acrylic - never went to formal art school, so having someone explain what is useful, always helps. Good wishes from india.
Wonderful tips you've provided here Henrik, so thank you for that. However, I wish you had shared your favorite varnish or sealant. Cheers from sunny FL.
Hello. Thank you. I will consider to make a video about that, and I go into that thing. Actually I not always varnish my paintings ... it depends. I am glad of your suggestion.Thank you.
Very nice! I liked the painting before you gave it that kaleidoscope effect but the finished work was indeed very nice. I imagine that kaleidoscope effect is your signature style. Loved the video.
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, that's how it is. I like the slightly flickering effect in my paintings. I get the same experience when I see nature, but I paint that experience through my own temperament. The important thing for me is not to show nature itself, many others are doing that just fine, but rather the experience, and ultimately the painting is what is important to me, and to find what is needed to paint what in my view is a good painting that .
Thank you. Cleaning brusches are often only done in water, but sometime also some kind of soap. Handsoap is good. I found this on the net ... looks interesting: www.artsupplies.co.uk/blog/how-to-clean-acrylic-paint-brushes/
I'm an 80yrs old portrait artist. I've moved into senior housing and can not use oils anymore. I'll give acrylics a try

I have learnt so much from watching you and listening to you I feel I was lost in a maze of confusion and you have gone ahead of me dropping rose petals to guide me out of the maze to free up my mark making, thank you, thank you, thank you,x
Thank you. I am glad my videos were helpfull.
Quel travail minutieux. C'est très original et frais....merci pour tous vos conseils.
Tah pour ton commentaire. Je suis heureux que vous ayez trouvé de la valeur dans la vidéo.
Thank you. This video was so helpful. Your color combinations are terrific, as is your style. So glad there are more videos of yours to watch!
Happy to help. Thank you.
Thank you! This is very unique and interesting. May God bless you more!
Thank you.
Thank you for your kind comment.
Thank you so much for talking to us about your process - it is so helpful.
Thank you, I am very happy that you have benefited from watching my video. Good luck painting.
Felt privileged to learn from you through this comprehensive, yet concise introduction. THANK YOU !
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I'm glad you found the introduction comprehensive. It's my goal to provide valuable content to my viewers. Thank yuou for watching.
Thank you for a very informative and instructional video.
You are very welcome.
Wonderful you are so informative.
Thank you for your kind comment.
Love this painting. Beautiful!!!!
Thank you. I am happy to know that you enjoyed this video.
Very good video, you explain clearly and can summarize the information well.🙂
To counteract the brushes working down, it helps me to prime a canvas again with Gesso, even if it has already been pre-primed, and sand it smooth.
If I were to sand it straight away, I might remove too much Gesso and the colors would sink even more into the canvas.
I hope the tip helps.
I have a small addition to the paints, Amsterdam is a brand from the manufacturer Talens and is also a studio/student paint and belongs in the list. Vajello is a paint manufacturer and not a studio/student quality brand, Vajello has two acrylic paint brands AV Acrylic Artist and AV Acrylic Studio,
the latter of which is the studio variant.
Thank you very much for your kind comment. I'm doing the best I can and I'm glad you got value out of watching the videos.
Greetings from
Denmark
Thank you. Your work is beautiful.
Thank you.
❤🎉Thank you. Love and respect from India 🇮🇳🙏🌟
Wow India ... a long way from here.
Thank you ... love and respect right back to you.
I stopped drawing for almost twenty years because I focused on working hard to earn a retirement fund.
Your teaching is superb!👍 Appreciation from Taiwan!! This is exactly what I was looking for. You're an excellent instructor, and your guidance is just what I needed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and inspiring me!"❤
Thank you. I'm glad you got value in my videos.
Good luck with your return to painting.
Hello,
It was great to hear, Thank you for your very kind comment. I like to cook a lot, so ... well, I think I'm an OK cook.
It is very important that you can work every day. You get a lot better from it.
Nice that we share the enthusiasm for Paine's Grey.
Good luck with your painting process,
'Greetings from Denmark
You’re so cute- your voice, accent, words, and sincere advice and instruction!
