His son got 8 years in prison for being addicted to drugs & this jackass only got less than 2 years??? The system is so messed up. 🤦🏻♀️🤬
k10 LMS RIGHT!! Why are people addicted to drugs getting this much time, GET THESE PEOPLE HELP INSTEAD OF LOCKING THEM UP!
And likely his addiction issues are a result of depression and mental illness stemming from his father's disappearance
Agreed!!
Or like how some people get caught with 4 grams of any drugs and get 2 to 20 years while child molester gets 1 to 2 half or get let out early for good behavior like wtf
Can't agree more.
There's no justice in our world's drug laws.
The whole "war on drugs"-idea is nonsense.
Faking death and taking on another identity to avoid my problems is a mood
current mood tbh
Literally me tbh
🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The ultimate mood.
This all could’ve been avoided with a simple divorce
Le Göune I mean what he did was terrible but at least he didn’t kill his wife and child - what some men who tire of his family, do. He ran away. Not a huge crime. He chose his life a life in hiding in fear and avoiding people. Lots of men leave without explanation (just divorcing), and although it’s sad it’s not a horrific crime.
Miss Viking so identify theft is not a crime?
Miss Viking you can make anything seem better by saying “at least he didn’t didn’t kill his family !!” this guy knew he was the primary source of income for this family, knew they’d be worried he was dead, knew he’d leave his kids without a father. it’s a really really terrible thing to do.
Miss Viking it’s the fact he left his wife and kids. If u not happy get a divorce. He affected his children a lot. They didn’t know if he was dead or what happen to him. Basically didn’t have closure over losing him. Couldn’t bury him, know truly that he was dead
Idk i feel like if he went to that much effort to disappear there must have been more going on
I assume the guy just wanted to avoid paying child support? Takes being a deadbeat dad to a whole new level...
@@kristyna907. That's assuming they had money. It's doubtful the money he left behind was more than child support for multiple kids through 18 would've been. Not to mention any debts he also walked away from
I would have understood if he had been severely beaten at his return.
1000th like 🙃
It's not like guys can abort childeren or put them up for adoption like women can.....
I don't understand how they found his car AT THE AIRPORT and didn't think that maybe he skedaddled lol
Riley Beronja right?!
I know!!
Props on "skedaddled " yo, haven't heard that shit in a fat minute.
Rick Hubanks 😂😂😂😂
Especially since his wife wasn't in cahoots with him...lol
“I don’t remember having that feeling...” I hear ya, sister!
Yes honey! I felt that !
I’d just be pissed. Lol.
@@avengingstorm1710 vvvv
“I don’t remember that feeling..” @8:40 lolol
Yes! Very diplomatic and elegant way of putting it!
That's the most extreme form of ghosting I've ever heard of
Especially since he stole a dead person’s identity 😂
You clearly don't know my crush yet 😔
@@aashirrrrr OP+
LOL! That's is something you can compare it to.
the fact that he went on to have another child after abandoning his sons must make it so much harder for them
I feel so bad for that child and his mom. They would have been in total shock.
I wonder if his kids ever met their half sibling
A classic story of a man going out for a pack of cigarettes and never coming back. Sad, sad stuff.
kid you not my cousin did this. told his wife he was getting milk. she found him 10 years later in new york
Julie Admave-Hartle I thought it was milk? Geez and for years we didn't drink milk (not in my home) 🤣😂
Unhappy marriage.
That's because cigarettes are the Devil's weed!
My grandfather once told my grandmother he was going to go get some cheese and then left to the United States 😂 he came back tough

