Last week, was at a NO mass at a secular college campus in Bozeman MT (I’m from the liberal Northeast US) and the priest gave a full-throated homily - it is a mortal sin to vote for a candidate bc of a pro abortion stance. Haven’t heard that in my 60 years on the planet. Also, my “Catholic” friend, who i meet with weekly, never heard IVF or contraception is wrong. Father Isaac, pray for my family, because i have a wife and children who have been deceived by the prelates of today’s Catholic Church.

Buy a hard copy of the Catechism of the Council of Trent. I grew up in the NO world and it's critical to understand the only infallible Catechism. It will help your family for you to be able to explain the truth. I'll pray for you, please pray for me.
You need to recite source rather than say statement like this matter of fact without presenting fact. Father here gives solid Catholic guidance. Let this good priest direct the flock, not layperson. Natural order in life.
Where you at?! 😂 love it. I would love to go to confession with him again. The new priests at my parish stopped giving any counsel. Just tell you to say 3 hail Mary's and di your act of contrition. The lines for confession used to be long. Now they are nonexistent. So sad.
I had a priest tell me when I confessed missing mass on a day of obligation ( because I had to work) , I said that I could have gotten up early and went to a NO mass , he said that it was better not to go than to go to the new mass. I drive over an hour to attend the TLM at our tiny SSPX chapel, and it’s worth every mile.
NO is not a Catholic Mass, not a Catholic rite. Does not convey Catholic theology. Like the rest of protestantism in modernism, it is an assault upon the Catholic faith. So yes, that ceremony must be avoided.
Amen. Very important to hear about how the wife is to submit to her husband (in all things but sin). When she submits, even when she doesn't like her husband's final decision on something, she is humbling herself and submitting to God. Glory to Him and His beautiful designs for the family!!
I have heard of several situations where Catholics will be married, but not consummate their marriage, as they choose to remain and have a Josephite marriage. Is this still an option in the church?

I had confession with him when he visited my parish and he changed my whole life and that of my family. Sounds dramatic but it’s true. God Bless him!

That priest is wrong. Missing Mass is indeed a mortal sin, NO or not. Pray that priest repents and stops leading souls to Hell.
