Just found your channel today, you're in my tribe. My lifelong best friend was a flight attendant, manager, and safety procedures instructor for two airlines her entire career. She has drilled evacuation procedures into my head since 1969. She taught me to ALWAYS wear my must-haves, in case of an emergency evacuation. What would you do if there was a sudden accident and you had to LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND to jump down a slide or dash onto the wing of the plane? Here's what I always WEAR on my body during flights: wallet with credit cards, IDs, etc., must-have medications, passport (if on a foreign trip), phone, iPad, lipstick-size portable power bank with cord, and anything else I couldn't live without for several days. I always fly in pants and layers, and wear shoes for running from a burning plane (never sandals or flip-flops). I know the chance of ever having to escape an emergency landing or crash are very slim, but I am always prepared. I have a friend who was a corporate pilot for 40+ years, he carries a smoke hood on all flights, I haven't got that extreme - yet.
Yes we are definitely cut from the same cloth. I have been trapped on a plane for hours trapped in an airport for a couple of days and I’m always happy that my personal bag and carry-on or with me because I can survive out of that for a week or more. And yes even though the chances are slim that we would have to escape from a plane and run down a runway to get away from it, I look at it like house insurance or health insurance or car insurance, you don’t want it but you’re glad you have it when something goes wrong. I always wear my convertible hiking pants because I always end up with a pair of shorts and a pair pants and I dress in multiple layers so that I can switch my outfits around. I have a whole video that I did on that that talks about what I wear on the plane and how that essentially starts how I pack my suitcase because it will be a capsule wardrobe. At least I know if I had to get off the plane quickly for some reason I can stuff some things into that fanny pack and in my pockets that I need to help me get through a few days especially electronic stuff. And that’s also why I sometimes carry Stasher bags in my food bags because they’re waterproof and if I had to stick my phone in it I could keep it protected from the water. I was friends with captain Sullenberger‘s wife when he landed on the Hudson so when that happened I knew that it could happen to anybody.
I was in an emergency landing situation once and put all my valuables, money, credit cards, tickets, and passport into a large internal pocket in my jacket. Everything else had to be left behind. Thankfully the plane landed safely.
@@janettesinclair5902 wow! Scary! That’s why it’s always good to wear a jacket or something with a lot of pockets so you can put things in there. And having a waste pack on it allow you to carry more things off the plane in that situation. I’m happy you guys landed safely!
Wallet+passport+smartfone. Enough to survive without a cabin luggage during emergency evacuation IMHO. ATM card alone is enough for emergency shopping, accomodation payment and cash withdrawal. Smartphone for worldwide communication. ID Cards and passport is enough for official identification purposes. Hence I always use a small messenger bag or pouch when I travel.
I’m so glad I finally found someone as flight crazy as me. My inflight bag looks pretty similar. Even when traveling a bit better then coach I don’t want to be bothered everything I will need is attached to my waste.
Yes! Plus, I hate bending down and dragging that bag out from under the seat and trying to dig through it and not bother the person next to me! I like keeping everything close at hand and staying in my little station!😊
That aluminum suitcase...wow! That's a beautiful piece of luggage...and it holds a lot! 😊 ...and those interchangeable tags on the packing cubes, too. Luggage love there! ❤️😊🧳😍 A big fan of Hero clips, too...
I love that carry-on piece of luggage. Whenever I am staying at a hotel that’s the one I take because it’s just safer to lock everything up and also it prevents me from over packing because there is no way to extend it.🤪. I carry a hero clip with me every single day.! I love that thing too!
First of all, I hope your Mom has recovered and everything is under control. Secondly, You are my travel Guru! I thought I was good, but you are truly a Mary Poppins. I don't know were you find all of these amazing compact travel items that are so useful and a most have in anyone's bags. Your packing hacks are amazing! I enjoy so much your videos, you just have no idea. I save them, watch them over and over again and if that was not enough, I take notes!!. I travel International and have carried a carry on and a check in, due to the amount of time travel I do, but since all of this situation with the mess of luggage getting left behind and lost, I decided that even if my trip is more than two weeks, I will take with me a carry on only. I am starting to rehearse on how to get as good as you because I have two trips upcoming next year, one to North and South of Spain for 16 days and another one for 9 to Portugal and Spain. So I have to get all of this information tattoo on my brain. Thank you, Thank you! 🤗
Hi Elys!🥰 Thank you so very much! One of my mottos is if it’s good you got a share and if it’s bad you got a spare! I run into some awful gadgets and some wonderful gadgets that help me with travel and other every day things. I am so very happy you are able to get some great hacks out of these videos for your trip to Spain! I travel to India and China for six weeks with just carry-on and it was so nice to not have to worry about luggage being lost! We usually need less than we pack and can get away with wearing the same things over and over especially if you’re moving around and you’ll never see some of these people ever again. Although we do take lots of photos and videos so we like to look a little bit different so scarves are one of my best hacks to take with me. I should probably just do a video on scarves! I want to thank you for watching and commenting and your feedback on my videos is always welcome! Let me know if there’s a specific video you’d like to see and I’ll see if I can get it made!
@@cath4life42 that is on my list of videos to make! I think scarves are underrated and are so useful for a variety of reasons so I should probably get that video out sooner rather than later! My mom carries a scarf all the time and taught me to do the same and I really do use my scarves! Thank you for your wonderful feedback and I am so happy you are enjoying my content!