I thought it was revealing since I lived in Fl - small Fl towns you say hello to people - that he didn't shows he was a dick.
hartlei stansbury he barely said shit wym
I thought the same thing! Like what could he possibly offer?
I wish Chris Watts just disappeared and started a new life instead of ending his family's :(
yeah, right?
Interviewer: Where you at all glad to hear that he was still alive?
Wife: *blank face* I don't remember that feeling.
Lmao. An icon.
I'm quite sure the 3rd wife will be taking 1/2 of what ever was accrued in the marriage... & rightfully so, how ever some of what she gets should go to the second wife & children... A very Bizarre choice, makes me wonder what else has he hidden...
😂🤣
I cannot imagine the anger and resentment from his previous family and then the severe confusion that his "current" family felt. What a horrible situation for both sides! Also, imagine the family that's dealing with their dead son's identity theft on top it...
Yes I agree. That's horrid. The son went through hell in and I imagine prison aswell would be a living nightmare. Linda 😢😢😢 the poor woman. Xx It really looks like abduction.. He did it all himself and changed his name.
@@julz3tt3 I'm glad his currant wife found out his real identity and divorced him. I don't know how I'd feel staying with a man that abandoned his previous family let alone his children for a new life he didn't have an excuse for.
@@girlscanbedrummers5449 I'm surprised the current wife even married him. I would be highly suspicious of, and never marry, a man who wouldnt tell me anything about his past. Huge red flag.
Takes a real piece of shit to be able to ruin 3 seperate families lives in 3 seperate ways lmao
He fucked up BOTH families life. What a shitty person.
Man steals dead mans identity: 2 years in prison
Man does / possesses drugs: 8 years in prison.
I’m sorry but that really makes no sense to me
And his drug and mental problems most likely stemmed from his father being absent from his life. What a shitty person
I think the higher sentence for drugs stems from all the people dying for that person to get that drug.
Wasn't he selling them??? That's a whole different story.
Dang I didn’t even make that realization. The justice system is really shit 😤
So why can't trace birthday cards, where were they sent from...🤔
What we've learned: unhappily married men pick from the same four options:
1) divorce 2) affair 3) kill everyone 4) run away.
Whereas women seem to pick from:
1) divorce 2) affair and 3) silently hate him.
tbf women also choose option 4) poison or hit man
Hes selfish; to leave his wife and kids so he can live a luxury life. Shows what his priorities are.
How did he have the money? Surely the police would have found he stashed money away so at least they could tell the family that they suspect he just ran away
Lmao you did not have to play "somebody that I used to know" at the end 😂😂😂 girl I'm weak
😂😂😂🙏
I didn't want to laugh but I laughed anyway. SMH
If I am not mistaken she blended the song with ....goodness it is in the tip of my tongue 👅 😛 ?? Anyone know...it isn’t Alabama Shakes right?

I can't even wrap my head around what this guy did, the wife and kids he abandoned?! I just don't understand how you could be so selfish and cruel.
What do you expect from this gender, I thought this would be a happy story but it's just another selfish man so lemme skip it
There's a term for it, I don't remember what it's called, but it's basically a point in someone's life or brain activity when they decide to leave absolutely everything they have and move away and start a new life completely from scratch and with a new name.
PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON MY MISSING FRIEND!! He’s from Alaska, and he’s Native American.
They had no issue finding some little white girl in the same area around the same time.
He’s gotten little to no coverage, I feel it is unfair. I want more attention brought to the case. IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE HE VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE. Under VERY odd circumstances. Please please. I need this. I feel like if more people knew, we would finally get answers.
Maybe try tweeting her? I'm not sure. I really hope you get closer for your friend
Try emailing her I’m sorry to hear about your friend I hope you find him
So many missing native Americans are not a priority to the government :( it's sad
Whats his name?
I hope he is ok
Kat Hair his name is Chris (Christopher) Edward Orcutt. He was last seen leaving a party August 25th 2016, he was said to be intoxicated when he left. They also didn’t pursue it because of rumors saying he was homeless, so a homeless Native American man didn’t mean shit to them. His poor family. Both sides, old life and new. No one deserves that fear and pain he has caused. This man deserves everything he got!

