This is a doujin (basically, indie) work, which means it is a self published (fan) work (that has nothing to do with the creators of the original anime/manga/video game/etc) These works are usually released at big events such as Comiket, Reitaisai, or M3 and their groups are called 'Circles,' there are tons of Circles at each event. This is a fan-based work which was made by Visual Work Station and then asked Chata, a popular singer to sing the lyrics to the song they arranged.

I just randomly remembered this song, finding it on an old USB Stick. I am SO nostalgic and emotional right now... Madoka Magical really is an amazing show.
A very popular theory is that Walpurgis isn't just one girl, but is the embodiment of the despair of all magic girls. Hormura could basically do nothing against it, since it's power grew along with their despair.
I would've sold my soul for a longer version of homuhomu's theme song glad I didn't have to do that. now I can sell my soul for other things thank you :D
I am Kyouko-fan in this series but I have strong feelings for Homura also. She deserves to be respected. Yes, it's only anime but WHO CARES? Can you do and try same thing over and over and over for almost 30 or 50 years? (There are lots of calculated estimations about this. ) Also it's not that easy to become a veteran strategist.
Well, it's more like 10 years, give or take a year or two, but even so that's a really long time. Homura shows a strength that is to be admired by putting herself through all of that.
I once read that it's because if we saw from Homuras perspective in the series then we'd realize what's happening from the beginning so watching it from Madokas perspective or the one who actually got to see everything until the end was a good call. Then in Rebellion it was from Homuras perspective because if we were seeing everything from anyone else's perspective we'd know what's going on around the same time Sayaka and Homura talked since Nagisa told Mami what was happening around the time Sayaka and Homura were having their conversation and the conversation with Kyubey happened a while afterwards. It was around that time that Madoka and Kyoko also got informed. So basically Homura was the last to be informed of that. Because of the end of Rebellion and how it's been going we won't see Walpurgisnacht Rising from Sayakas or Homuras perspectives so that leaves Madoka, Mami, Kyoko or Nagisa.
There are actually two of them. One is called Puella Insomnio, and is Homura's character theme. The other is Inevitabilis, and is a more somber version of the same song, used in certain emotional scenes involving Homura. From what I can tell, all of those text interludes contain snippets of music used in the series.
when it's only the anime people are like I LOVE YOU HOMURA, BE MY WIFE KJANDKJNADS now, whit the third movie it's like I HATE YOU JOMARU, BITCH and i'm like, poor Homura, in her acts see the deep and sad history she have... :c
In order to continue the series or franchise the management or whatever forced the original ending AKA the happy ending that would wrap up everything perfectly to be thrown out and have an ending that could continue the series which was the one in the movie.

It's not in the anime. It's basically a tribute song to Homura (and the show in general) created by a group of professionals including Chata. The song uses elements of Surgam identidem, Nux Walpurgis and Puella in Somnio, which are used throughout the series.
And at about 4:50 you can hear the second part of Nux Walpurgis. The part that makes you think you're watching a Shakespearean tragedy. Come to think of it, it seems like maybe all of the text interludes are pieces of soundtrack from the series. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.
She went thorugh the cycle countless times - and did not age. So she probably reverts to how she was at the time where (when) she jumps to, more rewinding time than time travel. She was in hospital prior to the events, so maybe she was just too weak/ill/hurt/whatever. While fixing her eyesight is something she can do, healing herself completely from whatever she had is probably out of question.
That one is simply epic. What you find today in the radio hardly changes over it´s entire duration, but this song still plays around with different elements and does a really great job and it gets the mood right.

This video is so fucking fantastic, mainly because it represents Homura's character and situation right down to the heart of the matter. Excellent, simply marvelous.
Since her wish was to 're-do her meeting with Madoka', her powers were probably limited and stopped her from being able to go any further than that day when she was being transferred and started the school. If she had no limits on her time travel, though, that's probably what she would have done.
