  • Dr Tina Peers is a physician with a special interest in menopause, an inflammatory condition called mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) and chronic fatigue. In this video Dr. Peers presents information that indicates MCAS is much more common than most doctors believe. She follows principles agreed by the key workers and opinion leaders in the MCAS field. This allows Dr. peers to practice treatment strategies that can transform many lives for the better.
Dr. Peers has also recently been treating people after covid vaccine injury.

@@beanmeupscotty Many people believe souls have choices in what they will choose to experience in a lifetime. Some suffering may have positive karmic benefits. Paying off old karma (bad and good) is progress for a soul, making selfish choices will create new karma and this will need to be paid back, in a future life if not in this one. As soon as we accept how the karmic and reincarnation system works suffering becomes a little bit more understandable.

That poor girl; so sad to hear about Dr Peers' daughter but it's great that eventually there was a reliable diagnosis and treatment. I have found that very often patients know very well what is wrong with them and many patients are able to reliably diagnose themselves. It's also worrying how many common conditions there are that most GPs are totally unaware of. How often does someone get the wrong treatment due to a lack of knowledge on the Doctor's part about general anatomy & physiology. I'm a big fan of 'grassroots' medicine; getting back to basics when it comes to the body; understanding biochemistry, nutrition, homeostasis and following the logical mechanisms of action when it comes to chemical & biological pathways. Basic chemistry, basic biology; extrapolating the principles to rule out the most common problems first. I think so many GPs (and other Doctors in all fairness) are simply too eager to prescribe pills (often long term courses without due consideration of side-effects) without really understanding the problem, really finding out what the likely cause is, and trying to cure or manage the problem via safe, natural and inexpensive instead of just using pills to reduce symptoms!

So indoctrinated never updated knowledge to modern times. Basically said unfortunately all skin diseases are idiopathic and never find causes. I thought BS , never will if never look. Never even had hormone tests nothin, its a disgrace. I always think it's nutrient deficiencies, overactive cells etc. Some of us need more than others or can't convert as well. You can do so much testing now epigenetics, methylated tests etc. I hate the health system it's designed to keep u sick for long as possible never to prevent or heal through natural ways especially. NHS is a joke just cos its free doesnt make it fit for purpose. Other than emergency it's an ancient broken joke of a service.

You need to be referred to an Allergist so as u can be tested for overactive histamine production.

I've been living with histamine intolerance for MANY years and it is so challenging. Use Quercetin instead of drugs! Thank you, this has been helpful. I have ALL symptoms mentioned, and medical blood tests for MCAS said I was normal. I'm far from normal - incredibly sensitive. And thanks to this video, I just looked up foods and realize my very healthy diet is MOSTLY high histamine, from a list I just looked up. UGGH.

Yes, quercetin is excellent. Luteolin also inhibits mast cell-mediated allergic inflammation. There are research studies on both for MCAS, as both are mast cell stabilizers.

This is my story with severe allergies, that developed into an immune/inflammatory disease. I asked my doctor about histamine intolerance/mcas years ago - he told me it was not a spectrum - that if I had 'it' I would not be able to function. After listening to the last video about MCAS and histamine - I started taking a new second gen anti histamine and: All of these diseases have never been so manageable! Thank you!! for sharing this. As Jung said scientific insights can take 20 years (or more) to trickle down to the broader public... After 15 years of doctors and then them giving up....

