The thermal bags should be checked by every outlet before they give out an order to a driver/rider. It was quite a long delivery, 20+ mins from leaving the store and the driver just had it sat on back seat, no thermal bag. Quite right too. If you don't have the thermal bag with you in the restaurant, you are not getting the food handed over to you. Customer is always first.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad drivers out there and many of these apps' refund policy is horrible. I had a guy literally spill every single drink I ordered with Starbucks, not giving a damn about it, and Uber giving me a $5 voucher as a refund, even if I sent a photo and explained the whole situation. I've never used Uber Eats from that day on.

I work for a McDonald’s restaurant in Reading, a fair bit of the time I’m in charge of delivery and am super strict with any driver regular or not, no bag no food simple as, they always try saying “oh it’s in the car/attached to the motorbike, but as standard no bag no food as we need to be able to guarantee it will be kept hot on its journey to the customer
I deliver pizza in Adelaide Australia. Fridays and Saturdays are almost always busier than Sunday. I have thought that there would be people that are broke by Sunday evening
Round where I live the drivers always put the hot food in the same bag as the ice cold drinks/milkshake/McFlurry etc. So the hot food gets cold and the cold stuff warms up/melts🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Man... Uber eats cancelled my account with no explanation... just a bunch of jargon by email about gps apps, which were completely false! I was 99% customer service and had been working for 3yrs on that account! Absolutely appalling from the company... Like you say man, it seems like the only people that are safe are the guys who record everything! None the less, I'm part of the JustEat fam now, which has superior partner customer service and better pay! So... be careful with job security with Uber... They were unbelievably horrendous with treating longtime workers.... just a heads up to anyone who's thinking of working for them! Great Channel man... good work London Eats! Telling it like it is!✌🤙🙏
Here in the USA, we call couriers who don’t use a thermal bag, “raw doggers” 🤣 I use a delivery bag but it’s strapped to my e-bikes rack so maybe that rider was telling the truth? Hard to tell because rawdoggers have pretty much ruined the trust of customers and restaurants so I do i understand the frustration from KFC. He could’ve just shown a photo of his delivery setup showing that he had a thermal bag strapped to his bike.
I will always leave a like as I have been in your 🥾's ... Keep going bro!! Fantastic videos and this is great exposure to what this career choice is really like👍
I worked with uber eats in paris/suburbs and I had a similar experience with kfc where the employee gave me a hard time because my bag was fixed to my bag and I didn't take it with me to the restaurant. The employee didn't want to give me the order as long as I didn't bring my bag inside even tho I showed them the thermal bag through the window where my bike was
People are using Shift grabbers to get all the open runs. An open run shift will appear and then get taken INSTANTLY. Just Eat are supposed to clamp down on this type of activity as it is considered illegal. It seems like there is always someone using a shift grabber app.
I had the same issue with a driver not having a bag picking up deliveries on Sunday. They shouldn’t give the orders to the driver unless they show they have a delivery bag. Apparently the staff have told him before and he wouldn’t listen.
I deliver part-time for one particular restaurant in my town as a side job, they are connected to Just Eat / Kangaroo / Uber Eats and from each of these we have at least 4 bags stored so there are no excuses whatsoever for us to go out without a thermal bag. If I order a take-away I also expect it to be fresh and still warm / hot when it is delivered. So I will treat other people's food with the same respect and get it delivered as fresh and warm as possible. Very enjoyable episode again man! 💚 Oh what I wanted to ask, you are always very aware of where to park your bike due to the fact that they are so strict in London if you park in a restricted zone, since you guys only park for a minute or so to collect freshly prepared food, would there not be some leeway for you guys? So if you could just park for a minute in front of restaurants it would make your work even more enjoyable. ^^
I'm so happy that food delivery services in my country are much more strict when it comes to thermal bags. I couldn't imagine repeatedly receiving my food cold. I'd never order again if that kept happening

I have had delivery shifts like this where everything is not going my way
You should post “bad shifts” more often.
8:38 Nice Otos Gen2 elevator they got there.
They are a pain in the arse when you have to reline them to meet modern day DDA standards😀
£10 an hour? But then the time, the fuel cost, insurance, dangers of driving - leave it man
Your videos got recommended for me, and for some reason I ejnoy it! 😁
Enjoying your videos man. No way do I have the dexterity required for this job.
Yeah.... for some insane reason....
I just like watching you work, and listening to you waffle :)
More juet pressing record please ser *salutes*
But in all fairness.... I also like to watch post 10... so * smiles *
Excellent - I don't like many people .
I like this guy.
I totally agree london eats some days we have good days and some days we dont. Thats just life man but either way love your videos bro your an absolute legend thank you so much I really appreciate it. 🤜🤛
When I did deliveries for a couple of year, KFC was the only company I banned outright for their rudeness and unnecessary aggression.
I won’t use Just Eat anymore because of their service charge, it’s a con
Telling it like it is!✌🤙🙏
The "city" where I live is always dead. You would think rich people but no as soon as i go to the suburbs/downtown it picks up.
Here in the USA, we call couriers who don’t use a thermal bag, “raw doggers” 🤣
I use a delivery bag but it’s strapped to my e-bikes rack so maybe that rider was telling the truth? Hard to tell because rawdoggers have pretty much ruined the trust of customers and restaurants so I do i understand the frustration from KFC. He could’ve just shown a photo of his delivery setup showing that he had a thermal bag strapped to his bike.
gotta love the frequent uploads
I will always leave a like as I have been in your 🥾's ... Keep going bro!! Fantastic videos and this is great exposure to what this career choice is really like👍
I worked with uber eats in paris/suburbs and I had a similar experience with kfc where the employee gave me a hard time because my bag was fixed to my bag and I didn't take it with me to the restaurant. The employee didn't want to give me the order as long as I didn't bring my bag inside even tho I showed them the thermal bag through the window where my bike was
Well at least I know who took that open shift the other day 🤣 1:24
Hahaha no way was that you that dropped the shift!?!? I randomly went on the app and saw it sitting there 😅
People are using Shift grabbers to get all the open runs.
Should report the driver
Love your videos just subscribed x
Love your hardwork and hustle 😍😍
Appreciate showing a slower shift
I'd hate having to navigate all those people and cars! Looks way too chaotic.
Whoohooo new video. Cheers up the day
Even though it wasn't the best shift, at least you didn't get a parking ticket.
Oh what I wanted to ask, you are always very aware of where to park your bike due to the fact that they are so strict in London if you park in a restricted zone, since you guys only park for a minute or so to collect freshly prepared food, would there not be some leeway for you guys? So if you could just park for a minute in front of restaurants it would make your work even more enjoyable. ^^
I'm so happy that food delivery services in my country are much more strict when it comes to thermal bags. I couldn't imagine repeatedly receiving my food cold. I'd never order again if that kept happening
Yes but who wants to deliver food in your country?
imagine cooking for yourself
