What a coincidence. I just made a comment on your Rocky Mountain video and you’re already posting your Zion video!

@@stevesalter1138 Haha, crazy! Can you tell me which park I did today before I post that video? 🤔

Mel, after spending days in Rky Mtns, I bet Sue wasn't getting too winded, 😉

Zion is one of my top bucket list parks to visit, so this was a fun video to watch. You ladies did some fun hikes.

For the future, Zion is pronounced like "Lion." Zion, Lyin', Buyin', etc. Glad you enjoyed the hike!

Great that you were able to see 1 of the California Condors that they've reintroduced to Zion and the Grand Canyon. I'll have to be content with memories of similar views of Andean Condors in Colca Canyon in Peru 20-odd years ago. The tour in 2010 didn't allow us Oldies time for much rim hiking in the Park there but it certainly is a spectacular place. With the weather warming up there no doubt the "no-see-ems" will be making their presence felt in the desert. They were vicious in Arches Park!
Oh, and cute critters there. But I presume that you are aware that the American South West is 1 of the few places in the world where Yersinia pestis is still endemic in the local rodents? 😱

Wow, I did not know that! I didn't touch any of the animals but Mel did. I will tell her about it. Thank you

@@Sue_Cloutier I wouldn't worry too much about it. Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado might have most of the roughly 7 or so cases per year (about 1 case fatal with today's antibiotics) but you are more likely to be bitten by a Rattler and more folks die of that each year. 😉😊

Bet it's a bit warmer there than in Rky Mtn a couple days ago.....