Fasting, a low carb diet and probiotics together can actually cure allergies and also help a great deal with MCA syndrome. The many benefits of occasional extended fasting and lowering dietary carbs:
Your body recycles up to 1/3 of all immune bodies in a 72h fast, rejuvenating your entire immune system. This helps with autoimmune disease, cancers and cytokine storm.
Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion growths pathogens and plaques by macrophages and other immune cells. This will remove spikes quicker, whether natural or unnatural in origin!
Fasting and low carb help with POTS, which is driven by high insulin and blood sugar.
Clotting and fibrin are inhibited, stopping any 'unusual' clots.
Fasting quickly lowers blood pressure levels.
Clots and plaques are removed over time due to accelerated phagocytosis.
When insulin is high, vit D stays locked in the blood cells but fasting quickly lowers it. Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy.
Fasting restores NAD+ and increases nitric oxide release to open blood vessels.
Reflexes and short term memory are increased.
Fasts from 36-96 h increase metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release!.
Blood sugar and insulin are lowered when fasting, reducing inflammation and allowing the immune bodies to move freely through the body.
T cells and T reg cells are vital in fighting cancer, autoimmune disease and infections. With age, the thymus stops making as many of them but fasting releases stem cells, which then can become new T cells. It also releases growth hormone, which regenerates the thymus itself!
Fasting increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors and increases average telomere length in stem cell pools.
Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures.
When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell required for viruses to replicate.
The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting.
What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast but most teas and herbs are OK. Supplements and meds often break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting.
Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building.
Fasting activates autophagy (literally self eating), which causes cells to recycle damaged proteins and foreign matter such as viruses.
Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body.
Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue!
The obese will lose loose skin while fasting, but the frail will have increased growth hormone release, which helps to make more lean tissue
Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility for some women.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitochondrial DNA. Good mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism, fighting infection and cancer prevention!
24h of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half! This reduces leptin resistance, which impairs immune function.
Over time fasting normalizes stomach acid levels and during the fast acid levels go down to allow for the healing of ulcers.
Fasting reduces pain and anxiety by stimulating the endocannabinoid system, just like the effect of CBD oil
Your brain prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal measure to glucose. Except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids.
Fasting increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level.
Fasting releases BDNF and NGF in the blood. This stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth, which can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers.
When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn carbohydrate, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with.
Fasting stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, destroying them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer.
A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein
Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia. They also help with dementia and many other issues even if you take them while not fasting!
Glycine and trimethylglycine can also be useful supplements while fasting that won't break ketosis and have many benefits.
Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors that excrete insulin or certain rare forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all or only with doctor supervision. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis and done under doctor supervision. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness or tremors, then simply break the fast with a low carb meal.

    Dr. Campbell;
Lobby to create an organization that is given the same global recognition as the WHO.
Consider teaming up with a group of like-minded health professionals from around the world and forming an alternative world health organization. Then lobby to have the organization given the same global recognition as the WHO.
Ideally, there should be a minimum of ten independent globally recognized health organizations. Each organization should have ten independent sub organizations. Each sub organization ten independent sub sub organizations. And so on until every qualified health professional has the ability to be a member of one organization/sub organization and vote on policies pertaining to health care. All election rules apply. (Regular elections, Term limits. No rigging, No commissions for brands of medication dispensed, etc.)
By having multiple globally recognized health organizations, and, further, all decision making put to the vote, it will not be financially practical for the Pharmaceutical Industry to successfully bribe all health organization officials with policies that negatively affect the global community.

MCAS is super common and I see it as a physician here in the United States all the time it’s great to hear that this is being talked about more and that Dr. Campbell is bringing this to the surface. We see patients with gut issues, autoimmune issues, mold related illness, chronic lab disease, and now that we know long Covid is actually a MCAS phenomenon as well. Do mend the trigger is a huge part of getting to the root cause for the illness in my area were I practice, mold, and lyme disease are the two major triggers. But other places in the country it can be related to environmental toxins chemicals as well as solvent exposure.

About 4 or 5 years ago I started reducing my grains and increasing my ( eat the rainbow) salads and usually a big green smoothie every day to improve my health. Started getting gut issues and my skin started getting really bad. Diagnosed with exzema and doctors didn’t help at all. Both arms and legs were raw and weeping for over a year. My life was miserable. I had been watching the carnivore doctors for a couple years and decided to give it a try? After cutting all plants from my diet in less than a month my skin completely healed and my gut issues resolved. That was a year ago and haven’t had problems since. So much for plant super foods! Red meat 🥩 has everything you need and nothing you don’t need. Meat heals because it is the proper human diet and has the least amount of chemicals and toxins.

