Thank you so much for this video. Believe me, this is not a waste of your time. I am one of those people that just doesn’t get anything that involves measuring or numbers. I think if I watch this video a few more times, I’ll be able to make a card. Thank you for making it in a way that was easy to understand.
I’m new to your channel. Thank you for having me. I’m just getting into making cards. Thank you for this. I hate when I’m cutting paper, then I have to stop and think what is calculation of how I’m layering it. Ahhhh. You took out the guess work. Thanking you for sharing ❤️
Sending you a plethora of hugs Wendy. I've avoided cutting my own paper because I don't know how to read the ruler...until now. Thank you so very much.
Wendy, your video is perfect for my customers! They have been requesting the type of information you have given here, so with your permission, I would like to include your video on my blog. Thanks so much.
Wendy this video is awesome. You would be surprised how many people in the USA that do not know how to read a ruler or a tape measure. I explained it myself to several adults over the years and it makes one feel really good when they realize how easy it is to learn. I pray everyone on You-tube will watch your video. Thank you for sharing this information to the world. We needed it.
I'm amazed! I've been doing cards for years now and have always measured my mats in quarter inch increments. I can't believe the difference in how much better your cards look using the 1/8 inch ones. Here's proof you really CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Thanks.
Wendy I cannot even begin to thank you for this explanation!! I have watched so may other videos about reading a ruler and still never got it, the way you explain it is perfectly clear and now I am able to read a ruler! Your the BEST!! Thank you so much for sharing your time and knowledge with us!
This has been super helpful. When I grew up in Canada I learned everything in Imperial, then things changed to metric. So for me this was a much needed refresher. Thanks again! Hope you feel better soon!!
Math was NOT my best subject in school and, even though I have stamped for years, I still struggle with measurements. Thank you much for your video! It’s very helpful.
Wendy, as always great video. Great explanations. I am a Southpaw and use my trimmer upside down, with the seeing attn to the right. It's funny that once you learn to use a trimmer, trying to do it another way is foreign. I hope you get well quickly!
This video was AWESOME thanks for sharing! Do you have any helpful hints on placing the layers on when using a non-liquid adhesive? I always get it wrong then have to hope I can peal it off and try again.
Excellant info, thanks for sharing. I have a 12" ruler that I ordered through Walmart that is better than sliced bread - sort of....It is by Victor and an Easy read ruler that has all the measurements including the 16th tics marked & labeled on it. Worth every penny for those of us that can't readily read a ruler.
BEST explanation of measuring the layers. Thanks so much. :) You must be a teacher.

Thanks for this video Wendy. Living in Australia where we use metric, I always struggle with inches. You have made it much clearer! 😄
Copy that. Much clearer over measurements now. Thanks, Wendy
Tks for demo can you recommend a good paper cutter
Good morning Wendy thankyou for this information as I'm one of those people who struggle with measuring this is good advice X
Hahaha, we here in the UK have a habit of mixing our use of metric and imperial when it suits us :)

Thanks Verna! Glad you liked it. Sounds like a great ruler
Hi Wendy, I understand the measurements, however; I know others that don’t. Your basic video is excellent and I will be sharing it often.
Thank you :)
