Real talk… what about Vaginal dryness? I had my period until 58 ( I had a baby at 53) I finally spoke to my OBGYN and got on HRT, a year later I feel great no signs or symptoms. But then the vaginal dryness/painful sex came about. Spoke to my doc again and found out my testosterone was basically non existent so they added that in and gave me vaginal estrogen. Game changer in my experience. I’m more active, feel stronger, gaining muscle and no more painful sex. I’ll be 60 in December and I feel wonderful! For me, win win. 🎉 👏
Thank you for the tips! ❤Amazing! I am in my mid 50's, not in menopause yet, had a child before my 50's, & that is a true blessing you had a child at 53! You look Great & very healthy! ⚘️
Did your GP doctor prescribe testosterone cream or did you get referred to gyno ? They usually start with localized estrogen cream, after a mammogram they start estrogen/progesterone HRT and then add testosterone if needed. When will doctors recognize testosterone is essential for women too 🤓
@@samchan6482 congratulations!!!!! That’s amazing!!! The other people will only be jealous because they don’t have sex! 😘if you live for others that’s really tough life. Congrats again!!! Take care of yourself.
Thank you for this video. I am 55 (today) and when the first signs of menopause hit, I was terrified. What was happening to me did not make sense and as I tried to get used to one change and another one happened. Hot flashes, acne on my chin, hairs on my chin, mood swings, a big drop in endurance despite running almost every day, trouble sleeping long enough, my body composition shifting slightly, and so on. I notice that the more I stay away from anything processed, the better I feel. That said, I am still in the middle of it....
I’m 49, an avid runner but my running has seriously declined in the last year. I definitely have to take a lot more time stretching going for a run as I have body aches now and joint pain and I don’t have the motivation like I used to. Dr Mindy promotes longer fasting , which I’ve tried, but Fasting for more than 20 hours makes me more lethargic and not wanting to go for a run. The lack of sleep is making me drink more coffee, but the more coffee I drink it seems like the more tired I get I don’t know what’s going on, but I hate this change.
Or you can just drink a glass of soy milk every day. That helped me. There is a reason why Asian women suffer significantly less from menopausal symptoms... soy products are much more often included in their diet. Soy contains phythohormones, which makes the transition easier.
Make sure they look at your kidneys, my mom complained about this for 10 years and was told menopause or overactive bladder. It was an atrophied kidney & cysts 🤦♀️
Another amazing hack for body odour i found was using benzoyl peroxide 5% face wash and rub a pea size amount under each armpit and leave for 30 seconds each time you shower (after an initial wash) and no more body odour. It does not dry the skin, it just kills the bacteria in your armpits that causes odour, and allows your deodorant to work more effectively. Every one of my girlfriends are using this to brilliant effect. It's over the counter and fairly cheap and you only need the smallest amount each wash. ❤
If used sparingly it causes no adverse affects to the body. There are more dangerous chemicals in most of the foods people choose to eat. The air we breath, and in sunscreens.
So glad I saw your video! My mom passed away when I was a kid and don’t feel comfortable asking any of these questions!! So thanks so much for sharing! ❤
I am so blessed I am 51 and got my menopause at 48 and have absolutely no symptoms at all. I also lost 50 lbs last year and I think it helps so much being at a healthy weight. I love myself more now and I am feeling better than in my 40’s ! 💟
I'm 47 now with a pre teen and a 14 year old. My body just feel weird. All of a sudden I've got this fat face and swollen tummy. What did you eat to help with weight loss. I do stress a lot and don't really eat a lot.
@ thank you so much for replying to my comment what I did is eating smaller portions and completely stopped drinking sodas regular and diet. I also go for one hour walks 4 to 5 times a week and always get 8 to 10 hours of sleep. It took me about 8 months to lose about 50 pounds and I have maintained my healthy weight for over a year. I also really cut fast food in favour of healthier restaurants when I went to eat out. Wishing you all the best success if I could do it I am certain you can definitely do it too ! 💪💟☺️
How did you not end up with loose, saggy, crepey skin from the weightloss?? I was 130lbs went down to 100lbs then lost 10 more from microscopic colitis. Back up to 100lbs but my skin is so loose, saggy, crepey, wrinkled I have to hide my body. I miss my 130lb body😭. I atleast had boobs, an ass and looked youthful. 😞. God bless you!!💕
It was the opposite for me! My whole life I had a problem with deodorants not working... After menopause (it's been 1 year) suddenly, I don't need deodorant anymore! It's so amazing!!!
One of the worst things for me, apart from constantly being hot when others are wearing scarves, beanies, huge coats - I am wearing a singlet!!! Is the ITCHING, in bed at night, I scratch constantly- mainly my hair, face, backs of knees, my neck, just about everywhere!!! Drives me mental!
Try lume lotion...it worked for me as I was scratching to the point of bleeding. It did take a couple of weeks though & it's expensive, so wait for sales.