I'm so impressed with how much you can pack in those bags! And the tech! So awesome! I'm a new flight attendant and I'm always trying to figure out how to pack lighter! Yes, please show what is in the "security" bag! A cross body purse, regular purse, fanny pack or baby carrier worn while seated is a no-no on my airline and will be flagged. I inquired and was told the reason bedhind the FAA rule is that in an emergency evacuation, the straps could get hung on the arm rests, or other things on the plane. You have to take the purse off and stow it under the seat in front of you (unless small enough to fit in seatback pocket) or take the baby carrier off of you and hold the baby. The baby can stay in it, just not attached to you. Now, you CAN hold a coat, sweater, jacket, or shirt (does not count as a carryon) and if it has pockets and all of your items are in the pockets, I say, no harm, no foul! Also, it is just for takeoff and landing, during the "cruise" segment of the flight, you can have the purse out and in your lap.:)
Hi Kim, thank you so much for this advice! Excellent information from a flight attendant regarding what you can and can’t wear during takeoff and landing. I will say that if I had to. I could remove my waist pack and put it in the seat pocket in front of me during takeoff and landing. I guess it’s just a matter of playing Tetris on the plane. I do think it is unusual to let you hold your coat on your lap when that can get tangled up as well actually more than a waist pack. Not to mention all the stuff that could be falling out of the pockets lime ear phone cords and charging cords. Seems like it would be safer to keep them in a zipped up waist pack. But the rules are the rules. I’m so happy you found this contact useful and I look forward to your feedback on my other travel videos especially coming from a flight attendant!😀
Wow. That's a lot of stuff . I travel sometimes for months at a time and I wish i could pack that little. I also have my professional camera equipment and tripods. I learnt a lot from your video . The flight bag is genius, i will be using that on my next flight. As you said its an issue getting into your bag under the seat for stuff
Hi! I’m a sucker for Crossbody bags. It is the best idea ever! No more dragging heavy bags with shoulder pain. The Sophia is the one I would definitely get!
Thank you! I am so happy you are enjoying my Content and welcome to Theory of Simple! So happy to have you as part of this community. I look forward to your feedback on my other videos! More content coming soon!🥰
That suitcase by itself weighs 10.1 lbs... in a lot of places there is a 7kg (15.4 lbs) restriction for all pieces of carry on combined.. that means you will have to check yours in which can be a real pain. I go with a backpack for this reason.. a Porter 46 which weighs only 3lbs empty
Yeah everybody has to have their own way of packing so again providing information just so people who want to carry something more secure have a way to do it. For many people packing carry-on only is not an option. Also you have to think sometimes about the age and physical ability of people and whether a carry-on like a backpack that can weigh a lot on their back is an option. For me having things like laptops and camera equipment and iPads in my hotel room makes me feel a lot safer to have them locked up in a case like this when I leave my room. Unfortunately, as you see in the video, thieves are everywhere and opportunist like this are looking for a quick way just to get something and all I’m trying to do is make it so that it’s harder for them and then hopefully they’ll move on.
@@beatrizmaria1499 yes, depends on what your priority is. This suitcase is great for keeping my camera equipment safe and secure. When I am not carrying as much camera equipment I carry a lighter carry on. I have a separate video on that as well.
@@heatherframpton9693 yes! Unfortunately airlines are squeezing us into tighter, seats, and tighter spaces which means we have less room for even a personal carry on these days!
Hi Leslie! Ok! I think I will make it! The converters are so nice to have in case you need to charge and don’t have the right cable! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I learn so much from you - your videos are educational AND fun. It's amazing that there are so many things to talk about when it comes to packing light and packing well. Glad your mom is home and doing well. Yes to the security video!
Thank you, Colleen! I’m so very happy you find my content educational and FUN! Packing and organizing are my passion. I love helping people organize and simplify! My mom also says, Thank you!
I hope you live it too! I love how solid it is and how well it rolls, and that I cannot overpack with the suitcase! I’d be happy if you’d let me know how you like it once you get it and travel with it😊😊❤️
Yes to the security system info! Thanks for the waist bag hack! I looked through my bags & found one that I can set up for a flight bag. I feel so cramped when flying & hate accessing my backpack under the seat for lip balm or lotion. This is a perfect solution. I rewatched the video again to see your bag & that its slim in case you have to put it away.
You are very welcome! Trying to bend down with a seatbelt on and those tiny seats and no room to move makes it nearly impossible to get anything out of that bag underneath the seat in front of you! And then when you do get it back you’ve got to set it on your lap and try to get it open and get everything out of it and then you have no place to set it so that waste pack is my go to for every trip! So far I have never been stopped regarding that waste pack so I hope I haven’t jinxed myself!
Agreed; I have a small cosmetics bag I grab from my bag before I sit down but a waist bag is better as the cosmetic bag has take up already cramped tray table space
Hi Jody, there is a link in the video description to the Level8 site where you will find the electronics bag and other luggage and there’s also a discount code to get 10% off😊
I love these kinds of video I love to see how people pack so entertaining I’m not a minimalist packer though but enjoy other people on their tips and tricks thumbs up

