So innovative!! At my home, I use a purple shampoo because my hair can start to look very yellow. The purple tones the yellow out. I let my hair dry on it’s own, but it takes forever. 😅 so sweet that your sister helps you! I wish my sister lived closer. Thanks for sharing your routine! ❤️
I'm just going to say it. They're breaking their hair off. Just braid it. Protect the ends. Use hot oil treatments and thick moisturizers. Wait a few years and you'll actually see growth. Stop playing in your hair constantly or pulling on it.
I’m surprised more people haven’t commented on this, both their hair looks damaged, not just from the way she blow dried it but from how aggressively she was combing it as well.
I was about to say the same thing. Just let your hair air dry, it’s already hot back home you don’t need to dry already fragile coily hair. If you’re too lazy tp braid your hair just wrap it. You mustn’t try to tie it up in a tight ponytail like white people. Embrace your beautiful coily hair.
As an African American it’s amazing how similar your hair care routine is to our culture here in America. From braiding cornrows or plaits to how we discard our hair sheddings. When I saw your hair sheddings I immediately said, “Do not leave your hair laying around lol. My grandmother’s parents are from the South and it’s very important to burn or discard your dead hair properly because it’s bad juju (many southern states practiced hoodoo).
It's true a piece of my loc fell off at work in the bathroom on the floor I made sure I picked it up to take it home first thing came to mind is I wouldn't want my hair to fall into the wrong hands take it home burn it.
I’ve never heard that about hair, I mean we clean up our hair but never burned it! I think bad juju is more about the energy you give off and out out. Oh and yes they do have the same damaging techniques as Blaxk Americans.

Thanks for sharing this with us! I make a mixture of olive oil, alma oil and black Jamaican castor oil. Sometimes I use coconut oil too. I put that in my hair before I shampoo it. I add warm water to o my hair too. This is called prepoo. My hair is naturally dry so I try to add as much moisture to it as possible. I shampoo and condition my hair and let it air dry after using a towel to get most of the water out. I then use the same oil mixture and some hair cream. I usually put my hair in 2 braids or I do about 10 individual braids. That's it. That's my protective hair style. God bless you and your family! Sending love from the USA💜💜💜🙏

Love your videos. 🖤💙Your hair would probably be better off just letting it air dry. If you braid it to stretch the roots, then oil it, it will straighten on its own as it dries.🙂🖤💙
I live near a river, but we have water in our home to wash with. We also filter that water to drink it an cook with it. I mix my own oils together including coconut oil for hair and skin. Both my husband and I use these oils. Liquid coconut oil for his beard. I have a small pumice stone I use to clean my feet and get the skin soft, just for myself. I use the same kind of razor as you but in a holder. I'm in the United States. Thank you for sharing your self care routine!
My grandmother called your way of bathing a granny bath. When i travel to 3th world countries, i do this all the time. I have it down packed, because as children we did it at my grandmother's home in the city. She wouldn't let any of us come inside with all the dirty my many cousins and i carried on us. So we would get this big bucket and wash ourselves down and than have fun playing in the water. There was always dry clothes for us at the door, if we wanted to go inside b4 getting dry. It was lots of fun, because we were all family.
Sister Dosha, use an empty container for the dirty water .The clean water on one side and the dirty on the other side.to have a better care... I am learning the techniques of straightening the hair.
Miss Dosha you are a true Queen. I found you on Monday and I can’t stop watching your videos. I’m learning so much. Now when I was little my mother used coconut oil or what we call petroleum jelly mixed with other vitamins also known as grease. Thank you for sharing your life in the village with us. It really makes me appreciate the small things we take for granted here in America. Have you tried making sugar wax to shave. It's easy to make so you don't have to use that scary razor in those delicate areas. Maybe that could be something you could start making and selling there or just teach the girls in your village how to make. I'm sure you could find a video on UA-cam that will teach you how to make it. All you need is sugar and some lemon juice. After waxing you could run a lemon over some of the areas you shave it will sting a bit but will definitely disinfect everything and tone the skin. I just found your channel and subscribed. I really enjoy watching your videos and learning about your way of life. Does it ever get cold there and if so do you guys still shower outside?
