The ad revenue depends entirely on the type of ads that are displayed on your videos. It has nothing to do with the number of views. You need to find out which ads pay the most, and then cater your videos accordingly. Once you understand how UA-cam pays you for ad revenue, you won't feel so hard-done-by in future.

I was letting everyone watching know you can get paid more for the same amount of views, which you can depending on what type of content it is. If you make dropshipping videos you can be paid way more per 1000 views compared to a gaming channel

Can you talk about creating new channels? I herd so many rumors like if you create a new channel with a fresh gmail, youtube will not push your videos. How about creating a new channel from a old existing gmail? Will google instantly trust that channel? Or do we need to build history on the channel (watch vids, search so on) before posting? Any insight?

ive heard that youtube will assume most new fresh channels are bots until proven otherwise, so using an aged account would be better than using a brand new one but if you have to just use it but yea you probably have to use the account like watch and upload on it and hopefully youtube will not think its a bot

UA-cam will still provide an initial push to your videos but the impression you leave on the algorithm is what matters. Watch time, viewer retention, click-through rate, engagement, etc.

Your type of content might work better with shorts.. imo. Cool stuff btw:)

I started this channel at the beginning of this year. I was getting quite a bit of views and subscribers. I reached the subscriber amount needed within the first couple weeks, I was shocked. Everything was going good. Life got busy and I quit being active. I had 2.5 million views and 8400 subscribers after a few months. Well I come back after a couple months and my channel is dead. My views are so low now, it’s crazy. Like barely break 100 views per short where before I was getting thousands. Any ideas?

the content youre doing might have been more popular before but also youtube loves when you upload a lot so when you left and werent uploading it stopped the traction you had going so you might just have to build it up again and maybe try some different style content if you want