You always find the best gadgets for traveling. That mini back scratcher, yes its awesome to have for when you get that itch. I would also use it if something falls and I can't reach with my hand, it gives you that extra reach. Great video
Thanks for the travel tips. Love your white jacket on the video. Wonder where you got it. Also, how about a video on what to pack for a work/pleasure trip to Europe.
Thank you so much! That white jacket is by Nicole Miller and I have not been able to find it online because it’s a few years old. I’m going to keep looking for some sort of replacement it’s newer and hopefully I’ll get links to people.! that’s a great video idea on the European work/pleasure trip! I have done that a few times and I’ll put something together soon!😃
I was looking at these level 8s. Zippers are now ubiquitous sadly and my latch American Tourister carryon is over 20 years old now I know I need one, Thanks!!
I’ll tell you that level8 piece of luggage is my favorite. I love how sleek it looks, I love that I do not overpack when I use it, and I love that I never have to force it into an overhead bin and also the wheels on this thing are amazing and just roll in any direction so it makes it really easy to handle it! 😊
How funny, because I just helped my dad pack yesterday for a flight and he said you should do this as a business and pack for people! 🤣 thank you so much for watching and commenting!
@@TheoryofSimple I did, but I just happened to be wearing a fanny pack that day so when I deplaned, I had my phone, my ID and wallet. Since we had to "leave everything behind," I was the only one who did.
@@bethbowen4612 it’s crazy to me that airlines don’t allow us to wear a waist pack but they will allow us to carry a coat and leave it in our laps. Were more likely to get tangled up with a coat that has a belt and arm holes and stuff and then a waist packs around our waist. I hope everyone around you learned a lesson from you on that day.
Yes! I think it’s such a great thing to have because it’s not going to be in the way & all over the floor and it’s going to keep you from losing things and having those things roll all over the floor and become a hazard for people. Plus, when I’m on my trip I use it! I actually keep this little fanny pack in my EDC bag so that I always have it! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
@@TheoryofSimple I’ve also been able to hang it from the seat in front of me, between the persons headrest & their seat-back there’s usually a space. I know… a bit precarious but they usually don’t notice….. YMMV of course. :)

