    I popped mine off, it bent, got a new one with seal, tried fitting it, bent it (very costly mistake) 18 months later just got another with seal from BMW and asked my garage to fit it, they said no bother, they popped the trim off, said they needed a special tool to get it back on, trim was slightly bent, awesome! Thanks for this vid, I’ll try sort it myself again now!

    So, I dunno if anyone said this in the comments anywhere, but if you pop the door card off and take the mirror off, you can easily pull that all off there and put it back on super easily.

    I done this the other day but left the door n bottom rear window trim in chrome n it actually looks ok as I have M3 wheels n it sort of fits, people have commented m said they like it so might just leave it lol

    👍🏻 I’ve always looked at that trim and wondered how it come off.
    I was surprised how easy they slid back in was expecting them to bend 😮
    Totally transforms the car top job

    • @ZeroTo60Tube
      @ZeroTo60Tube  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah i was surprised too. Most important thing is to not bend them when you take them off. Heaps of lube when -refitting and its a breeze.

      @@ZeroTo60Tube I’d probably of bent them taking them off 😂

    Excellent. I already have the shadow trims but looking to respray my car soon. Now I know how they come off! Top video.

    • @ZeroTo60Tube
      @ZeroTo60Tube  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah, its really not too bad to get them off. Requires quite a lot of force but once they start moving its easy. You do have to be careful not to bend them when removing, as they will make the refitting much harder./

      Thanks for this videos, it really helps ??????? Well i will also say this here, for me i still find cryptocurrency very important mostly when it comes to bitcoin trading due to the fact that bitcoin is still very bullish. I so much advise everyone to get involved in day trading so as to grow the little we can afford with a working strategy/daily signals, However its been of massive success for me because i have been trading with Mr Nicholas strategy/daily signals with a proper guides in day trading for over 6 months now. During my first 5 weeks of trading with Mr Nicholas daily signals i was able to accumulate and grow my portfolio from 1.1btc to 6.8btc which you would agree is a very good profits. I will kindly advise we should grow the little we hold ahead of the major bull run, Myron can be reach via instagram (@nicholas__fxtrade) for inquiries into profitable trading systems.......

    Good info. A couple thoughts: Using spray silicone instead of spray wax. Using a plastic trim tool instead of a screwdriver.

    Nice one, did not know it was this easy!
    I plasti-dipped my trim while it was on the car. Quite impressed with Plasti Dip for this purpose. Cheap and did the job. Takes the risk and fear out of paiting it.

    I don't understand why you guys call these cars E90, and all the other numbers you use to identify the car. Why not just call it what it says on the back like 530i, or 320i etc.???

    • @ZeroTo60Tube
      @ZeroTo60Tube  4 роки тому

      E90 is the chassis code. So everything in this is video relevant to the e90 chassis code. The number on the back "325i" could be an e90, e91, e92 or e93. It would not make sense to call it a 325i when this trim swap is specifically on the e90 models. Just imagine how angry people would be if it said 325i in the title, it would waste heaps of peoples time who have a e92 325i, or even worse cause them to damage their vehicle, because a e92 325i trim is removed differently to this.