Oh thank you!
I really enjoyed your video. You gave a lot of wonderful information. Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching.
Thank you so much for your instructions. They are very helpful to me as I just started painting some months ago. I like your very clear and calm type of speaking. It gives me self-conscience and encouragement. I am happy to watch your other videos. Greetings from Germany.
You are so welcome!
Thank your for your good ideas. I use this paper in wet palettes sometimes.
Thanks for your nice tip with ... corrugated cardboard,, I will try that. I used to paint a lot on cardboard, but not so much anymore.
GOD BLESS YOU. THANK YOU.
You too!
Well, thank you for this!
So thrilled to have found your channel today.
Fantastic, concise teaching.
Thank you for your very kind comment.
Thank you, and thank you for helping me giving feedback on how to make my videos better.
Greetings from Denmark
I am loving your videos and the tiny whisk and little glass bowls are too cute! I use acrylic paint to stencil on polymer clay, but the luminosity of your work is really tempting me to learn to actually paint with acrylic.
I wish you the best of luck with your process. I am happy using acrylics and I am sure you will have a good time painting. I do not know much about the process using stencils but, patience will be a good partner for you painting.😉
Great to see your work sir n thanx for lots tips with do n don't , enjoyed it thoroughly sir , i use water colour for my work , charcoal for portraits
Thank you.
Your work process sounds interesting.
Loved the video. You are an inspiration and might make me pick up the brushes again
Yes, ... find your brushes. No matter what level you paint at, it gives you a lot of joy in everyday life. So ... enjoy.
Very helpful for us beginners! Your style is not my style, but I appreciate the principles behind your approach to the painting. Looking forward to more!
Hello
Thank you very much for your comment. No, we all paint differently ... fortunately ... the important thing is that you paint the paintings you think you should paint.
Thank you SO much you are a great teacher! Explaining things I had always wondered about! Thank you!
Thank you. Glad you find value in my videos.
Greetings from Denmark
I love modern art/abstract art and greatly enjoyed this video.
I am glad to hear that,. Thank you for watching.
❤️❤️❤️ love the painting and all your tips and the basic colors to begin with.
You are welcome.👍
Thank you so much for simplifying the the way of thinking about colors. Finding brushes and some alternatives to the best “Golden” is also helpful. Organizing the studio, having a floor easel and a table one took my attention, I love the way you clip your towel at the corner of the table. I could go one and one more of your teaching that are impressive precise in your message. Your paintings are amazing and cohesive, coherent with a great artist you are. Thanks also for your support to the ones like me that really can step forward through your lessons.😊
Thank you ... you are so kind. I wish you good luck with your painting.
Thank you sir for.one of the most interesting and informative videos I have ever see I wish you and yours well
Thank you ... "most interesting " ... wow ... I am flattered!

Thank you very much for your comment. Glad you found my channel.

Beautiful pieces you have done. Your phenomenal!!
Thank you ... phenomenal ... ? Arh ... I don't know about that, but thanks anyway.
I wish you was my art tutor - in the real! I was enthralled watching this video and got so much value out of it! I love your artwork with the blocks of colour and fine line detail. Thank you so much for all the helpful suggestions and for the painting tutorial at the end.
Hi Simone
Thank you for your very kind comment. I am glad that I was able to help you.
Thank you for watching.
Brilliant! Thank you for the time you took to share all this wonderful and I believe necessary information to become a true artist. Many thanks again.
You are very welcome. I'm glad you liked my video. Thank you for watching.
Thank you for the wonderful videos. I enjoy them so much.
Hi Susan
Thank you for your comment. It means a lot to me.
I DID. I did enjoy this! I actually went to school for art (not painting though) and am hopping back into some stuff where I wanted a refresher and this was just perfect! I also found you very charming as you are humble and your recommendations are experienced based. Thank you!
Hi and thank you for your very kind comment.
Thank you very very much
You are so welcome. Thank you for watching.