I'm checking your links and I don't see the waist bag you are talking about. It looks like it is Marmot. The only one I see on your links is Monster bag. It looks smaller. I didn't find one in a Google search either. I just found your channel and I would also be interested in the security bag video. I travel to Costa Rica at least once a year and some of your tips are game changers for sure!
Hi Gina, I don’t believe Marmot is making that waist pack any longer. 😞I searched all over for that one too! I put something up that I thought might be a substitution. Also Sherpani makes great waste packs. I believe that I have a link to the Sherpani waist pack in my travel essentials list on Amazon. How exciting that you’re going to be going to Costa Rica! I have not been there but it’s definitely on my list. I should reach out to you for recommendations on places to go and stay and eat!😀

This was as usual a great video. So many ideas I’m going to watch again. BTW your hair looks nice. Yes on your security system video. You’ve introduced me to so many cool gadgets that I find helpful even while staying at home and out and about in my hometown. Mid August I went away for a long weekend and took the battery operated fan you showed and it was a great bedside fan.
Yes! That fan is great to have by the bed! It is good to have somethings with you and be prepared for a few things. As women, we were the original preppers! Our purses carry so much to get us through things!
The features of the Level 8 luggage look great. The 360° wheels look like high quality that will withstand many trips. Inside the luggage, I am wondering if the fabric lining has zippers down the middle. I like to unzip these and fill in the section between the rods with smaller soft items to take advantage of the space and create extra padding for soft case type versions of the carry-on for the interior section. Also, it's a great area to store items you don't want immediately visible like jewelry, cash, important papers. To minimize electric strips and level converters, etc., I try to bring only USB-powered devices. I found USB wall socket chargers for EU countries on eBay so I only need one US outlet charger and one EU charger device. The EU one happened to have an LED inside so it acts as a nightlight as well. If I did travel to England regularly, I would find the British USB charger device as well. Thanks for sharing your approach to simplified travel.
Hi there! This level eight suitcase is very sturdy and the wheels are amazing. As you could see in the video they turn on a dime and are very quiet and I think what I love the most is what I’m going down the aisle of the plane with this there’s plenty of clearance between the seats and I’m not banging into the armrest or peoples legs. There is a zipper down the middle of the fabric liner of the suitcase so yes it can be opened and closed. The liner inside of this is pretty loose so it will be really easy to pack between the bars without opening up the liner. I would love to travel with USB only devices but I really need to have my computer as a content creator. And that computer requires that I have that bulky transformer. I agree however that you should carry as little as possible when traveling so that is why that one cord is so important to me because it has three different heads on it and love you charge anything that I have with me. Thank you so much for watching and commenting and I’m so happy you’re enjoying my videos!
I think the problem on the last few flights I've taken is that the airlines are now sizing anything that looks big so while that backpack fits under the seat, it won't fit in the personal item sizer. It's ridiculous because it won't take up room up top but they'll force us to check the suitcase. Finding a personal item that will fit in the sizer and still be big enough to hold stuff like a camera, ipad and other flight comforts is hard. I do love your rollerbag though ... but it's a bit pricey if I have to check it. ;)
You’re absolutely right and I used to have a small under seat roller bag that I carry but I will say if you have long legs it’s not good to use because you can’t get your feet under the seat. I’m now resorted to either using a backpack or some sort of shoulder bag. That soft serve at as I take stuff out of it to use it gets smaller if it’s under the seat well. That’s one thing about backpacks if they don’t really get smaller, but a shoulder bag well and I’m going to do a whole video on that in a couple of weeks.. regarding that aircraft aluminum piece of luggage, it’s still my favorite to Carey because I don’t overpack when I use that. And it always fit in the overhead bin because it doesn’t expand.🙏😊❤️
Hi Karen! There is a link to the backpack it’s through the Level8 link and there’s a code for 10% off in the description for the video. Thank you so much for watching and commenting and happy shopping!

