Street Photography in New York City - Part I with the Canon R5 and RF Lenses.

Want to watch someone fall in love with a city? Well, you're about to.
I've never been to NYC before, I've seen it from a distance, but I've never put feet on the street. What happened once I was inside of its deep steel canyons was nothing short of magical. I mean, wow, this place has all an artist could desire - action, life, culture, momentum - everything I've missed for over a decade now. This was like a sweet home-coming to a place I've never been. In short, it was Street Photography bliss.
We came prepared, too! We've got the Canon EOS R5, the 24-105mm f/4.0, 16mm f/2.8, 35mm f/1.8, and of course the champion of lenses, the 85mm f/1.2 RF. The wider focal length lenses shined on this trip. There's just so much to see that the wide field of view lenses really had a chance to shine.
Anyway, enough chattin'. Let's go!

For street photography 35mm is nice. Lighter lens makes also handling camera much faster, than like 800gram lens.

Great walk around and photos. I think those screw heads are called sidewalk bolts. Here's a description, "Stainless steel Sidewalk Bolts are often referred to as Hurricane Bolts because their most common application is installing hurricane shutters. A hurricane bolt is also referred to as a Sidewalk Bolt because of its ultra low-profile head which can be easily stepped on or rolled over. They are often used with concrete anchors to attach materials and fixtures to masonry surfaces. "
