This is certainly one of the best games I've played in a very long time. The intricate story, the music, the atmosphere, it's just extremely beautiful. A definite 10/10 from me. I wish I could honestly wipe the memory of this game from my mind so I can play it again fresh.
Have you ever heard of Outer Wilds? It hits a lot of the same notes. _(Not_ Outer Worlds. Different game entirely.) I wouldn't dig into it too much, as there are a LOT of secrets that will spoil your gaming experience. It's adorable and quite addicting.
@@lexprailius Outer Wilds is basically a purely "Metroid-brainia" style game, where your progression is measured by the knowledge you gain from exploration and discovery, and it does so very, very well. Remember how in Tunic you have all of these mechanics and shortcuts and such that you could've used the whole time, if you'd known about them, and how you can never really play the game more than the once because of that? Outer Wilds is that _all over._ Lots of cool things to see and explore, and the DLC is just as good!
I agree with this comment, although my one complaint about this game is that if you want to reach 100% completion, there where like 4-5 puzzles that i had to look up… and 2 of them thought to myself: “it is impossible to think of this solution 😅”
I remember playing this game on release, and man. For years I never understood why my dad and uncle had a love for games like Japanese cart of a link to the past until I got to play this. It’s genuinely my favorite game ever and my god everyday I wish I could go back and play it again for the first time.

My friend made this and I'm still super proud of him. It's awesome to read this :) I would hang out while he was creating it at game jams and just hanging out. It was awesome to see the process the whole way through.

Tunic is unironically my game of the year as of this moment. Nothing else I've experienced gamewise this year has come close to the sense of wonder this game filled me with.

It really opens up once you learn how to read the runic writing. Holy crap there are so many secrets, I'm not even sure this is the way you're supposed to go but it sure seems like it.
Just finished playing it. What a masterpiece! It made me recall the joy I felt when playing games as a child. This is not just a game, this is an experience and a work of art!

Tunic is one of the few games that I truly wish I could play again for the first time. This game is one of the best video games of all time. It hasn't even been a year since I finished the game, and hearing the soundtrack already sends shivers of nostalgia down my spine. I played it on Game Pass, but in my opinion, it is worth every penny of the full price. Not to mention going online after finishing the game, and finding out that there is a whole ARG connected to the game, and that there are more hidden areas and easter eggs than you could have ever thought possible. If you aren't playing this game already than you are making a serious mistake, and you are missing out big time.
It is terribly upsetting this game is so underrated and wasn't picked up by larger icons on this platform. This game is on par with Hollow Knight and should he recognized as such by many more people than it is now.
This is an incredible game that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Reminds of the Zelda series made for SNES (before the series moved to 3D with a third-person view).
[ngl a vTuber named Anny recommended this...I'm gonna have to give this a try after I play "A fox and his robot" I had my eye on that game for some time now]
Absolutely. The exploration aspect of both those games is present in tunic. The combat is pretty intense at times and reminds me of a mix of classic Zelda bosses from both 2D and 3D titles. And this game genuinely has some of the most satisfying puzzles I have ever experienced in a game before. Also if you like the lore and plot of Hollow Knight, you'll like this too. Not to mention a gorgeous soundtrack to boot.
@@James-so3qq no scrub, this is a blatant Zelda rip off but likely worth every penny. Dont be mad people are tired of your sandbox genre nonsense. Indie is superior nearly all of the time.
I would not recommend watching this trailer. There are too many "spoilers" here that can spoil the effect of surprise and discoverer. Anyway, I'm really glad I stumbled across this trailer while already at the finish line in the game. Even though there are plenty of secrets left... For Hollow Knight and Ori fans it's just MUST-PLAY! You will be not dissapointed, believe me. Definitely, in my top3 metroidvanias👍

A game at the level of Hollow Knight or Ori and the will of the wisp. A Masterpiece.
thats a heavy claim are you sure? ill have to try it then! kkkkkk
Sure, pal. Try it you don't regret it. 😉
I can vouch for them. Tunic is definitely Hollow Knight level of quality

One of the most beautiful and fucking hardest and frustrating games I’ve ever played in my life. What a journey.
It’s Link! As a fox!
The only thing I've waited from XBox for years finally!
Im digging the tilt perspective in alot of these games today. Below, hyper light drifter and flame in the flood to name a few. Cant wait to try this!
10/10 game! Loved every second of it!
I played this game, and was beautiful... 10/10
I hope that it will have a history... like zelda

def my favorite game trailer of all time closely followed by fez. absurd how good both of these games are.
One of the best gaming experienced I've ever had

The biggest surprise of 2022, this game REALLY deserves an award!
I need The Legend of Vulpine in my life.
I mean Zelda with Foxes.
I mean TUNIC.
Came for the cuteness and puzzles, stayed for the entire ride.
For my age the old school snes Zelda life man. I’m downloading it now. Gotta get into high on life first thou!

Did you try it? Did you like it?
definite Zelda vibes from this, especially with the name. Looks dope
I'll put this on my wish list / game to play bucket list ❤

This game is such a beauty and a gem. ♥
less than 10/10 is injustice
@7SO okay okay 10/10 my mistake.
Oh yeah, I've been looking forward to this one for sure
Best game I've played last 2 years
Reminds me of the classic legend of zelda
A Masterpiece...
Being a fan of foxes I love the lead in this.
a masterpice of game 10/10 (need a second part of this)
The kind of game that is so good you always want to play, but you take breaks because you don’t want it to end.
I accidentally got to a higher level area with an accidental firecracker
Excelente ambiente música y jugabilidad ❤❤❤❤
Hype for my physical edition for PS4 😍
THE XBOX FOXY LINK!!
The new legend of Zelda is looking cool.

An amazing hidden gem of a game. If you ever enjoy A Link To The Past or any top down Zelda games, PLAY THIS GAME!
Random Guardsman: AH! *runs away *
This game is a god tier puzzle game! If you haven't seen it don't spoil it just play it (basically anything you watch will be a spoiler).

10/10 consider full price but DEFINITELY buy on a sale.
Deaths Door was great, but this is seriously on another level

thank god
This is like a copy of Kingsley's Adventure for PS1 🙄
