I'm feeling positive about the upcoming chapter, it's nice to see that PMoon are keeping their footing going by stepping up visuals as we go along, hoping that they adjust the pacing a little compared to canto 4 Anything Ishmael focused is going to be a W regardless (that ego animation and art is mastery incarnate)
I'm fairly sure that the pacing will be better as Canto 4 was as long as it is due to how it released as separate parts, while Canto 5 was going to be released all at once even before the delay

I feel like railway 2 was a teaser to in battle cutscenes that we'll be seeing in the next chapter. Also that recap really made me wish for a manga of limbus.
I hope the battle theme is sort of based off of sea shanties because it's only appropriate that we make our own lyrics as we battle our way to the whale
Since you aren’t doing railway, here are my thoughts on the new bosses Rose Sign and Wayward Passenger both feel like they are straight out of Ruina and are really fun. Faelantern is also pretty neat since its first phase forces you to only use half of your chosen sinners, forcing you to think more about your attacks. Steam Transport Machine can rewind itself back to before it was created (although I do like how the lights on it’s body correspond to your turn count)
I had alot of fun with Rose Sign, but Wayward Passenger was problematic due to how his portals work. I was stuck having to repeat his boss fight because someone didnt flip enough coins and I lost an entire turn worth of damage. Its a fun mechanic, but doesnt work when you add a countdown timer.
@@brucehalden6148 Yeah, the experiences I listed were from my scouting run where I focused on learning the gimmicks. For my sub-150 run I had a big enough turn buffer I just took the turn loss and used it to burn my low damage skills so I could Rip Space + Mind Whip + DDEDR on the re-emerge turn
Honestly, not doing RR2 is the best gift you can give yourself. it sucks. I didn't even go for the banners and it drove me mad- Kinda sad I'll undeniably be missing out on the new cool ishmael with her freakin 489 damage that's insane but I'm not buying the pass this time cuz of... drama shit I dunno just feels bad with some of the stuff about the company that's come out. the animation looks sweet as hell though, and hopefully chapter 5 lives up to it. I like Ishmael as a character and I hope she gets done justice
Each to their own I personally won't buy the pass unless there's a faust announcer but as always I wont judge anyone for spending money on the game. But for railway 2 my interest for it has waned so hard. I sat down with a few hours set for myself, ready to do it then I read the tutorial and the second I saw the words "cycle" and "restart" I reinacted that excact Scott The Woz clip, closed the game and went straight onto Tekken for the night. I haven't gone back to the railway screen since and I really don't care to, to be dead honest.
I swore to myself I wouldn’t ever touch it again after my first clear then I went back in for sub-150 because I always do that after hard fights The mode can be surprisingly fun, but the main problem comes from not knowing any information about the fights when you’re fighting the bosses… except for centipede, if that boss was removed I think everybody would love the railway. I throughly believe that that single boss ruined the experience of everyone who played it because they secretly changed it’s on-use self-charge skills to on combat start. Tangent aside despite the bosses being repetitive in nature most of them can be beaten in 4-6 turns (with the right team ofc) and have unique features depending on cycle/turn count like fox having more prot/summoning more umbrellas and steam machine swapping between prot/fragile every even/odd total turn count, and besides, at-least we’ve got something else to do other then MD2hard.
Have you not been up to date with the drama? The artist quit because of the harassment project moon had no fault and Artist was given a good amount of money