Thank you for sharing how you take care of your hair n body in your African village!! We can’t knock it down, it has been going on in Africa for thousands of years, all Afro-Americans , Afro-Latinos, Afro-Brasilians and so and so forth. This is so interesting seeing how other people live. For your hair after washing just apply your oil to your scalp. Ask your sister to plat your hair in corn rows very small. That procedure will strengthen your hair and help it to grow. The method of applying the fire to your hair you’re burning your hair and damaging it. Just my humble opinion. hard life, I also did that a lot when I was a teenager, I got a bucket of water on my head, I swept the yard, I straightened my hair with an iron, but I'm grateful for everything, it was for learning. all the best to you 😘.
Whatever she's bathing with is very similar to an exfoliating sponge and this is why her skin is so pretty
I live in Canada & I LOVED watching this. It makes me want to try living this way 😩. May God cover & protect you all in the village
We called that a bird bath in my house hold growing up...loved the bird baths, this brought back great memories!
She washed her whole body, not only the " main parts", def not a bird bath
@@Jas-se1hw A bird bath is different for different people, for my family growing up we considered that a "bird bath."
That’s disrespectful to say.
i’ve never seen a channel like yours. i really love it so much! thank you for sharing your life!!!!
This routine is very similar to what I see in villages in India. I went to my mom's village back in 2014 and I saw such routine and I was amazed. We at our home in the city also use some of the ways you used in this video. Great video, thank you!
Am a Nigerian, and I love your contents. You just earned my sub. Washing your leg on the stone, the mud houses, etc reminds me so much about life growing up in one of the villages back in Jos, Plateau state, Nigerian🤗😍
Yes that how I wish up at the sink
I love when you said you have to be careful where you put your hair in the village. It cracked me up. When you know, you know. Leaving hair in a remote village may land in your ass getting cursed African Style😆 oh lord. I’m a village girl so I know first hand.
Also, I like coconut oil with a bit of lavender because they’re both anti fungal and anti bacterial. Good for curly/kinky hair. Awesome video sis xoxo
Que quer dizer isso..... me expliquem
Lol, en mi cultura también tenemos cuidado con el pelo. No lo tiras simplemente porque si. Solemos tener cuidado
I thought that's what she meant by be careful where to leave your hair. Lol
Aquí en Dominicana creen en que no debes dejar tus hebras de cabello en el suelo o donde alguien lo vea porque hacen brujería y se te cae todo el pelo.
I thought the same thing ! LOL
I love how they work with what they have and still have their beauty
That is dangerous drying your hair i've never seen that before that's real village life God bless you watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲
Thank you 💘
@@missdosha5341 ... Hi... Please don't shave hair with only blade , it will cut skin & bleeding .... Ok.... Please use blade razor.... Razor available in shops.... Razor cost is very low... All the best 🙏
@@shivan...7525 I think the main aim of this video is to show us how they do it in the village so she is being as authentic as possible so we know how people who don't have access to those things do it. She has lived in the city before so she knows about shaving blades
@@nomfunekonosilela3895 ok dear..... Thank you... I understand... 🙏
What a beautifully innovative way to do your hair and make yourself gorgeous! May God continue to bless you and your village. Thank you so much for sharing your special way of life with us!!!
Nowaday we forgot the traditional method of living you perfectly bringing back now...keep going
When the little pot dropped I jumped lol very interesting video thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for these videos and showing us different innovative ways to do things it makes me so proud to be a black woman and to see how strong we are and I'm just really grateful for Africa God bless you and your family I hope God blesses you with an abundance of finances
I'm learning so much about village life 💫 very interesting 🤔 always watching 👀 😍
Thank you 💘
I’m from Jamaica 🇯🇲 I love you ❤️
Hi, miss Dosha!!. Love the village life and the simplicity!!. Thank you, so much!!.
🐓🌹🐣🌻🐕🦺⚘🐜🌹🦟
Thank you 💘
So simple, yet so interesting!! Thankyou for sharing your daily routine.