Hi Kim, thank you so much! I am so happy you are enjoying my Contant! The jacket is by Nicole Miller but it is several years old. It’s a 100% linen jacket. I so totally agree! .. my husband & i were running several errands one day when i realized i had misplaced my black suede gloves. It was very cold that day and i really needed them. After searching my black purse we wasted so much time retracing our steps all over town looking for them with no luck. Shortly after getting home i looked in my purse for something and there all along were my gloves! Ever since then i am a fanatic about not buying anything with black interior!
Hi Dawn! Thank you so much for the feedback on my videos! I am so happy that you are enjoying this content! This white linen jacket that I am wearing in the video is by Nicole Miller. It’s a few years old so I’m not sure if it’s available still. I think I bought it at TJ Maxx. There should be links in the video description. I’m not sure if I have a link for that jacket or not because it’s a little bit older, but I might’ve found something that was similar and linked it in the video description😊💕
Wonderful video. I hear some airlines are limiting the weight of carry ons to 15#. I weighed my smallest one which is an underseat bag from Travelpro, and just the case is 5# without anything in it. My smaller carry o on is by Away and is heavier. I think they just don’t want us to have more than 2 underseat bags. If you have to travel in fall, winter or spring that could present some problems.
Hi Lynn! Thank you! So happy you enjoyed that video! I have flown to 24 countries And I’ve never had my carry-on bag Weighed. TSA says a carry-on bag limit is 34 pounds. I have not reached that limit before and the aluminum luggage that I showed me putting in the overhead bin weighs 22 pounds loaded. My backpack weighs 17 pounds loaded. When I travel in the colder months I just make sure that I am wearing my puffer jacket or anything bulky and I don’t bring heavy jackets that are wool or things like that because they’re just too cumbersome. I also make sure that what I’m wearing on the plane is multiple layers so I can peel them off and then wrap them up in my scarf and use them as a pillow if I need to. This helps me lighten my luggage. It may seem like a pain to do it but the airlines are forcing us to be creative.
@@lynnleipold2617 better to be worried a little bit then not worried enough. I would look up the airlines that you’re traveling and just be sure of what their carry-on and checked bag weight limits and size limits are. And if you’re going to be taking any flights while you’re in Italy with another type of airline check with those as well because sometimes in different countries the TSA rules are different. I know that when I fly in China sometimes the overhead bins are very tiny and they cannot except some of the larger US pieces of luggage. Wishing you the best on your trip to Italy! And if you do encounter some strange or unusual TSA rules please let us know!
Hi there! Thank you so much! The white jacket by Nicole Miller and it’s linen. It has a slightly wrinkled look so it doesn’t really matter if it wrinkles a little more when I’m traveling. I got this jacket a few years back so I don’t know if it’s still available but if I find it I’ll put a link in the video description.
Excellent information. Thanks so much for sharing. One thing you mentioned about the fanny pack; if you have to put items in the carryon.. most TSA agents make you take 'everything' out of pockets, as well as take off any jackets/sweaters you may be wearing. How would you handle this?
Hi there! I wear the fanny pack to the airport and then when I go through TSA I put the whole fanny pack in one of the bins. I only have to take things out of the fanny pack if the gate agent says I can’t bring the Fannypack on and I have to put everything in my pockets and then fold the fanny pack up and put it in my backpack. I have not been asked to remove the backpack yet and I think it’s because it’s small and they don’t notice it or they just don’t care because they know it’s gonna stay on my waist. But it is definitely not a problem going through TSA with it.
Great video. My 2nd as a newbie to your channel. It sounds like some of the US rules are more strict, having to empty yr pockets? I know any jacket is put in the bin and of course their radar screen will pick up anything that is questionable. My carry on has always been the 2pc we are familiar, plus my reasonably small cross over purse which remains on me throughout the flight, having RDI wallet containing passport, cards, money, boarding pass, ticket, keys, phone. It's never been an issue for the many years I've travelled. Of course it does go,in the bin. Q. I don't recall you mentioning a "liquids" pouch?. You must be THE most organised person ever. Really enjoy all your info. Thanks from Denmark.
wow! i am so glad i came across your page. i will be traveling soon and your video gave me great ideas as i don't know how to pack small. i went to travel 8 website and they don't have the backpack you have. will check out the luggage section. thank you very much. 👍

