u are absolutely right. Ground clearance is enough, no one use full boot space l but rear space is very important. Rear space of XUC 300 is best and due to width 3 person can easily sit. So XUV 300 is far better. Safety wise XUV 300 is winner, rear space wise XUV 300 is winner, torque wise XUV 300 is winner. Overall XUV 300 is winner in compact suv segment.
I have driven KIA Seltos, Ecosport, 300, Scross, Venue, MG Hector - except Eco sport engine and VW no other can match the performance. Kia and Hyundai are feature oriented cars, Mahindra, Ford, VW are engine oriented. Never fall for feautres, after 1 year you are not concentrating on Speakers they can always be changed, how will you change performance, safety, and economy? Stop being fooled, extra accessories are always available off market at better rates.

दोस्तों ज़रूर kia की ये गाड़ी sonet आपको बहुत लुभावनी लग रही है और क्यों ना लगे १३ लाख में बहुत फ़ीचर kia आपको ऑफ़र कर रही है लेकिन क्या यही सचाई है अगर नहीं तो कैसे
Kia ने अपनी GT लाइन के नीचे के models में लुभावने features तो कई दिए है मगर सुरक्षा विशेषताओं को अनदेखा किया है इसमें बुनियादी सुरक्षा उपकरण और features नहीं है जैसे ESP, CSC, Traction control और hill road assit या roll over mitigation, VSM जो इस तरह की ऊँची गाड़ी के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है और इनको बहुत ज़रूरी है!
ख़रीदने से पहले सोचे ये गाड़ी कितनी सुरक्षित है क्या ये भारतीय रोड के हिसाब से सुरक्षित है!!
इसी कारण से GNACP ये गाड़ी का टेस्ट नहीं हो रहा है !
अभी भी कुछ बेवक़ूफ़ शायद ये comments करेंगे कि आप GT लाइन ले लो मगर ये बताओ कि why comany create those unsafe models.

We rarely use full boot space and it's ground clearance is too much for Indian roads
Extra ground clearance not good for cars because car would not be stable while you cut the edge on high speed.

By looking at both the cars side by side, I feel XUV 300 wins automatically, it is actually looking like a SUV while Sonet looking like a hatchback.

Not only Sonet looks like hatch back, the rear seat is practically similar to hatchback... Very less shoulder & leg Room in Sonet. After careful and deep deliberation I chose XUV3oo... Looks are subjective.
XUV 300 is still the better option. No body wants to sleep in bigger boot space. Be practical while buying a 10lakhs wali car. Find the better front and back seat comfirt.

It depends on how many persons travel everyday in that car, if its 4 then go for XUV300, if its just 2 and likes to go for long drives with your luggage then its Sonet. Considering better boot space, ventilated seats, etc....

Sonet rear seat space is too less. Even if we assume 2 people sit very minimal leg space and if we have a travel of just 1 hour it would be very uncomfortable !.

The only disappointing thing In Sonet which I feel is that HTX and HTX plus doesn't have Electronic stability program (ESP). When someone is paying 12-13 Lakhs, it's a hygiene safety feature to have.

Rear leg space over boot space anyday. Honestly ask yourself, how many times have you used the entire 400 litres of bootspace? surely not on many days. Plus xuv 300 handles REALLY well, the car is way more planted on the road and the confidence you get at 100km/h in the xuv is unmatched. Steering wheel is amazing. I am a happy owner of one and i will suggest you not to fall for features. Go for performance, handling, safety and leg space over tech features.

Sonet ka GT line ke alawa baki sab me alto level ka safety hai. No ESP, roll over mitigation, hill assist etc. 13 lacs me alto wali safety. Nexon is best. Waiting for Tata to launch clutch less manual.

Mere pass xuv 300 w6 diesel hai aur gadi ke related ek query hai jo aap bata sakte ho. Running me gear change karte waqt cluse press karte hi rpm increase hoke kam hota hai. Maine showroom walon ko bhi dikhaya lekin wo bolte hai ki sab gadiyon me waise hi hai. Last month me hi purchase ki hai aur running 2000km hui hai.
Please suggest karo kya kar sakte hai.

I am using XUV300 AMT diesel since 13 Oct 2020.. milage is 15 kmpl on highways and 13 in cities
@@rahulkulkarni6060 Every one don't buy diesel. Now petrol engine is sold more . And XUV 300 petrol mileage is around 9 to 11 in city and hardly 13 to 14 on highway that's the reason XUV 300 sales are too low. And in diesel only it is giving so less mileage forget about petrol.

Well I tried venue, sonnet, brezza, xuv and scross. My father drives an ecosport diesel, so definitely I have thing fascination for torquee diesel engines, when I drove the xuv I made up my mind right then and there, this is my car, the surge you get after 1500 rpm is very very addictive, I didn't care for features that much cause I hardly use them, so I went for the w6 variant. I even had a drag race with my father's ecosport diesel vs my xuv 300 diesel. And guess what xuv wins. If you are a keen driver who really likes driving go for xuv aankh bandh karke

8-10 day road trip of 4-5 ppl with good luggage space? - NO
B2B Traffic, smooth comfy AT drive? - NO
Rocky, Off-road conditions with 180mm ground clearance? - NO
No car in this segment is for all conditions, it all depends which requirements from ppl 2 ppl.
But Thar instead.
Drove all the options in this segment and felt XUV 300's engine is the best. And btw it's 1.2 ltr turbo and not 1 ltr. I really dont care about the boot pace as its not on my priority. So buying the 300 petrol manual.

For a car , the main part is it's Engine performance, durability and Maintenance, safety and build quality and space and comfort.
For me , Voice command , sunroof, Follow me headlamps, ventilated seats, Bose speakers etc are not the must haves.