@specialk1627 I just started going through menopause earlier this year. That was one of my first symptoms aside from having a very light period to no period at all. The itching I had was 24/7 100% worse at night I could barely sleep at all, I scratched my skin until it bled, I bought almost everything that prevents itching on the market except Benadryl because I knew that would put me to sleep for a few days😂. I finally went to my Doctor, she referred me to see a Oncologist to rule out having Cancer😡. Really?? WTH?? I'm a nurse it's not my experience but I began doing my research it appeared to be hormonal in my opinion therefore I refused to follow up with the Oncologist and all the testing he recommended. It took about 5 weeks or so before the itching finally stopped completely. Then the hot flashes began to kick in at that point I realized it was menopause. I haven't seen my Doctor ever since she's been my Doctor for over 20 years, I thought she was great especially with being a woman herself but obviously not. What an idiot is all I can say because not one time did she mention it could possibly be menopause...
48 here.. no period for 288 days until 2 days ago. Ughhhhhhh! I honestly thought this was it. I've been going through hell for 8yrs!!!! Sex really hurt at 40. Partner of 11yrs walked out. No interest in sex anymore. Can't stand men anymore. Don't know myself. I hate it all.
@@TracyCampoli thankyou. Cannot believe they came after that long. So is that normal?? How on earth do in know when they'll be back! It was so weird. I only had to get to January ffs lol Thankyou for your reply and sending love back to youuu ❤️
Awwww…I wanna say….i really adore you for posting this! It’s as if you’re speaking for some of us here too!!! We are all going to be ok!!! I’m so happy I found this channel!
Tracy, you had me at body odor. Seriously. Pits gone wild! Even my doctor had NO answers for me. Just happy to hear SOMEbody talk about the REALITY of the pit STANK!
Thank you so much for making this video! When you spoke about the itchy dry skin all over and the change in body odor I had a Eureka moment. I had a sneaking suspicion it had something to do with getting older but never made the connection to menopause. It's comforting to know that you are not alone in this journey. Reading through the comments has been reassuring with all the helpful suggestions from others. Menopause affects us all in a myriad of ways and it's like trying to solve an ever changing puzzle. It can be very discouraging. I have noticed that getting outside and exercising has been a huge help.
Hot flashes tip: working out makes them go away! At least it did for me. I got a membership, a trainer and it wasn’t long after I started that they stopped! I was like, “Yes!” So worth it! ❤
I use to be for but peri had me with high BP .. in meds for that. I feel dizzy even walking fast now. Like I could pass out. So it doesn't work for everyone. I wish I could when out and get my body back! Maybe when I'm part this horrible moments
@@jackiebennett3762 hahhahaha that doesn’t work either…. Nor does sitting outside at 1 degree c with ice packs and eating ice cubes. Stop projecting what may work for you. HRT worked for me.
I 100% believe this because I think I missed my menopause symptoms but lost my period when I worked out everyday! I never imagined it was me o because I was too young. I stopped completely at 45 and felt great other than some flushing here and there and milder symptoms.
48 here and my obgyn just retired, so feeling completely lost at sea. Omg! Yes! 2 years prior to my first real meno symptoms, I was running miles daily, lifting weights multiple times a week. I felt healthy and strong. Fast forward to now? I have no endurance for running, my joints ache for weeks if I try any sort of resistance training, I've lost all of my toned muscle, and I've gained 30 pounds. It has thrown me for such a loop. One day, my mood is good, and I'm super productive and feeling proud. The next day, I have total task paralysis and can hardly get out of bed from exhaustion. The weird body smells? Omg! I asked my hubby and family if they were smelling a weird funk? They all said no. It wasn't in the air! It was me. Like my essence was one of just ick! Dry itchy skin. Weird breakouts. Dry frizzy hair and itchy scalp. Soft painful nails. When you step back and look at everything listed out like this, it is shocking and disheartening. I'm on estrogen, which helps some symptoms, but certainly not most. I want to feel healthy and powerful again. Not like some old fuddy duddy. I'm only 48! I have lots of life left to live. I want to enjoy it, not just survive it. Sorry for the oversharing ladies. 💙
I have had beyond bad armpit odor and recently I decided to wax my armpits for the first time for vacation. It instantly removed all my problems with odor. Yes it hurt pretty badly but now that I know I don’t have to stress about stinking I will continue to wax.
Here's a tip to get natural deodorant you can take on the go. Get a small atomizer bottle and fill it with alcohol and a few drops of essential oil. I like frankincense. It doubles as sanitizer. If alcohol sounds too irritating for you, fill your atomizer bottle with rose water, it's also antibacterial and very effective as deodorant.