Thank you. I've oil painted before, but I am only just starting with acrylic. I enjoy the feel of both, but the acrylic is like learning an entirely new language. I really enjoyed your video that helped clear up some questions that I had. I look forward to other videos that you post.
Thank you ... and I am working on new videos.
i love you painting and the focus on the details, even the frame is perfect foe this art piece! Thank you for creating them!
Hi
You are so welcome.
Very informative. I already have all the art supplies. I use acrylic mediums for my artist´s quality acrylics not to dry too soon and high vibrancy of colors.
Hi. Thank yoy. I use the GOLDEN Acrylic Glazing Liquid (satin) a lot.
Merci beaucoup Monsieur. Bellisima!
Thank you for watching ... et merci!
Hi Darlene
Thank you very much for your very kind comment.
Yes, there will be more videos ... but I also need to spend a little time on painting.😜
Love the tips and the painting demo. Thank you.
You are very welcome. Kind reg. Henrik
Good luck painting.
Hi
I don't varnish all my paintings, but it's a good idea to do so.
Wonderfull video, thank you for sharing!
You are very welcome.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with your viewers. So many great tips, I will put what I learned from you into practice 👏🏻
Hi
It was great to hear, Thank you for your very kind comment.
Good luck with your painting process,
'Greetings from Denmark
Wow. That was really nice. I like the painting very much. I didn't think I liked abstract art until I saw your work.
Very Inspiring.
Thank You.
Hello,
It was great to hear that I might have helped open up an abstract universe for you. I'm a little proud of that.
Thank you for your very kind comment.
Good luck with your painting process,
'Greetings from Denmark
Tks for the video. Wonderful job!
👍
I love your art. When will you have an online class from start to finish how to paint a painting with acrylics?
Hi and thank you.
I have not scheduled any online classes. It is also the case that I take quite a lot of time to paint a painting, so it would be a very long class.
But thanks for your idea, I will think about how I might use it in the future.
@@skora-theoldguy Thank you. Meanwhile I like your videos.
This video was wonderful, love the way you paint. Thank you for sharing your talent.🇨🇦
Thank you for watching.
i only have a small set of golden ,i know many use these ,i have many acrylics and watercolors ,i have cheaper and more pricey ones ,i paint every day and have for most of my past 28 years ,i create for the joy of art ,thank you for this ,my new favorite is heavy body meeden they came in huge 1 liter tubs ,i love them but not sure how to use them, im used to thinner paints, very good colors.i am very happy with them ,my matte acrylics are not as pleasing to my eyes these new meedens have a sheen i love them
Hi
It's great that you paint because you get pleasure from it. It is the most important. I prefer the best and unfortunately also the most expensive qualities because it's more fun for me.
I don't know the brand: MEEDEN, but I will test it the next time I see it.
By using different media in the acrylic, you can give it just the surface you want.
Good luck with your process.
Very informative. Beautiful painting!👍
Thank you for watching.
I loved it awesome artistry God bless you so talented, thank you for your tutorial,,, art is in your heart just like my heart, love all kinds 9f art Zoe
Thank you for this very kind comment. Greetings from Denmark.
Thankyou. Great help.
You are so welcome.
We need to see more videos from you old guy❣️
Ha, ha ... thank you ... I am working on it!
Hello, vamos a ver como me va😅 muchas gracias 🌷
Hi. and gracias back to you.
Hi to India.
Thank you. What goes on in my brain when I paint I do no understand myself, so if you find out ... please tell me ... Ha, ha ...
Your videos are just mesmerizing! Congrats!
Thank you for your kind comment.
Very. Useful 👍
😜
Good video ! Thank you and a happy and healthy new year sir.
An a happy new year to you too ... better late than never!
Educational. And beautiful painting!
Thank you!!
So enjoyed your process and style! Many Txz! Jeanne
Thank you very much for your answer. I'm glad you found value in my video.
Thank you so much your demo is wonderful really inspiring can you remind me of the brush cleaner you use thank you
Thank you.
Cleaning brusches are often only done in water, but sometime also some kind of soap. Handsoap is good.
I found this on the net ... looks interesting:

😊Very, very nice video. Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!
