I would drive hours and hours and miles and miles to have Fr.Relyea hear my confession. Hard pressed to find priests like him these days. God bless him and Our Lady keep him always 🙏 ❤
Fr. Reylea, I am 34 y/o, never married, former drug addict (clean for about 6 months, gonna be clean for good/ disgusted with my drug use). I feel I may be called to either the priesthood or the life of a monk. I live in the Appalachian Mountains of NE Tennessee. How can I contact you?
Great episode! ⚔️🛡️Fr. Issac, can we get an episode on how to prepare for most likely upcoming chastisement? How to tell family who is Catholic but isnt aware of what’s coming & friends who are “Christians” but not Catholic and try to convert them .. ie Message of Fatima, & Our Lady of good success. I know Fr. Rippinger has talked some about it.. but would love to hear a video on your take. 🛡️
The preparation for the chastisement is growing in grace and sanctity daily: the Sacraments, mental prayer, spiritual and corporal works of mercy, penance, etc.
Remedies for impurity: 1. Receive Holy Communion everyday, only if you are in the state of grace. 2. Do spiritual communions, as often as possible. 3. Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary: Consecrate yourself to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pray the Rosary daily for purity. Say three Hail Mary’s on your knees - with your hands under your knees - for purity. Wear the Scapular. Call on Our Lady immediately when tempted (Saint Alphonsus says it is an infallible sign that you will not fail if you call on Our Lady!). Pray that the Blessed Virgin Mary will grant you the efficacious grate that you will have a deep hatred for sins of impurity, and that you would rather die in the state of grace than to ever commit a mortal sin. 4. Pray to Blessed Virgin Mary to find a steady faithful confessor, who can help, and go to every week. Meditate on one of the four last things every day: death, judgement, hell and heaven. 5. Practice the presence of God at all times. He knows every thought and deed you do and can strike you dead in your sins. 6. Avoid all occasions of sin. Avoiding everything that cuts us off from God’s friendship: tv, internet porn, bad company etc… 7. Temperance in food and drink. Practice interior an exterior penance. 8. Dress modestly. 9. Practice custody of eyes. 10. Take a grain of exorcised salt when tempted. No one falls who practices all of the above! You must do all of the above, the only exception is #1 if you are not in the state of grace. (This has been added to the description now.)
I never even heard of discerning a vocation or state of life. I was age 47 when I learned of it. By then, it was a too late to make any change. As a very young child, like ages 3, 4, 5, I thought of being a nun. By the time I was of the correct age, it was not even on the radar. Just as well because what sort of convent would I have joined a in 1972 when the nuns were leaving and exchanging their habits for jeans or polyester pants suits? I’ve remained single in the world although I didn’t discern it in the proper sense of the word.
Father Isaac I don't want to vote. God said do not kill. What does St Alphonse say , what recommendations do you have for us Prolifers who can't violate our conscience?

Please provide the list of remedies❤
I would imagine the remedies are tailored to each penitent and his/her state in life or other pertinent circumstances.
Remedies for impurity:
1. Receive Holy Communion everyday, only if you are in the state of grace.
2. Do spiritual communions, as often as possible.
3. Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary:
Consecrate yourself to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Pray the Rosary daily for purity.

Not altogether too late-Look into the Third Ordeda!

St John Bosco. Not Don. This is a great holy priest- no one can remember every name
Actually, Father IS correct. The meaning of "Don" is... father, title of nobility, or a proper name. Saint John Bosco was formally called Don Bosco. 😊
