      If Rhys can put up with me there will be more to come! I will get a review/tutorial sorted in the next two or three weeks.

      @@lindsayiflyfish looking forward to watching you guys again,I purchased this seat as I’m a bit of a wychwood fan boy to give it a go,it comes with no instructions,I took it out twice and couldn’t get it secured,even my boat partner tried,he actually thought the ratchets where broke,last time out while standing up to play a fish it fell over to the side and broke my spare rod,I contacted wychwood who informed me they’re having an issue with the straps/ratchets coming out the factory fitted the wrong way round,and basically sorry to hear that tough luck move on😂I’ve swapped it round and it does seem better and explains why I couldn’t attach it properly I’ve still to go back out and retry it,hopefully over the next couple of days🎣this may have be stupid of me but I’ve never had this style of seat before and didn’t even think about it not been fitted properly straight out the factory,sorry for the long winded reply,many thanks and tight lines.

      @@primetime8137 that's a real downer, but at least you were safe. Excuse to buy a new rod🤔being serious the warning was a good one. Did you use the foam pad under the seat /between the base and the boat seat?

    Watched both parts now Lyndsay... It’s goodnight from me and it’s goodnight from him... My new favourite double act! As usual boys it’s first class content and equally as good entertainment. Rhys well done on the slight of hand moving that fab to your left hand in the draw in Part 1 and I’ll let you off foul hooking the first fish seeing as Lyndsay was getting them trawling at the end of Part 2😂.. Brilliant boys please keep the collaborative stuff coming, really enjoyed it! 👍👌

    Enjoyed that - thanks for posting! Question if you don’t mind... For your leader are you using regular fluorocarbon "fishing line" or fluorocarbon "tippet material"?

  • @paulatkinson4812
    @paulatkinson4812 3 роки тому +1

    I note that one of you mentioned using a midge tip. What's the benefit of a midge tip and when would you use it? Also, can you use an intermediate sink polyleader and get the same effect? Great video, by the way!

    • @lindsayiflyfish
      @lindsayiflyfish  3 роки тому +1

      The midge tip was being used by Rhys, it can help dig the nymphs in a little quicker and is worked best when the wind picked up a little. I stuck it out with the floater for the whole day and just swapped out my small booby for a blob on the point it worked very well. I dare say a sinking poly leader will do a similar job, I have always used different sink tips though so could not say for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video.

    Typically what size of buzzer do you use. I tjink i might be fishing small.

    Forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between fishing the Straight line buzzer and any other method of fishing the buzzer?

    • @lindsayiflyfish
      @lindsayiflyfish  3 роки тому

      Hi Keith, Straight lining generally means you are going to get fishing deeper. You can also fish buzzers under the bung or with a washing line. I hope that makes sense it is really over simplifying the pattern.

      @@lindsayiflyfish Thanks for that Lindsay I googled it and it gave me an incite into the method, I was thinking if you cast them out and give the line a twitch that straightens your line!!! but there is more to it lol

    • @lindsayiflyfish
      @lindsayiflyfish  3 роки тому

      I am not sure what @Rhys Fishes was using I was on 8lb Ghost Mode Fluro Carbon. I only ever use mono or copo for dries and then only in certain circumstances.

    Why are British waters stocked with rainbow trout, and American waters stocked with brown trout? This seems crazy.

    • @lindsayiflyfish
      @lindsayiflyfish  Рік тому

      I thinks we stock Rainbows because they are hardy and quick to grow on.
