Joe Smith mirror mastic is a sub par product as far as i am concerned. it is silicone based and never truly "dries" get PL400 and some butyl tape. any reputable glass shop will know what you're asking for. don't risk your limbs. do it right.

whats the name of the glue you used?
Only use the special type of the adhesive. These are inexpensive and will not stain the silver back. Normal silicone is not good.

Called "mirror adhesive" in Canada, I discovered (after searching fruitlessly for "mirror mastic").

Can one use butyl tape alone when replacing a bathroom mirror. No drill here and was curious if there was another route.