I'm a "kitchen sink" kind of packer. I tried 3 separate times to try packing my clothes into a carryon. I gave it up as a lost cause. The clothes are no problem. It's the extras which trip me up every time.
Hi Erin, here is a link to a bag that a few viewers have used. I personally have not used it. The aircraft aluminum carry-on that I’m using is quite dirty and has withstood all of the traveling that I’ve used for. But here is the link to another aluminum bag that may fit your budget and you might like!😊 amzn.to/3OPzyJB
Thanks for this wonderful tips Eunice. Love the carry on luggage. You have the trick to put them all organized. This helps on my travel next time. Just came home from France, Its cost me extra to pay for my carry on luggage coz its too big. Waving and watching from U.K.
Thank you, Ann! Having the packing cubes in the non-expandable luggage really does keep me in a minimalist mindset and figuring out what I really need versus what I want to bring with me. Plus it’s much safer and more secure having a solid piece of luggage like this! Airlines are charging for everything these days so even though you buy a ticket you have to add on all these extra cost for luggage and food and that’s usually an extra hundred dollars or more! Thank you so much for watching and commenting all the way from the UK!

Hence I always use a small messenger bag or pouch when I travel.
the mini back scratcher key ring - genius! lol
Right! Especially when you’re traveling alone and you just need to get that itch scratched!😜
Love ❤️ your videos!!! So many great tips! Definitely would love to watch your scarf 🧣 hack for different days! Thank you 😊
@@cath4life42 that is on my list of videos to make! I think scarves are underrated and are so useful for a variety of reasons so I should probably get that video out sooner rather than later!
Thank you! It’s hard to pack little when you go for months. I wash a lot on my travels😊💕
Hi! I’m a sucker for Crossbody bags. It is the best idea ever! No more dragging heavy bags with shoulder pain. The Sophia is the one I would definitely get!

There are many others carry on weighting only 5 lbs
@@beatrizmaria1499 yes, depends on what your priority is. This suitcase is great for keeping my camera equipment safe and secure. When I am not carrying as much camera equipment I carry a lighter carry on. I have a separate video on that as well.
...and it seems that we have to keep "checking" (no pun intended) for updates on carry on limits amount of bag/dimensions. 😊
@@heatherframpton9693 yes! Unfortunately airlines are squeezing us into tighter, seats, and tighter spaces which means we have less room for even a personal carry on these days!
Yes to the security system. And I did not know that USB converters exist, such useful knowledge!😹
Hi Leslie!
I ordered this exact aluminum carry on after your review. I hope I love it as much as you do!
Thanks for the wise tip to use a non-expandable hard-sided case.
You’re so welcome, Norma! I find that’s the best way to keep me from over packing🙏😊❤️
I don't see a link to your electronics bag, I love it. TFS

I had to deplane on the slides 25 years ago so I am a *big* fan of the fanny pack or waist pack for must-have items in the event of the unexpected.
Wow! that is scary! Happy you made it off safe!
A sling/Fanny bag has been my greatest hack as of late! It’s even allowed on takeoff which I was pleasantly surprised to find out. Many, many uses.