I love “solved “ and “found” videos ! Gives me a sense of closure 😂💕
Awesome song at the end!! I do love the solved cases! And the fact that you do different types of cases. This one was interesting for sure. My dad did the same thing but only had step children but he never hid it like that. Wow! Makes me wonder how many times this has happened before but they are caught. Thanks again for a great video! I look forward to your uploads!!
Sameeee
Never got closure from my ex so I understand😂😂 feels those holes😂😂
How did you get the special gift I downloaded the game but I don’t see it
brielle haydel you had to fill out the gode last year
This story really affected me. My dad did the same thing when I was 7. He took off with his girlfriend to Colorado for 2 years. For 2 years we didn't know if he was even alive. I felt so heartbroken. I blamed myself. I thought I must have been a really horrible child for my dad to just leave like that. When in reality, I was a well behaved, obedient, kind and sweet little girl who deserved a father who loved her. He was also the sole income for our family of 7 children. He left us with no car and utterly destitute in a rural area with few resources. We didn't hear from him again until his girlfriend committed suicide. I still spent the rest of my childhood without him, but at least then we knew he was alive.
What this dad in the story did was even shittier than what my dad did and that's saying a lot. I really related to what his son wrote in that letter. I know those feelings well. I'm so sorry that he ended turning to drugs. Prison is not the moral or compassionate societal reaction to drug addiction. People in that situation need help, not punishment and the system destroying their life even more. Such a sad story.
I’m sorry this happened to you
The parent was at fault
He thought he found a loophole into not paying child support.

I think that's a cowards move . When i was 26 i lost custody of my 3 kids i was on drugs and drank partied Im bipolar i have anxiety and panic disorder ptsd and ocd So I made the very hard choice to give custody to my mother. I wanted to run away start a new life but it would have only hurt them and me worse.I also wouldnt have the relationship i have with my children now. Ive been clean for 6 years now . I dont get how people run away other than there a coward .If theres know threat to there life .
What you did proves you’re a good person and loving mother. You knew you weren’t in a position to take care of them and instead of subjecting them to a bad life, you gave them a loving home with your mother. Good for you.
@@sumared Thank you. This makes me feel better . I struggle with feeling like I failed my children sometimes.
@@breeslifejourney8727 you making these efforts for the sake of your loved ones shows what a good heart you have and that your mind thinks about the security and well being of others. What happened in the past is gone and it was a bad phase. You are happy and healthy now and have your whole life to enjoy your loved ones in your life. That's what is important. Plus your life is an example of how one can turn their life around. If anything, you will be a good role model for your children who will always respect and appreciate the fact that you made these huge changes for yourself and for them. A healthy female role model. You should give yourself credit for that in my opinion
@@d_dpo I appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback. When people tell me things like this it helps me to realize i made the right decisions. Thank you sweetheart . God Bless you.
@@breeslifejourney8727 God bless you too! I'm recovering from a terminal illness and I make it a point to lift myself up. Too many times we are so hard on ourselves and don't regard the good that we've achieved to be anything big. But it is. These are real achievements. You're a wonderful mother. Don't you ever forget that. I had a really narcissistic and manipulative mother and I struggled with it for years before i realised the gaslighting she did... I would have loved to have a genuinely kind hearted person like you as a mother figure to me. Your kids and family realise that, so should you! Much love to you!
Hi Kendall.. my parents did the same thing.. I was 15, sitting at the dinner table waiting for my dad, who I loved more than anything, to come home from work; & noticing he was late, I asked my "mom" if he was working overtime. She responds with " Oh him? No, he's not ever coming home again.." and that was that. I can't tell you how absolutely damaging that is on so many levels & now with him gone, my mother who was not working started threatning me with pulling me out of school to work to support her & my 12 yo sister, the things she said just terrified me to the point where I had ptsd already as a kid. So there are people out there who do this shit to their kids.
What a sad story. Such a selfish man. Incredibly interesting though...
Tess McClaine omg mom I didn’t know you watched this channel 😂😂 I LOVE HER!!!!

And on top of that the cops at one point was looking into the wife haven something to do with he's disappearing she could have been charged with murder never know today oh my God what a mess he should have got prison more than two-year prison time. Especially when you all these other cases you know people go to prison for murder and have something to do with the murder and all that without a body I means that could happen to this woman what a tragic that is some scary scary s***
It sure is easier to get help for a missing white guy than it is to get other disappearances investigated.

can you imagine how many missing people are out there under new identities while their families and love ones are wasting their times and money looking for them? it's crazy.
I can imagine missing people with new identities because they're being held captive. However, for cases like these, it's rare because people are rarely so selfish and cowardly. I almost thought this man was a psychopath and he probably is if he thought it's ok to cut ties with loved ones like this.
not this maybe he got scared and theres another side to this case. Maybe Linda was harming him secretly and nobody knew.