Hey! New here. Just found your channel randomly & i loved the content. I'm 43 & work in the beauty industry. This kinda stuff never gets talked about openly. I've shared things like this (especially the chin hair thing) with so many of my female clients & they're always glad to know its not just them. It happens to us all. It's normal! New sub here❤
New here!! I'm 45 years old and started have all menopause systems started getting bad headache and a neurologist sail i had epilepsy put me on hard!!! Meds well I've NEVER!!!!!!had a seizure! Run all text was negative!!! I guess what I'm saying be careful doctors will put you on anything!!!!! Please do your research!!
The vaginal odor/ sweating around the bum/ private area is a new thing for me in this journey. I found that boric acid vaginal suppositories help to neutralize the ph level, and the odor seems to go back to normal.
I started menopause very early. I had my last period at 43. I started sweating so much and I couldn’t really find a deodorant that worked for me. The hot flashes I have to this day and I’m 65. I don’t have the hot flashes as bad but they’re still there. The insomnia is the worst!! I was literally sleeping about 20 minutes at a time. I was so sleep deprived that during the day I was forgetting things.
@@ninimimi2906 There is A LOT of HRT misinformation, outdated, false claims that are now being debunked. I would clarify Truth from Fiction from those in the know based on confirmed scientifically based facts and data.
Thank you, your suggestions are awesome. The "hot flashes" are annoying...Nowadays I take two showers a day, at night before going to bed and first thing in the morning due to night sweats. During the day I'm fine the flashes are quick and minimal... But every woman is different... Perfume and deodorant are a must have and a must use. My face/skin actually looks better these days (no acne issues) but I must moisturize and especially my feet... I use lotion but mostly natural oils. I also carry in my purse body wipes, those are very helpful. Another tip I can share is that after applying makeup always spray your face with makeup setting spray so that the hot flashes don't ruin your makeup application. I'm 50+
Those of us with surgical menopause have a clear view of the situation. You're the first I've heard discuss odor. I used regular antipersperent and within a couple of months it just stopped working. I switched to hand sanitizer which worked for over 10 years and now I'm back to commercial stuff.
Hi Tracy, juste discovered you on UA-cam and I love your videos! I'm 52 (almost 53), American living in Belgium, have been in perimenopause for almost 10 years (YES 10 YEARS) and now I think that the big M has finally arrived. I'm relieved. I love your honesty and it feels good to see a gorgeous gal like you having the same problems I encounter (don't take it wrong). Don't have many friends and my husband is the person I talk to the most, he's adorable but it isn't the same as talking with women about these things.
Hi Traci. Everything you have said here has a ring of familarity! I have read the comments from the wonderful people who have also watched the video, and now I know that I am in good company. My sister and I have always talked about feminine issues, and I am happy to see the number of women who have shared their concerns and have offered suggestions. I have been struggling with perfume scents and wondered why they do not smell the same anymore. Scents that I have loved and enjoyed over the years have now become offensive. Oh, the changes that a woman's body goes through! This video is very informative. Thanks for sharing!! ❤. You've just got a new subscriber. Will be sharing this video with family and friends.
I became post menopausal at 51. No symptoms except the period stopped. Then, exactly 2 days after my 56th birthday, the avalanche of symptoms descended upon me I thought I was dying. Moreso, I had it during the Covid era, and thought I was dying of covid. Luckily, my daughter who's an ob/gyn doctor and her husband a surgeon sat me down to "explain" to me whatever. The blood pressure, blood sugar, memory issues, the cranky mood, dry mouth dry eyes dry skin, everything dried out. Well, it was a gradual recovery process, I recovered and I hit 60 this year. No more symptoms, but, the pain in my right pelvis didn't disappear. I take vitamin, omega 3 and I lift 4kg weights on both hands, 3 times a week. The right pelvic pains are still there most times. I guess I'll have to live with it??
Eek! Go for walks instead. Too many side effects with SSRIs. Find a friend to join you, listen to music, podcasts, or enjoy the silence. My friend tried to delete herself while on Zoloft.
@@avalancherose I am afraid I also suffer from Hashimotos Disease (autoimmune thyroid) and taking thyroid medication. I read Some women on BHT report changes in thyroid function, such as requiring higher doses of levothyroxine.
Omg. Im in it. The hot flashes and inability to sleep throughout the night is just ...horrid. random "fly legs" (hair) sprouting on my chin and it's the worst.
Fermented food is good for your gut, but it also is high in histamine. Many women develop higher levels of histamine in their body. It's a natural part of your biosystem, but it may increase during peri and menopause. Fermented food on top might lead to histamine flares and allergic reactions. Check your diet for histamine-rich food (like old hearty cheese, red wine, ...) then.
I found deodorants weren't working. Also, the fragrance in them were mingling with my natural body odour and making me feel nauseous. I switched to Salt of the Earth salt stick. It lasts for months. It still allows the body to perspire, but there is no odour. You can keep it in the shower cubicle and rub it under your wet armpits after showering. It has been a game changer.
I just caught this particular video. I’ve been suffering with menopausal symptoms now for the past few years and it is annoying. I’m a nurse and while I knew what the symptoms would be experiencing them as another level. My biggest concern is the weight gain. I already have a hard time losing weight now it seems like I can’t lose even an ounce.