I never thought about packing items between the bars-genius!
Yes, please show us your security system.
Hi Wendy, I made that video a while ago and the security video is now available in my travel hacks playlist on my channel❤️😊🙏
Is there a link to the backpack? Thanks for posting great tips!

After searching my black purse we wasted so much time retracing our steps all over town looking for them with no luck. Shortly after getting home i looked in my purse for something and there all along were my gloves!
Ever since then i am a fanatic about not buying anything with black interior!
Same! It’s hard to find ones that are black on the outside but colourful on the inside
@@Charlotte-bc7vj I’m looking for a backpack with a light colored interior now!
Love your videos...also love your jacket...can I ask where you got it?
Hi Dawn! Thank you so much for the feedback on my videos! I am so happy that you are enjoying this content! This white linen jacket that I am wearing in the video is by Nicole Miller. It’s a few years old so I’m not sure if it’s available still. I think I bought it at TJ Maxx. If I find one like it, I will link it in my Amazon store front and you can find that link in the video description where I have many of the things and all of my videos listed there. 🥰🙂
Oh I forgot! Could you please add the video of the FlexSafe ? Thank you
Ok! I will put a poll up and see how many people want to have this video on the flex safe and how I keep myself and all of my valuables secure when I travel!
Thank you so much for all your great tips. I looked but can't locate it on your Amazon site. Where do I find that cute white jacket you're wearing?
This is older and I could not find s link to it 🙁
Your white jacket with the pockets… link please!
There should be links in the video description. I’m not sure if I have a link for that jacket or not because it’s a little bit older, but I might’ve found something that was similar and linked it in the video description😊💕
Yes, I love that jacket also!❤
Wonderful video.
@@TheoryofSimple Thanks so much for your wonderful tips. We are scheduled to go to Sicily in mid October, and I guess maybe I am worrying too much.
Sure, will do.
I loved this video! You always have great tips. Where did you get the white jacket? It is so pretty and looks lightweight and practical.
Yes to the security video, please
Thank you, Dorothy! Coming soon!

wow! i am so glad i came across your page. i will be traveling soon and your video gave me great ideas as i don't know how to pack small. i went to travel 8 website and they don't have the backpack you have. will check out the luggage section. thank you very much. 👍
Thank you! There is a link in the video description to the backpack that I’m using. there is a discount code there as well that you should be able to get 10% off. Let me know if you have trouble getting it.
@@TheoryofSimple thank you. Before i place an order I just sent them an email if they ship to Guam.
@@annettefield4563 good Idea. Hope you are able to get something and safe travels!
I'm a "kitchen sink" kind of packer. I tried 3 separate times to try packing my clothes into a carryon. I gave it up as a lost cause. The clothes are no problem. It's the extras which trip me up every time.
Me too! I probably carry more gadgets, then clothes! I can re-wear clothes over and over, but the gadgets help me through other things! 😁
Awesome. Lovely video
Thank you! 🙂
Love love loved all the above!
Thank you so much, Melanie! 🥰
Great tips
always great, fun tips!
Thank you! 😊
Please do a security video featuring your carry on safe. Thanks
Hi there! That video was done a couple of weeks ago and you could find that on my channel in the travel hacks playlist! 😀
Sadly that carry on bag is $500, as a frequent flyer, they destroy my bags and it’s way outside of my budget. Do you have any cheaper suggestions?

Hi Eunice! Just recently found your channel and love your travel “hacks”! 😊 I was wondering where you got your little salve with the bee tin.