They want people sick so they can die early so that they don’t have to pay Social Security and sick people are easier to control. I have been suffering with chronic sibo and MCAS for 13 years now and it has ruined my life. I live in NZ and it is hardly recognised here. Even some of our immunologists refuse to recognise it....they say it doesn't exist. There is no help here and patients are left suffering....if you end up in hospital with a reaction the Doctor's and nurses have never heard of it and treat you like you just have anxiety or mental health problems. It is beyond frustrating and leaves you in a very lonely place.

For years, I was given no treatment and my symptoms were dismissed as psychosomatic and caused by anxiety. I got worse and worse and insisted something was really wrong. I was told I needed to see a psychiatrist and should stop coming to my physician because I was taking time away from patients who really needed help. I found out that my medical file was flagged that I was a problem patient with no real health issue which explained why so many doctors in my area were treating me like a head case. I went out of state and was diagnosed with pernicious anemia. I was slowly dying and needed life saving b12 injections in order to avoid permanent nerve damage. When I reported back to one practitioner who was especially dismissive, she sent me a letter kicking me out of their practice and claimed I was harassing their staff. All I had done was ask to speak to her manager when she didn't respond to my message. I thought her manager should know what bad care she was providing. Her manager defended her. It seemed they still believed I was a mental patient who was just causing them problems even though my symptoms were an exact fit for pernicious anemia.

while a lot of food is now being grown overseas in particular countries, despite the organic labels.. the air and soil quality can still be and is above levels for toxins, and genetically engineeered foods can still be sold as organic.

Interesting conversation. Great to see some Doctors being real about the situation of health care where some think learning stops when they earn their certificates. Things tend to get easier with experience and the tenacity of consistently trying to stay on top of things. Something often under appreciated and taken for granted. On that note, thank you both, and to all for working so hard, for caring so much as to continue trying so hard to learn and master some of the most complex subjects life has to mystify us with. Really means alot to everyone... 💐🙏👍

A Carnivore Reset for 90 days will literally reset everything! Due to prior existing weak or malfunction of stomach acids, Betaine Hydrochloride with Pepsin may be taken for the first 30-45 days. This may be required/optimal as to inspire the body to create effective strong acid and diminish amounts of excess fluid( reflux) of weakened diluted acid. This strong effective acid enables great breakdown of protein and can eliminate problems from beat up, misfolded proteins inspiring autoimmune problems and leaky gut. This is MIRACULOUS!!! This is the ultimate elimination diet. During the reintroduction of other foods, careful observation can determine/design the ultimate individualized diet for amazing health for each person. God Bless!

Yes my inflammation markers went down to within normal range when I went vegan. Putting aside ethical reasons for not eating meat, there are dietary reasons relevant to this discussion for not restricting a diet to just meat. It has no vitamin c which is a natural antioxidant and anti inflammatory and meat also has no fibre causing that putrefying matter to stay in your system longer. That’s why carnivores evolved to have relatively short digestive systems. I can’t imagine that purely eating meat would be a long term solution. By minimising high salicylate foods and eating in balance seems the best option gaining the many benefits of plants that are essential to humans. To each their own I guess.

So I also want to add to this conversation that mysterious fainting episodes also can come with this. I need an allergy test but high histamine food will make this worse.
The final trigger for me was heat and a few times I went out in the shower. Not fun.
She also mentions a lot of physical symptoms of ehlers-danlos syndrome. This usually forms a EDS-MCAS-POTS triad. The hyper mobility, bruising and heart rate issues will point you this direction.

@@zofiaskokowska6816 Among other things tested in the ER like heart enzymes, they did test for electrolytes and all were slightly elevated as I do add salt to food and take potassium and magnesium.

This was a fabulous podcast. I have had ME/CFS for 30 years and I think there are some very helpful things in this podcast. Thank you for sharing.
I would love to hear what Dr. Clancy recommends for people who suffer with CFS. I’m also super happy to hear that there is a growing movement of drs and scientists looking into natural remedies to help their patients.
So many of us are suffering with these chronic conditions and it’s frustrating trying to find out what truly works.