I’m 39 and the past 3 years I’ve felt so weird in my own body. I don’t have hot flashes but I get night sweats bad! My clothes and bedding are soaked when I wake up. I feel like menopause is on its way.
@@lo7775 I'm 49 and have had this since 35 or so. Right before and during my period. Seriously soooo annoying. Wake up with headaches too during that time. Try Black Cohosh or Sage supplements.
Hope it's not the case, but fyi blood cancer causes night sweats (I know because I have lymphoma and had drenching night sweats prior to chemo). Maybe run this symptom by your physician just to be safe.❤
@ I’m probably healthier than 90% of people my age. I eat clean and go to the gym 5 days a week. The reason I noticed these changes is because I’m so in tune with my body.
Omg Im 40 and got a radical hysterectomy last month so i have surgical menopause and i really really needed this video ..thankyou so much!!!!!!! Thankyou thankful
Im 40 and have noticed my nose hairs have been trying to say hello more often than I would like. No deodorant has worked for me and this is the one that bothers me the most. Like I smell within minutes of putting deodarant on. Scrubbing barely helps. I am definitely gonna give the one you recommend a try. Yup, sensory overload is more common with me lately too. Im so glad its not just me and not going crazy!!
Has anyone noticed little "bumps" around your chin or under your jawline? This is not acne at all. Its tiny bumps that are not red but noticeable. I cover them with makeup and they are a little less noticeable but still there. Have NO clue how they appeared or what they are. They are not painful or inflamed. Just there!!! UGGH! Has anyone experienced this?
Post-menopausal. I still have hormonal fluctuation at the same time of the month, every month. I have all of the same symptoms I had when I was still having a period, except for the outward “show” and the cramping (of course). I also get severe lower back, knee, and old injury pain, at that time of the month, due to the even lower levels of estrogen; which is a natural anti-inflammatory. I also get hormonal headaches and overall/general/widespread inflammatory symptoms, during that time. Two years into this, I’m finally pursuing bio-identical HRT. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼
I’m 48. I just started losing my hair! I never thought I would have e to worry about my hair. It’s the one compliment I’ve gotten my whole life. Also my scalp started getting greasy about a year ago. Never had that. It’s so depressing. Lol
Start with a hair, scalp treatment . If your scalp is moisturized it will help. I had hair loss but treated it and it worked. Also eating lots of eggs makes a huge difference to the hair .
@@soulsparkadventures TY crazy you say those 2 things. I started a clarifying scalp shampoo a while back and started eating more eggs for the protein. lol. I’ll continue! I wonder if I need to use a better shampoo and conditioner however. Ty so much. It’s been really shocking to see how much hair I’m losing. Xo
Omg! I just turned 60 and you are the ONLY person I've ever heard/seen mention body odor as a sympton. I thought it was in my head that my under arms changed, but the smell kept screaming, "This is different." I thought I was going crazy. While things have significantly calmed down since I first experienced that sudden change years ago, I still have never gone back to how I used to be. I could actually go without deodorant but now I could NEVA! Will try the Chrystal deodorant.
Omg Tracy these symptoms are totally gross.since the age of 39. I have insomnia.i don't even drive a car.just like you i only have 1 son(he is 23).i wanted a daughter so bad but i was also infertile at age 39.i hate the insomnia, hot flushss and i also noticed dry skin and sweating a. Im 49 also. Menopause has been cruel but good. My hair texture has changed. Always been very straight haired. Now I have beautiful waves from my ears down. It's frail feeling and very fine. Smell is something I've noticed that has increased, too.
Great information! I just wanted to share that I reversed my menopause symptoms, and it has truly changed my life for the better. Thank you for bringing awareness to this topic!

I'm new here and subscribed! 20 years in menopause and not one of my providers ever talked about this with me. I was sent into instant menopause at age 38, due to an emergency hysterectomy! I never had body odor until then! I played sports through high School and college, would get drenched with sweat and still not smell!! But now? And my taste and smell are off, but i thought it just bever went away after having COVID. My emotiobs are all over the place. Still . .

OMG! Constipation is so real at age 50, suffering from IBS for years it only got worse in my late forties. Now I’m very diligent with my supplements & foods. So many triggers to take note.
I find that a drop of castor oil rubbed in my belly button before bed helps with constipation and relieves the problem the next day. I am the biggest sceptic and I continued with all of the over the counter medications for a while with varying results before I tried it. I bought the castor oil for cosmetic use but I was thrilled to discover that it helped with 💩.
Everything you discuss is helpful in normalising menopause symptoms but please don't consistently use the word 'gross' to describe what is happening to women. We are all amazing, beautiful females with careers, children, families etc; and despite the menopause we carry on doing our best for ourselves and others. A bit of extra body hair or need for a bit more deodorant does not take away from the miracle of our loving, feminine essence! ❤
It is gross! It makes me feel gross and it is disgusting. I’m having a very hard time with almost every damn symptom of menopause. So not fair that men don’t have to go through anything.