I envy you that's how I want to live ♥️😩
My grandmother called your way of bathing a granny bath. When i travel to 3th world countries, i do this all the time. I have it down packed, because as children we did it at my grandmother's home in the city. She wouldn't let any of us come inside with all the dirty my many cousins and i carried on us. So we would get this big bucket and wash ourselves down and than have fun playing in the water. There was always dry clothes for us at the door, if we wanted to go inside b4 getting dry. It was lots of fun, because we were all family.
Love your self care routine! You are a smart, intelligent, beautiful queen!
Sister Dosha, use an empty container for the dirty water .The clean water on one side and the dirty on the other side.to have a better care...
I am learning the techniques of straightening the hair.
Hello I really enjoy watching your video I am from Jamaica 🇯🇲
I really loved your self-care day...so natural and authentic... enjoyed every bit!
Miss Dosha you are a true Queen. I found you on Monday and I can’t stop watching your videos. I’m learning so much. Now when I was little my mother used coconut oil or what we call petroleum jelly mixed with other vitamins also known as grease. I don’t see this as natural because we don’t make it ourselves we have to go to the supermarket and get it. Love you girl!
Amazing video... That's the real civilisation for me. Living minimal life by utilising the simple tools around you.
Saludos 😘😘😘
Quedó sorprendida de tu linda rutina 👌👌👌
IT IS SO FASCINATING, WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS, BLOW DRYING YOUR HAIR IS THE PART THAT GOT ME. 👌
Thank you 💘
Take a bow lady, you are very humble miss dosha
This was wonderful to see and learn from. Your life is different from mine in many ways, but you and I have the same routines. Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for sharing love ❤️
I love the natural life just living in a beautiful Village surrounded by nature 🥰
Encontré este canal por recomendación de UA-cam y la verdad que me gusta ver como enseñas muy educativo
really enjoy watching your videos and learning about your way of life. Does it ever get cold there and if so do you guys still shower outside?
♥️
Thank you for sharing how you take care of your hair n body in your African village!! We can’t knock it down, it has been going on in Africa for thousands of years, all Afro-Americans , Afro-Latinos, Afro-Brasilians and so and so forth. We came from Africa and so this is how it works for them. Being clean 🧼 is what matters. God bless you in Jesus name ♥️🌺
Love your video, stay blessed
Hats off to all african people, just u people are great.!each n everyone has to learn from u people how to live happily..
U dont hav proper place to take bath n no proper facilities but still u people have smiling faces,u r living ur life as granted..
But we.! We have everything but we are unhappy n start complainting God for what we dont have...we are not thankful to God,for what He granted us...
I'm telling you watching these videos made me feel real convicted in how I can complain sometimes. & just need to be more grateful for what God has blessed me with.& I'm humbly saying that, not tryna be negative or prideful about it. Bc these are some blessed ppl on here in this village as well. I'm being blessed by just watching her videos& seeing her gratitude & ambition
I feel clean & refreshed after watching this video. Thanx 😊
Fascinating, I've never seen that type of hair dryer before. Your hair looks very nice and healthy.
Thank you 💘
Love to see different cultures and how they live their lives 🤍✨ keep sharing girl ! 💓
Thank you for sharing your village with us, Miss Dosha. This is my 3rd video I've watched of yours& I'm getting ready to subscribe now. I love your gratitude & ambition; it's encouraging & inspiring to see. May God cont to bless you, your family & your village. Sending love from USA 🇺🇸
I'm a Brazilian and i loved your video! Loved your beauty tips and we love you and your content! Never forget to be this wonderful and happy person you are!
I love it who says that African queens are not smart when it comes to a beauty. 😍😍😍
I enjoyed watching this. The scenery is beautiful!! I can’t wait to visit Africa and learn more about the cultures. I just found out that I’m a beautiful mix of several African ethnic groups and I feel an instant connection watching stuff like this. ♥️

Miss Dosha you are so naturally beautiful. You must be doing something right!! I say, ignore these commenters saying don't do this, don't do that. Love seeing the tools you utilize in your self care routine!!
Self care however is done is self love,I hv to say for me this was so much more than just self care/daily routine bt I learned a valuable lesson 🙏Stay blessed ❤️❤️❤️
