Liam, such a pro and these tutorials are helping a whack of people. What is all the fame good for though, if your autograph seeking fans won't recognize you on the streets with those talking heads that look like a 60s Big Foot documentary? Keep up the great work man.
Hi, I have a problem with rendering depth AOV. Everything either looks pure black with z normalized enabled or pure black with z normalized inverted. Do you have a solution for this?
Sorry about that. It's 2.5.42. When I go to the depth AOV options. I can actually get depth pass going by disabling the "use camera near/far" option, and then fiddling around with the min and max. But I want to use the focus distance of the camera.
+Jason Moll a depth pass is so you can control the depth of field in post, like in After Effects, Nuke, Fusion, etc. It is used to save time because rendering depth of field in camera (using a render engine) can add exponential amounts of time.

what about alpha map as a sticker or label.. have your base shader then add a shader or mat on top of the one to place as a Label or sticker?
Hi Liam, wondering can i use Forester tree with redshift proxies?
+Yan not sure. I’ve never used forester. If you are able to select the objects it creates then yes.
Five 31 noted Liam. By the way is there a way to load the vdb in redshift?
Not sure how I missed this Yan. I hope you saw the VDB tutorial put out.
Five31 yes Liam, saw it. It's awesome. My only problem is that it can't scale the vdb like octane.
Yan you have to scale it in the coordinates. You can’t use the scale tool.

+Jason Moll what version of RS are you using?
I'm using 2.5.