I’ve been post menopause for 9 years I wish there were videos like this (may have been and I didn’t know) when I was going through all of this looking back mine started in my late 30’s early 40’s I think I had every symptom and thought something was terribly wrong with me 😂 now I know I probably was not alone but felt that way 😱
Tracy, thanks for introducing Pique! I couldn't find anything on their website, so I contacted them and found out their products are all vegan! I used your special offer to order. I can hardly wait to get them in the mail and start using them. Thank you! ❤
It's so sad that Europeans and Western world forgot the benefits of pickled vegetables and only know about kimchi: we had all sorts of pickled vegetables for winter from our own gardens: cabbage, squashes, carrots, beets, zucchini, bell pepper, tomatoes and, of course, cucumbers.
@@julijakeit I would add, fermented vegetables we made since I can remember sauerkraut, fermented pickles these are the probiotic rich foods that should be eaten everyday 😊
@@RoksanaK77Perhaps a dumb question, but I risk it.., what's the difference between those jared cucumbers, beetroots and others, in vinegar (and other stuff) that you buy in store, and so called pickled vegetables? Aren't they all pickled? I get that of course it's much better doing it yourself with fresh vegs, but other than that, I don't really understand the difference?
@@anniesimone Some vegetables are pickled and some are fermented. To pickle vegetables you use vinegar, water and spices that’s how you get the sour taste. When you ferment vegetables you don’t use vinegar it’s only water with salt, spices and depending on what you ferment for cucumbers usually you add horseradish root, garlic, dill. The fermentation process makes it sour to taste but the most important creates probiotics which are great for gut health. immune system, digestion, helps with inflammation in the body and more. So pickles vegetables are tasty but fermented vegetables are tasty and very healthy for you. I hope I answered your question.
Great video!! Compounded oral progesterone and topical compounded testosterone cream has been a game changer for me. Testosterone- energy and Progesterone- no more night sweats and aids in sleep.
Wash hair with a good shampoo and then use a hair scrub with salicylic acid. I found out Dandruff occurs on oily hair so I changed my shampoo to oily hair type.

Hi Tracy!! I’m a new sub as of today! October 28th 2024! I’m also 49!! Born in June of 1975!❤ Those darn chin hairs are SO ANNOYING!! YUCK!!! I pluck the 3 to 5 thick ones I get and I buy an 8 pack of Demaplaners as often as needed!! I started using them for my makeup routine and noticed how nicely it works for my other “hairs” on my chin and upper neck that that aren’t like “piano wires” they are much softer but still very annoying!! I’m also embarrassed but I have to say this…. Why do we get nipple hairs??!! I get like 2-3 on my right breast and 1-2 on my left breast?!!! WTH!??! My Dr says it’s normal and that we start to get hair in “different places!!” 😫😳🫣🥴 I pluck them but it hurts! I also relate SO MUCH WITH THE HANDS 🙌🏻 yikes!!!😱 I’m Irish and very pale but you can see my veins and my skin is So old looking 😭 Also I’m so grey! I have to get my roots colored every 6 weeks! It’s so expensive!! I have an IUD in me and I still get a light period so I’m not in menopause yet but I know I’m close!! I have so many symptoms!! I also have a lot of SK’S (age spots) (Sebborhic Keratoses)-Sp? My dermatologist burns them off by freezing them with liquid nitrogen I think? I also take Vitamin D3 (125 mcg), Flaxseed Oil (instead of fish oil) and Super B-Complex with Folic Acid and vitamin C. My Dr knows all of this and it helps me very much for many different reasons! I used to be more of a pear shape and now I’m a pear shape with a “Fupa” Ew…😢 How do i get rid of that and lose weight?!! Im overweight and hate it… The only time I weighed between 127 and 160 (I’m 5’6) was when I ate terribly (not eating much at all to stay slim from age 17 to age 32 and the scale has been going up for 17 yrs little by little… I DO take a prescribed medication that can cause weight gain unfortunately, but works excellent for my situation… Thank you so Much for reading this is if you did Tracy! And thank you to anyone else on Tracy’s channel who read my long comment!! ❤Kim
I've spent a fortune trying different bedsheets because my skin has become super sensitive, and the sheet fibres prickle my skin. Linen, hemp, bamboo, different thread counts of cotton. Still hunting for the ideal bed linen.
I drink a mix of loose leaf tea daily. I add moringa, cocoa powder and cinnamon, or nutmeg (i use nutmeg 2-3x a week), and i drink a collagen mix every day. Great for bone strength. I also take pro and previtalize daily and use castor oil on my belly and joints, and a little bit on certain spots on my face. I also put a little in my face cream.
