It's hard for me to review this as I have nothing to compare it up against. Being new to the hobby, I never used a Logitech shifter, or any other brand. What I can tell you is like all other Fanatec products, it's built well, high-quality, heavy, and functions as intended. The little shifting I did, it was smooth, and I had no issues. Mounted to a P1-X, it's super solid, no issues whatsoever. Calibration only takes a minute or two. As far as the knobs, completely unnecessary, but they are much nicer than the included knobs. As far as I'm concerned, well worth the $79.95. If you're looking for a more technical review, I'm sure Boosted Media has got something. 😁
@@plaly33000 Sim-Lab has a product now named 'Fanatec ClubSport Shifter Side Mount with Tilt Adjustment'. That's better than my bracket. You'd mount that directly to the shifter using the Fanatec t-slot nuts included with the Fanatec shifter. Then, on the bracket itself, two holes at the bottom, you can mount it directly to the inside or outside of your profile.
@@KNARFNY thank know. I’m just wanting to know if the carbon sequential knob is smaller than the metal one that comes with the shifter. I find the one that comes standard with the shifter is a bit thicker than I would like it
@@KNARFNY Yea i like how they look too but i was wondering if they feel more grippy. my problem with the metal ones is my hand is sweaty and i dont like touching the metal really. i though the carbon would be better for this.
@@bobolimasterflex I don't think so, I think it might have less grip because it's more of a matte finish/feel. If your hands are dry, you won't have much grip. It's very 'dry' if that makes any sense. On the flip side, you don't get a touching metal feeling though with the carbon.

i never knew they sold this??
Hi, you took it with your support to install the shifter on the chassis please :)
You can see how at around 6:30 in this video. I used that bracket shown, with two t-slot nuts, and bolts, going into the profile.
@@KNARFNY yes i saw that part of the video but was wondering where you got the support from?
@@plaly33000 Good question. From Sim-Lab directly. It was called the 'Universal Mount'. Doesn't look like it's on their website anymore.

Is the Carbon SQ shifter knob smaller than the original Metal SQ shifter knob?
You get two with the carbon kit. The long one is the same size.

@@xshishxgaming5699 Give me a few. When I go upstairs, I will put them side-by-side, and measure/compare, and let you know.
@@KNARFNY thank you sir! 🙏
@@KNARFNY ?
What are your thoughts on the carbon knobs? Worth it?
I'd say it's more about aesthetics.
