Hi Capt. Valerie! Such a great feeling, your first GA flight and in a Baron - that’s just icing on the cake! My first was in the Summer of 1976 in a Cessna 150 and I soloed in October of that year. I think I had the same look Danny did. Looking forward to part 2 !!!

Excellent. Checklists and the multitude of panel gauges and screens can sometimes be overwhelming for someone that is experiencing their first GA flight. Having your passenger follow along on the run-up and other procedures is a great teaching moment. I still remember my first twin experience at age 13 in a PA-23 (on a soft field) and that was 5 decades ago. Thanks for the video.

It’s so sad that the insatiable greed in the aviation industry is killing general aviation. Gone are the days that your average person can go out and get a private pilot’s license without having to take out a $15,000-$20,000 loan just to get their basic training.