Thank God I don't have any problems, I haven't gained the same weight as in my twenties, plus my hair is phenomenally thick, long and doesn't fall out like other women.😊
The truth is cator oil can be extremely drying due to the type of lipids in it. It can also contribute to the loss of fat under skin and give the opposite effect.
I have zero body odor. I have no arm pit hair at all. Soft and hair free.no smell. I do have hot flashes at night. No sweating. Used to have shocking migraines..but they have gone.
Great points in this video. Im not here to gatekeep so i have to let the ladies know that taking grass fed gelatin every day (i take two tablesooons a day in hot tea or coffee) has been incredible for my skin and nails. Its also cheaper than expensive collagen with the same amino acids. Id advise looking into it. :)
I had my very last period at the beginning of 2019. My youngest were born a week after I turned 30. The women in my family are notorious for having children late into their 40's. I have 6 kids, two sets of twins. I got "spayed" if you will. My tubes cut out and sewn shut. Only symptoms I have are extreme hot/cold flashes. I'm thinking I'm grateful.
Hey, new to your channel. The thing that is overlooked is that the estrogen levels increase in menopause, not decrease - but the progesterone that is the hormon that balances the estrogen & testosterone levels in the body decreases. Try look into that - it really explains a lot. Progesterone can be bought as pills & capsules, but is best obsorbed through cream.
Yeap i stunk all off a sudden normal deodorant did nothing. I do a benzolyl peroxide 5% wash on armpits once a week. Also rexona clinical x3 deodorant and no more smell. Also works for my teenage daughter. Win, win 😊
I seriously have all of these. It’s unreal how much my body has changed in the last two years. A big one for me is alcohol. I just can’t process it any longer. 2 glasses of wine and I feel like I drank 2 bottles. That just feels extra unfair LOL.
Right now that the season is changing and the air is absolutely dry and so is my skin! It’s so painful really everything is dry and slightly burning too it’s really uncomfortable
Adding a squirt of almond oil or mineral oil in a Warm not hot Nightly soak with epsom salts will help you sleep 😴 and keep your skin soft, smooth and supple. It's my FAV nightcap👌🏼
I use the Nivea in shower body lotion. It really helps with my dry skin. Especially if your too lazy to put lotion all over your body all the time. It's non sticky and just absorbs right into your skin They have the original with almond oil and a new one with cocoa butter.
I am 52 and I am not in menopause yet, but there is things about aging that happened that kind of gross me out. I know it's natural and it should not make me feel uncomfortable or grossed out but I can't help it. I've been brainwashed by media that it's gross. I don't know if I can even write this here but here they are: 1. going to the bathroom for nr 1 every 20 minutes! I mean, come on! I can barely get to the supermarrket! I work from home for now but I DREAD public transport. How am I going to even manage that? 2. Insomnia! Anxiety before sleep + intrusive thoughts + "I'm gonna die alone" + hormonal insomnia. 3. This one is kind of gross: hair down there becoming stringy and grey! It's gross! I know it's natural but it looks awful! I am only 52, for now it's kind of just mixed in grey but it makes me so self-conscious about that. I know my bigger problem is dryness but this does not help.
@@tulipsontheorgan Thanks, but I did blood and urine tests, and it was all negative. Doctor suggested that bladder nerve is just "hyperactive" which is hard to treat. I do agree about less sugar and carbs but that is so hard! I love sweets!
Coconut oil,for the skin works well,I take one medium garlic bulb, grate it a piece of tummeric,a piece of ginger,1 lemon squeezed to the hilt, black pepper and a pinch of olive oil and a small amountof water, mix well and drink,,This is good for the immune system.and menopause.....❤
How about low iron too. The last 2 years, 3 years I had to have 1 year, 2 transfusion, iron and blood transfusion, and about 18 months later same again. At the last one everything going well and suddenly it caused my right near the end before going home huge migraine, then stayed another hour to be sure everything ok before I left hospital
Thanks so much for this video! I found that Benefiber and Culturelle women’s wellness probiotic really helped my gut. The Culturelle also helped with bladder/urinary tract health.
The back of my head sweats all night and in the summer days. This is newish. I'm 49. But the gross part is that the sweaty smell stays no matter how I shampoo even with minty shampoo made especially for the scalp, it doesn't matter how perfumey, it doesn't go away. So annoying. 😢
Agreed! Witch hazel is amazing. The brand Dickinson's is really good. It's a tad pricier but worth it. The store brand ones tend to add rubbing alcohol in theirs
I just want to say thank you. This video really helped me realize what I’m going thru is normal. I’m 45 n Thks to u I learned I am in the beginning stages of menopause n not just falling apart. I never had BO my whole life barely had to use deodorant. I go to the gym everyday n all of a sudden one armpit started getting stinky n I couldn’t figure out why n felt really gross n embarrassed n I never get embarrassed so that’s weird for me but turns out it’s completely normal. THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL NORMAL❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤
I am 65 and I have just stumbled on your channel. I have been in menopause since my hysterectomy at 49. Recently my gyno dr recommended vaginal estrogen. I have chosen not to use it for many reasons. Is there ANYTHING else I can use for dryness and to increase my libido? Your channel is just what women need. Thank you!

