I have 2 Lumix G7s but will not be doing this conversion. I like them as is. However, you might want to do your walk about videos with a camera with IBIS, as you walk around, it's hard to watch.

The older cheaper film camera definitely gives off actual old film vibes. So if you were wanting to shoot something to make it look like it was older. Using the cheap older camera is the way to go. But if you want something to look high quality you use the expensive newer camera. But there's something about looking at the older photos that gives it a little bit more charm in my opinion. The film definitely looks more grittier and dirtier than the nice clean this of the digital camera.

For street photography 35mm is nice. Lighter lens makes also handling camera much faster, than like 800gram lens.

What’s your setup with the G7 do you use a kit lens, what other lenses do you have. I want to get rid of my T7 really badly. Would you recommend it over the T7

good vid, but I think you need to chop the vid a bit more, because It's long, but still cool video 📹

It struggles a bit in poor light and the autofocus is not that fast, but if you buy a cheap Panasonic 20mm 1.7, or the 25mm 1.4,used it's not so bad ;)

Hei Benjamin, just bought this camera a week ago, and I've had it before, just love the light feel of it, and I have so many cameras, Fuji XT3.fuji Xt1,fujiXt20 and Olympus Penf and Ricoh 2 and a olymps EPL5 :) But i just love this old camera :)

I still have the same image quality issues with my g7. It is so noisy after 400 iso and the images arent sharpe. I love the handle, suza, and weight but i can not get a great picture of people with the g7. I have tried various lenses. I have better results with the Olympus em10 m3. Before i give up it what tips do you have for the sub par image quality?
