Also in the Kiswahili of Dar es Salaam they say the English words like for example to say " I expect " they say "Nategemea" instead of "Nataraji or Natarajia". Intead of saying "Afadhali" they say " Bora" . Actually Nategemea is to "Depend on" and "Bora " means Better or Best . You see ?

Tanzanians should never accuse Kenyans of not knowing Swahili. If we were to take an exam today, most of your average Tanzanians will fail, SPECTACULARLY. They fail to take into consideration lafudhi, lahaja and all that comes with the two. Actually, most Tanzanians only speak Swahili that has a Swahili accent to it. Just that. If you start examining their Swahili properly, very few pass the test. For instance, your average Tanzanian cannot pronounce R properly in most words that require a proper intonation. I could go on until tomorrow, but that is just the basic part of it.

In Dar es Salaam the Kiswahili is very much affected by latters "r" and "l". Where there's "r" they pronounce "l" and where there is "l" they pronounce" r". You see ?
I agree with you..but you guys what is wrong your tongues? What is so difficult to pronounce some words properly for example "Tume ya IEBC" someone says "Tume ya IEMBIC", Simple word "Jogoo" someone will say "Jongoo" its like your tongues need to be greased😂
@NPY2024 that's not true for all Kenyans , most Kenyans are able to speak good grammar and pronunciation. Ukimpata mKenya anaetamka Jongoo badala ya Jogoo basi fahamu kuwa hiyo ni athari ya lugha za mikowani. Lakini pia "Jogoo" ni Kuku wa kiume aliyekomaa na "Jongoo" ni mdudu mweusi mwenye miguu mingi sana anaetambaa ardhini
@@jimmyodari5487 What does “mikowani” mean? Is it Swahili? If so, it seems incorrect.
My brother I know you having a tough time 😅

I'm sorry to say that the first person is very much primitive and unexposed. You can not say that you do not understand Kenyans when they speak swahili. Ati Kenyans do not speak kiswahili. Kiswahili chenu watanzania ni kibovu mwanzo lakini hampendi kuamini. Mkenya akizungumza sheng haimaanishi ati hajui kiswahili. He must understand that Kenya has different accents. He can not say that the Kenyan coastal people do not know kiswahili just because their accent is different from theirs. He seems to be hard headed. Ni chaguo la kila mmoja kuzungumza lugha anayo ipenda. Watanzania ni ndugu zetu.
Good content though!
I used to speak such english while in class 1....i offer classes....
Si hawa watu watatapika damu kwa hii kizungu yote
Tanzanians should never accuse Kenyans of not knowing Swahili. If we were to take an exam today, most of your average Tanzanians will fail, SPECTACULARLY. They fail to take into consideration lafudhi, lahaja and all that comes with the two. Actually, most Tanzanians only speak Swahili that has a Swahili accent to it. Just that. If you start examining their Swahili properly, very few pass the test. For instance, your average Tanzanian cannot pronounce R properly in most words that require a proper intonation. I could go on until tomorrow, but that is just the basic part of it.
So everyone is speaking funny English here mr Afro Connect sssebo dont you correct them bambi anyway much love from Nairobi
Zey spik sheng ni nini😂😂😂😂
Huyu kijana wa kwanza ana stereotype kwamba hatujui kiswahili 😮😅 kiswahili is our second national language
English and Swahili are both Kenya official languages,