I thought I was the only one who had dreams about their teeth falling out. It feels so real it's scary
Omg at 53??? Naturally? That’s amazing!!! You must look amazing!!!
Did your GP doctor prescribe testosterone cream or did you get referred to gyno ?
They usually start with localized estrogen cream, after a mammogram they start estrogen/progesterone HRT and then add testosterone if needed.
When will doctors recognize testosterone is essential for women too 🤓
You’re a liar no woman has a period at age 50 let alone 53 😅 bah is super dry

I pee constantly, especially at night and recently read this is a result of menopause. Also smells down south even after showering! Over this!
Make sure they look at your kidneys, my mom complained about this for 10 years and was told menopause or overactive bladder. It was an atrophied kidney & cysts 🤦♀️
Intermittent fasting and eating prebiotic foods like sauerkraut.
Please get check uti and kidney
Am familiar with that....🫣
Cut carbs especially at night. Eat more protein during day
Another amazing hack for body odour i found was using benzoyl peroxide 5% face wash and rub a pea size amount under each armpit and leave for 30 seconds each time you shower (after an initial wash) and no more body odour. It does not dry the skin, it just kills the bacteria in your armpits that causes odour, and allows your deodorant to work more effectively. Every one of my girlfriends are using this to brilliant effect. It's over the counter and fairly cheap and you only need the smallest amount each wash. ❤
Gr8 share 👌🏼
Applying the salt spray deo before bed keeps your pits scent free too
Yes, using Panoxyl face cleanser on your arm pits is a game changer! 😀
Peroxide is not known to be healthy, especially under arms.
If used sparingly it causes no adverse affects to the body. There are more dangerous chemicals in most of the foods people choose to eat. The air we breath, and in sunscreens.
Good old Listerine under armpits works wonders too.
I hope that happens with me!! 🙏❤️

Gr8 share 👌🏼 a meno Win for a change 😅😎
Me too. It’s liberating.
Same for me, I don’t need as much deodorant, only need 1 application a day to keep the odour at bay.
This will be amazing

One of the worst things for me, apart from constantly being hot when others are wearing scarves, beanies, huge coats - I am wearing a singlet!!! Is the ITCHING, in bed at night, I scratch constantly- mainly my hair, face, backs of knees, my neck, just about everywhere!!! Drives me mental!
Try aveno moisturizer is anti itchy
Try lume lotion...it worked for me as I was scratching to the point of bleeding. It did take a couple of weeks though & it's expensive, so wait for sales.
Exema perhaps.
Shea butter has saved me. That back of the knee itching is no joke
48 here.. no period for 288 days until 2 days ago. Ughhhhhhh! I honestly thought this was it. I've been going through hell for 8yrs!!!! Sex really hurt at 40. Partner of 11yrs walked out. No interest in sex anymore. Can't stand men anymore. Don't know myself.

Im so happy to hear it!
Hot flashes tip: working out makes them go away! At least it did for me. I got a membership, a trainer and it wasn’t long after I started that they stopped! I was like, “Yes!” So worth it! ❤
Please don’t. It may work for you but for sure not everyone. I was really fit when mine started…
I use to be for but peri had me with high BP .. in meds for that. I feel dizzy even walking fast now. Like I could pass out. So it doesn't work for everyone. I wish I could when out and get my body back! Maybe when I'm part this horrible moments
Use a fan and open the window ❤
This was a great video!! Menopause really SUCKS & it's nice to see someone talk about it honestly!!

Have you tried HRT ?
@@casperinsight3524 I heard that you can't have HRT if you had your last period more than ten years ago.
Great tip 🙌
Those of us with surgical menopause have a clear view of the situation. You're the first I've heard discuss odor. I used regular antipersperent and within a couple of months it just stopped working. I switched to hand sanitizer which worked for over 10 years and now I'm back to commercial stuff.
I JUST found out how well hand sanitizer after washing can help. It helped smooth the skin texture under my arms as well.
Hi Tracy, juste discovered you on UA-cam and I love your videos! Hi Traci. Everything you have said here has a ring of familarity! I have read the comments from the wonderful people who have also watched the video, and now I know that I am in good company. My sister and I have always talked about feminine issues, and I am happy to see the number of women who have shared their concerns and have offered suggestions. Hmm im starting to wonder if i have it early im 39..good thing i have a doc appt in december😮💨😓

Fermented food is good for your gut, but it also is high in histamine. Many women develop higher levels of histamine in their body. It's a natural part of your biosystem, but it may increase during peri and menopause. Fermented food on top might lead to histamine flares and allergic reactions. Check your diet for histamine-rich food (like old hearty cheese, red wine, ...) then.
