Queen CaraSlays Madoka's wish was ripped away from her. Homura was just about to be saved. Witches weren't supposed to exist anymore. It turned a really beautiful deconstruction of the genre into something thats only purpose was shock value. It tured Homura into a highly dislikable character, made her previous character development void and turned Madoka back into a helpless girl in Homura's bird cage. Homura STILL suffers even though she got what she wanted. Just a giant pointless depressing ending compared to ep 12.
