After the success of my 1190 headlight bracket (which I sold a few at cost and now I'm just sending the plans for free so people can make their own), I have decided to sell my new T700 bracket which is a combined anti-shake mount for the T7 instrument cluster and phone/GPS mount. This bracket adopts a 25mm diameter bar so you can use a standard handlebar mount without needing a special mirror mount (or other small diameter bar clamp). Perfect for a quadlock handlebar mount system.

And before you tell me there is a better way to sell stuff, just remember I am going to be very small volume. Im not planning on being a store. I made one invention for the 1190, now Ive got one for the T7. My next invention will be in 20 years time for my 2041 model Ural sidecar.

That's a really great idea. Can't imagine how or why they made a dashboard that rattled and moved like that though.
Rubber mounted.... but rubbers were just a bit big!
Hope those welds dont break ! as a welder myself i would weld it both sides of the tube. but then again maybe i am overengineering things. keep up the great work love the channel !

I'm going to purchase a T700 (thank you for your comment reply a few days ago - it helped with my decision). And this bracket is brilliant. But you had me a stickers. :) If I'm out in the mountains, crash and get trapped under the bike and then eaten by a bear, however, I will curse your name. Thanks again for your videos.

@@Nerb1 hehehe l think the bikes weight lies with the rider in my case.
I'd probably make the tube/bar a bit longer so it's as wide as the original between the plastic.
Edit: But the phone covers it pretty good...

I wonder why Yammie didn’t brace it like that? Sometime stiffness isn’t your friend - it might transfer stresses elsewhere. But well done for your ingenuity.

I’ve got your super mount fitted, works well. I’m likely to upgrade from HEMA maps on a phone and quad lock to a Garman Zumo XT and if you have a moment, I’m not sure about the best mount bracket etc for that GPS to the Supermount. I think my options are the Touratech lockable mount or a ram mount, do you have any other suggestions, thoughts or advice?

The zumo usually attaches with a ram ball mount, so you would have something like this:

But I think that would stick out too far. I think you would be better with something like:

Perun Moto also have one, but it says 28.6mm bars, so you would need a 2mm thick rubber to grip a 25mm bar. Torimoto here in Vic imports Perun Moto stuff:

Im sure there are more options around, but thats the type of thing you are looking for... a low profile mount with the AMPS bolt pattern.
The speedo and headlight move as one. Just not sure. These types of brackets may create other issues due not allowing flexibility within the securing points of the headlight and speedo. I'm assuming the headlight and speedo are rubber mounted hence the movement.
They are rubber and still are. The cluster just has some excessive movement imo. My bracket doesnt touch the headlight mounts at all.
I dont think its an issue, but easier not to do anything if it concerns you.

Nerb, may I ask you which tie-down points you use on your mosko moto r80? I too have a high exhaust and no racks, and I’m finding it hard. Also, which notch on the r80 do you use? Many thanks!
send me an email and I'll send you a photo. I removed the passenger pegs and made up little brackets that bolt to that spot.
@@Nerb1 Thank you, if you connected to the passenger pegs thats enough information. On the pipe side the pipe rundt too close to the peg, so secured it to the frame next to the engine. Again, thanks :)

Ebay purchase, 37 bucks the pair, supposed to be 36W each... they have NOTHING on the Rigid Industries SRQ's that i had on the 1190.
They work and are ok. I may have been spoiled by the RI pair. I should have kept them and not sold them with the bike :(

@@Nerb1 no I wish out my price range. My 1190 not sell with "hightmiles" only get $9.198.06 for it private. Cam chain now needing replacing it make whird noises on Saturday. Said oil was low I check lot oil left got me home I was 90 miles away when happoned. U lucky not spare bikes here for egeine swap.
