When the young bucks ride those old sleds they will quickly realize how much better the new sleds are. Fun to see the excitement from them.
yeah i love teaching these little buggers about the sleds and maintaining them
prefer both my 98 vmax xtc 700s to any newer sled. over 12,000 miles and still original topend etc. handle like gokarts, fast as hell too. the xtc has more travel than the sx etc.. but the seat is comfy too so its really not as bad as people think on bumpy trails
@@hodgebone1 yamaha made great 2 strokes!
Lol I love it! 🤭😊
Sad we havent had enough snow again to see that rip yet!
You do realize you can simply squirt the starting fluid right into the air box inlet. It’s also less likely to foul the plugs.
ummmm ya…. we started to take the airbox off and it was stupid complex so pop the plugs is easiet
@@mudbrats just into the box inlet. It’s liquid coming out that evaporates in the intake. Motor suck it right in.
Couple of good ol girls, super fun to get going, hopefully we can get them out with us at some point this winter!
Hell ya!
Come on boys put your back into the pulls those are just cool graphics and sound. They’re just cool sleds
Yeah that’s a sweet sounding machine
I feel bad for the fate of that sled lol
actually theyll take care of it. hoping they keep it under a cover inside haha
Love that 700 Yamaha but also like a Dirty Twin . That Yamaha needs to be respected that dirty twin , not so much.
💯 agree
Nothing beats the sound of a Yami triple
Triple piped triple like an SRX700, I always thought they sounded good!
Got smoke! 😂. Nice machine
🤣
Nice sled! Miss my old red head!
i want one now!
How many poloks does it take to start a snowmobile
🤷♂️
And now the young guys know why old guys like electric start.
🤣 i enjoyed watching them yank the shit outta it
@@mudbrats My bad back got worse just watching them. Reminded me how I got all broken down.
@@oldjarhead386 🤣 i pick my battles with my bad back as well, and cold starting to vintage 700 isnt on my list
The amount of things wrong in this video no one in that garage should be around a snowmobile, to holding the throttle wide open every time pulling it over …. To you could have just sprayed quick start down the air box … but most concerning telling that kid to lift the track that’s been sitting in a barn for years and full throttle making it spin you could have took the kids legs clean off , don’t believe me look it up it happen to a man in Ontario
Appreciate your concern, been around sleds for more than 35years, there’s no way a sled sitting for 2 years and a track that new is gonna tear apart.
Oh I’m aware you’re knowledgeable , Im 33 years old and grew up on lakesimcoe the amount of horrific things Iv seen regarding snowmobiles I could write a goosebumps novel …
