You may not believe me....but I would offer up my '99 TDM 850 against this for sound. That's with just a Delkevic with the baffle in. It's rather naughty.
It's really unbelievable that this engine got made, and yet some companies (cough, Kawasaki, cough) did not immediately switch to 270-degree cranks on parallel twins. Like, if I had a Ninja 650 I'd be looking to split the cases and cut the crank up and do whatever it takes to ditch the sewing machine and get this gnarly sound the CP2 Yamahas have.
Thank you for your upload. I owned xt 660 r 2004 and I sold it 10 years ago. This video brings me the chills and excitement I had long ago and I dream that one day I will be able to own Yamaha enduro once again, hopefully Tenere. Such a great video

Sounds a bit similar to my father's old yamaha rx on the high rpms and on those crackles. Brought back lots of good memories. Keep it up, brother. Love from Bangladesh.

Fantastic video! I'm having such a tough time deciding on an exhaust for this bike. I'm going to ride offroad with it a lot as well. I'm in California(so I can't do a cat delete).
Great vlog as per usual. Those CP2 motors are just wonderful. Did not realize Austria is difficult for legal off roading. I know land is getting scarce throughout Europe, but France, Spain and the UK still have some legal decent areas, as does Skandinavia and Eastern Europe.

Good video at about 3:28 I noticed that the camera was hit with a bug (totally normal under the circumstances) ... after a little bit the bug traces on the camera lens were cleaned due to the air displacement drag on the aforementioned lens :) ... and the image returned to normal :) ... Good :)
I think the stock sound is decent enough. It does make me chuckle (you excluded) when a tuber justifies a $500 exhaust as a 5 lbs weight savings when they themselves could easily shed 70 lbs 😂.
Hi Schaaf, great sound quality and video as ever. I'm with you on the exhaust , I have been looking at aftermarket exhausts for my T7 but I really like the sound of the standard pipe...anything much louder would be annoying for off road! . And on the standard Pirelli's it handles brilliantly on the twisties...especially with the excellent MT07 engine. Love it! I've resprayed it in the colours of the Sonauto Dakar Tenere's with gold wheels ..looks great! Cheers, Steve
This? Annoying? To each his own but a lot of gear heads would appreciate this level of noise. Yeah too much can be annoying but this one is just about right. Stock is just too darn quiet, might as well be an electric bike.
I guess the front frk has "only" the Ohlins cartridge, wich is amazing by the way (and expensive). The rear shock it is a brand new unit, also expensive. Those will be for sure a top upgrade. Again, nice ride. (I like Zard´s exhausts) :-) Cheers.

Do you have an external mic directly at the exhaust? This is WITH dB-Eater? With EU Number? Unbelievable sound if so, requires a bit of tuneup on the dyno as it sounds.

Happy new year guy! I determined for Tracer 700 since months but I see that t7 does the road job fairly good (with better wind protection) plus off road paths (mountain trips, beaches in Crete) with only 1.500€ more! Should I go for it? I am 28 and coming from another category, cb400!
Der Rundgang am Ende hat mir sehr gefallen! Da die T7 ja generell ein Bike zu sein scheint, dass sich viele noch modden, ist es eben mal ganz interessant zu sehen, was andere so dran pappen. Die Taschen tragen zB. gar nicht so auf. Auch die Tankhalterung ist mir aufgefallen. Wenn du auf solche Sachen auch noch eingehst, haste bald nen kleines Testvideo/ Kaufberatung abgedreht ... ;) Da das Auge ja mitfährt ... sehr schön! :)
Zard and HP Corse exhausts are still the best. I bought the Zard one and it is so great. HP Corse could be a very little bit nicer but they bouth are so far away from all others. T7 is great 8)
Not sure what you were using and or how you were using it for the audio, but I think a lot of people advertising exhaust on you tube should have you show them how. Not 100 % positive, but I don't think zard has come out with anything for the 2020 and up honda africa twin 1100 yet. I do know for a fact that fuel exhaust has started making them for the AT. They sound pretty aggressive as well. I was looking online at zard and they seem to be pretty pricey

Das Bike kommt frisch aus der Umbau-Werkstatt und ich hab es danach für eine Stunde bewegt. Den Ersatzschlüssel darf dann der tatsächliche Besitzer wegmachen. Sooo genau nehme ich es dann doch nicht mit dem Leistungsgewicht ;)

I have seen japanese youtuber using akrapovic pipe without db killer, it sounds perfect to me, perhaps you need to try that one out? Since standart pipe sound terrible to me

Similar. The XSR is way too soft. The T7 is firmer but due to its long suspension travel I felt equally uneasy on tarmac

It's perfectly fine for road riding but more so for offroading. This bike is a waste on the road

Ja, darf nicht lauter. Ist aber trotzdem wesentlich lauter. Bei einer Lärmmessung hast du damit keine Chance
