I'm still holding out for the E cruiser bike.
Most of them are not comparable to motorcycles, but are mopeds. Comparable to 50 to 125 cc petrol equivalents. Only the Zero SR and SR/S are powerfull motorcycles, comparable to 800 to 1000 cc bikes.
Give me the Zero FX at 6-7K or tripple the range. I've ridden one and it's a blast but 40-60 miles doesn't cut it. It's just a toy with that range or city commuter. I'd love to see a hybrid bike developed too.
The DS(R) is the big brother of the FX. 200 km range. Wait 1 or 2 years and they'll be 6-7K second hand.

The Zero SR/S is a sportstourer. Alrendo TS Bravo and Livewire One (previous HD Livewire) are cruisers.

Most of these is vaporware, at least in germany. I'm missing the BMW CE04 which is really available now.

I just got into biking and if this is the future I'm done I'm done I quit I got me a Honda v Star 250 but if this is the future I don't want to be a biker

Over-priced bikes and limited range are holding me back.
I was looking at the Sondor as a city bike. Sondor completly missed the mark with its 14.5kw instead of 11kw. Doomed to fail, if you ask me.
Yep they have to set fair prices for they products otherwise people would keep choosing petrol bikes .
Nice bikes but my Kaabo King GT stand up scooter is a beast which I can ride almost anywhere. 62mph / 55 mile range

You know only 4 of these are actually made, right? And two of *them* aren't street legal? Try looking at Energica.
Whoever designed most of these has never even seen a motorcycle by the looks of it. The Zero's were the closest but the sports version looked horrible.

Apart from the Zero's you can tell the bikes design doesn't come from a motorcycle manufacturer slant. Strange economics with style over function. For example the Sondors looks space age but there's no 'tank' for the rider to gain purchase with their knees. Would I want to be doing 120kms down the highway in that? Hell no.
its just marketing, they mentioned, that it ll not be empty space, but storage box (just probably looks strange:-)

Well for money range and speed the Sondors Metacycle is the best as you don't need an app that when no connection would be a problem so the Zeros are no good as in cost over three times the cost of the Sondors and only 23MPH faster. Now the others are about the same range and power of an electric bicycle same top speed and more expensive so pointless. Clear winner is the Sondors Metacycle as I would buy one if would cost the same price as in America.
I think Zero is the only one that looks like motorcycle,rest of them have no soul.Lets hope hydrogen will kick in cause all this electric fun no good.If i wanna ride motorcycle that looks like moped i will get a moped.
Correct about the Zero. Hydrogen is also electric, via a fuelcell. Would you want a tank with 350 bar explosive gas between your legs?

The specs of most of these bikes are simply not realistic. Per 100 km of real life mixed use you need about 10 KW of battery capacity.
Simply not true. Checkout Yatri P1. I own it. It gives me 90KM on mixed city usage on 3kwh.

Thats how many wats are needed for sustaining highway speed.
Then its not exactly rocket science, to calculate range from the kWh spec of battery.