I can relate too this story on so many levels. It's so sad. My dad left my family when I was 4. We were dressed for East Sunday and he went out to start the car and he never came back. He was from a huge family in Kentucky, and I have heard so many different stories. I have a few half brother and sisters that I have never met. My dad is supposedly dead and die alone in a hospital in Florida where I now live. I have so many questions that will never be answered.
That’s his karma for leaving his children to fend for themselves
This “Dad” shouldn’t even be considered a Dad.
I'd consider him as "It"
The song at the end…
Changed the mood in my room
The whole death receipt thing is so weird. When my dad died in 2019, we got a death certificate and it seriously did feel like it was, “hey, sorry for your loss buuuut, here’s the receipt.”

Hey let him have his minute of fame lol
Great summary of nothing 😂😂😂😂 2 minutes of fame.
😂
Why in the world did the family think he was dead? His car was found at the airport and they received letters from him. I don't think they believed he was dead. The son even said he grew up not understanding what was so bad that he left his kids.
I guess if he was missing for ages they probably didn't think he was alive. Thru tend to assume people are dead after they are missing for certain amount of time
If you don’t see him for years, and no traces of him being around other than cards. Anyone could’ve written those cards
I guess I have to listen again, maybe the cards only came for a little while.
But legally, he had to be declared dead, it was not the family who did it. He was missing with no real sign of life for ... I think it's 7 years.
@@lizh1988 .hope they fot life ins..
Dude when she started talking about how Richard wasn’t dead I immediately thought of the vine that was like “WHAT THE FUC RICHARD”
I used to babysit for this woman, and one day she told me that her father had gone missing, they had no idea where he was. He was elderly, too. They went to the cops, and it was treated like a missing persons case. 3 years later, the private detective they had hired to help find him came back with some info. He was living in Hawaii with another family! Turns out he had been living a double life for 30 years, and he wanted to retire. He chose the other family to retire with. People are crazy....
In 1989 in the border town where I live (Matamoros, Mexico) an American spring breaker named Mark Kilroy was abducted and used for a sacrificial ritual. It would be a pretty cool case to make a video about, even though it has a tragic ending. There's a movie called Borderland (2007) that is based on this case. The satanic group that did it had pretty much an entire ranch filled with bodies, but it was only after an American was involved, that the FBI was called. Once again, I think it'd be a good video. Great vid, as always! xx
Yeya wow that’s crazy! I’d love to see Kendall do a video on that
That's a good case to go over.
This is so weird but I swear she already did this one. So odd
I know about this case too, it's so heartbreaking and cruel.
Yeya that sounds like an interesting video idea.
When a girl goes missing: Oh my God! She's probably dead!
When a guy goes missing: Oh my God! He's probably married!
I feel like what he did to his family is way worse than his son's drug possession. I feel like thier sentences should have been swapped. 2 years? Seems pretty lax for what this guy did to his kids and wife.
"You died, here's the receipt." 😆

I genuinely feel awful for the mother and sons. Thinking he's dead for 23 years, being interrogated because you're a suspect in your husbands death, finding the strength to not let the loss stop your life only to find out he's just dandy; living with his new family and having a grand time while you've been morning and struggling with your loss.... That's so fucked up. I don't understand how someone could do what he did.
Can you imagine if the mother SOMEHOW got convicted for being involved with his disappearance? So, so shitty
Thank you for all your stories.
Did anyone ever hear of Richard Hoagland who worked for Nasa? I was so confused when I saw this video title. Richard Hoagland also wrote a book called Dark Mission about hidden information regarding NASAs findings.
lol the song at the end
Wow this is crazy. Can you imagine, there are people that wanna be with their loved ones and cant and here this man just up and left God dam
I'm thankful I found your channel. 💛
My great grandfather did that to my grandmother. My great grandmother passed away leaving him with 18 children and he abandoned them all. So the 9 eldest (who were married) each adopted one of the 9 youngest and raised them. My grandmother raised 7 kids of her own and one of her younger brothers. The whole family just came together when dad left and never looked back.
One of my great uncles, my grandfathers brother, did something very similar to this. He traveled for work and one time he just never came home. His kids got to digging around for him after their mother passed away and found him 3 states over with a new family. With kids only 2 years younger than his first wife’s. It was so crazy.
That has got to be one of the most selfish things I’ve ever heard. Just nuts and uncalled for.
