Well done! The use of the plumb lines hung at intervals in the tunnel to keep things straight and aligned was most fascinating, using the towers as guides. Very advanced and creative engineers back in the day!

Hobo Shoestring's trip through this tunnel brought me to this documentary

Because of the annoying and totally unnecessary background music.

Does anyone know how to find the Notch Road Tower remnants? I live on Notch road and never knew about this til I watched this video. (New to Massachusetts). I just drove all the way to the summit trying to spot it. No luck. Help? Thanks. Love the videos.

You're really close! To get to the remnants, you need to hike up the trail (W. Mountain Road) at the base of Notch reservoir. A little less than 3/4 of a mile up, as the road continues to wrap around the mountain, look up toward the left and you should be able to spot it! The only time I've been there is when I videoed for this documentary, but I didn't have any issues finding it.

The viewer probably clicked on the wrong button. I agree this is great.
