So with the right set up and right 12s, I too can hit over a 150 with or without wall?

I blew my Alpine amp years ago, like 2014, and stowed all my gear in the garage. I'm working up to redo my system in my new ride and I'm going to attempt the install by myself for once. I'm so glad I found your channel, you seem like a chill ass dude that's so much fun to watch. Keep those videos coming, and if you have any tips for a newbie install I'd appreciate them!

Awesome 2: 12s... that's exactly what I am going for... so far I got 2 NVX 12" +2 Rockford fosgate tweeters and 2 : 6.5" kenwood, all of them powered by a 5 channel Pioneer amp. ( I am definitely under power)....

I was running a pr. of 12" in a 6th order series tuned on two Everest 5k's @.5 each till just recently w/two 250amp Excessive alts. Nasty build brother

I pretty much run my two 12's and 2500 watt monoblock 4/5ths full tilt daily. Two batteries and a cap, but overheating issues. Inverted subs in a modified pre-fab box, standing up in the way back of my Blazer. Does the job. Running @ 1 ohm (amp not even rated for it) but I give it every volt and amp I got.
Nasty.. looks great nate hope to get a demo soon

the sundowns may get louder but not as musical as a the ssa subs for everyday listening the ssa sound better to my ear just my two cents buy and play what you like bass on

Help!! I’ve tried every forum and what not but audio question here. I have 2 JBL 300’s and want to add a sub in the middle. People have connected a sub to just 1 300 w an rca cable but will 1 rca cable do when I have both 300’s paired up? Or do I need to split the connection to both ?

Can you check out the dayton audio speakers? They do home audio but they have some respectable subs, with decent specs, atleast give them a look if you have time. I have the regular ones but the ultimax are supposed to be the creme.

I’m doing a 151db on 2 LVL4 12’s DC but I have a great box and my car is a tiny hatch so don’t take as much to get loud in it! I gained 1.5db’s over my trunk car Chevy Cruze turbo.

Thats crazy on the sundown ns build. I would have never thought he would have gotten 153 on music with subs foward and not sealed off. Must be concrete in the trunk lid or something, just awesome for the setup!!!

That's a clean Pontiac. My 2 avatars face up in 4 cubes box. Don't care for it. Sounds good but I'm trying to squeeze a little more out the STUs. Building a 5.5 cube box with subs and port facing forward tuned to 28. On a jp63. 136ah headway and a 390 amp alternator.

Cesar Hernandez They did their job. I bought 2 15 L7 2 ohm refurbished in a ported carpeted box off sonicelectronix for 399$. All the bass I needed at 19 years old. I replaced all the door speakers and rear 6x9s with pioneer 3 and 5 way for under 150$. Honestly the Alpine head unit I had went to 50 and I never turned it past 28. Idk if it was the trunk volume and thick metal/leather seats in a 96 deville but it was loud and clear 4-5 blocks away.

Box size is important you wanna have the right depth cubic ft for the speaker 🔊 also find out the tuning of the box min is 5 cubic ft Nd tunes to 32

dam thats loud for some 12s makes me feel bad im rollin with a audiopipe 15 doesnt seem to hait very hard and I think something is wrong with the skar rp 1500 watt amp I have seems to run hot and it shuts off at random all my wires are good and my voltage isnt bad either sitting in the 13s most of the time .

Personally for me as a whole, just musicality. Being able to dip into the high-teens/lower-20s & up to the upper-50s while still being fairly loud in a daily is what my preference is. Mid-140s to 150ish is all I’d really want for a daily because it’s just before the point of actually breaking things in the vehicle, if I wanna get anything louder than that I’d wanna have a specifically bass only vehicle