I developed sinusitis 10 years ago, and now this comment has me wondering if that began as a piece of menopause!
My allergies got more severe while developping my first symptoms at the age of 45... Now they even cause me tinnitus, ringing in my ears😢
Try intermittent fasting. Also cut out seed oils, processed food and sugar, or keep them very minimal.

Yeah WTH are they? I always had clear, problem free skin but now I have those mysterious tiny bumps. Drives me crazy.
I had these also. Consistent use of exfoliating acids, glycolic acid specifically got rid of them.
I'm 55 and got like two of these bumps recently. It's so bizarre

Great information! I just wanted to share that I reversed my menopause symptoms, and it has truly changed my life for the better. Thank you for bringing awareness to this topic!
👏👏👏👏
How did you do this? I like the sound of that
Chin hair is on another level and as for weight gain its terrible😢
I get it!
Try intermittent fasting, cut way back on processed foods and sugar.
@mossyoakmom8880 cut out the bread and soda also , eat fruit with the lowest cal.salad is good too.
@@MrsEster-tb6ye Yes, I cut out a lot of bread and wheat in general and definitely no soda at all. Like I said, no sugar.
YES ITS hard getting older and my mom didn't prepare me lol !Glad I found you . Also have gastric bypass surgery in August and trying to get back down to a smaller size . Can't wait to watch your other videos ❤
I'm new and I really like your channel. You're like having a big sister, only you're younger than me. You answer all of my questions and you know all of the best and trusted products.
Awwww thank you!!!
Still . .
I absolutely love castor oil and beef tallow for my changing skin! They work so well! ❤
Tell me about the beef tallow! How do you use it? That’s new for me!
@@TracyCampoli it’s so good! Has all the things our skin needs in it! I use it for cooking and on my skin. The kind I get for my face and body is usually infused with some essential oils. I’m telling you it’s worth it! A little goes a long way! The brands I buy from are Amallow and It’s the Balm! So so good!
Great video! I have experienced all these symptoms. Thank goodness for HRT! I feel better SO much better in my 50s than I did in my 40s ❤❤❤
I love it too!!💕
You are absolutely right about the Europeans and how we eat! It's a rule in our house - we eat together at the table! Greetings from Bulgaria! 😊
You do LIFE better than us, it’s just facts🙌🙏
I agree, lived in Bulgaria for 10 years and loved it. Still slower life, very family and friends oriented in touch with traditions. Bulgarians know how to enjoy and celebrate life ❤
Same here in Portugal 🙌🩷🔝
"Yes my friends, we're talking about poop".... This is 💯... I'm 44 y/o puerto rican & always feel like the only one talking about this with fam and friends (still so much stigma on this topic in so many cultures), so thank you!!! 🌺 ... I will be forwarding this to ALL my favorite meno friends & fam now... lol
Hahaha! Glad I can help!
@@lynnemhall I’ve seen it on UA-cam but was sceptical on the idea. But I guess no harm to give it a try. Thank you for the information 👍🏻
Had all these symptoms in my mid 20’s. 20 years later and they are back.
Marijuana is a game changer for hot flashes. No awful hormonal side effects.
For body odors, persimmon soap (amazon) and/or Panoxyl body wash work great!! A good probiotics supplement for women can also do the trick.
It is gross
I’ve been post menopause for 9 years I wish there were videos like this (may have been and I didn’t know) when I was going through all of this looking back mine started in my late 30’s early 40’s I think I had every symptom and thought something was terribly wrong with me 😂 now I know I probably was not alone but felt that way 😱
Same with me. There were times I thought I was dying lol It started in my mid 30s.
I’m glad you’re here now! 🙌❤️
@@TracyCampoli me too 💜
UA-cam Sisters are the best 👌🏼😎😘
Tracy, thanks for introducing Pique! I couldn't find anything on their website, so I contacted them and found out their products are all vegan! I used your special offer to order. I can hardly wait to get them in the mail and start using them. Thank you! ❤
Yes!!! They are fabulous 💕🙌
Kimchi is fermented. I think you mean fermented vegetables. They are good for your gut
Great video!! Compounded oral progesterone and topical compounded testosterone cream has been a game changer for me. Testosterone- energy and Progesterone- no more night sweats and aids in sleep.
Anybody just woke up one day with scalp problems…. Super itchy… and dandrufff like i have never experienced! Any tips.
I have gotten that too! Tea tree shampoo helps A LOT!
Yes!!!!!
Wash hair with a good shampoo and then use a hair scrub with salicylic acid. I found out Dandruff occurs on oily hair so I changed my shampoo to oily hair type.
OMG sweeting is not the one word I'm 54 period stopped almost 2 years ago. I wake up soaked like change the sheets soaked. All day long soaked. Chin hair ,lip hair, gray eyebrows.. poop not to bad. Prune juice dates. Veggies and prebiotics . Lots of water all the day time. Thanks for all this . Oh black seed oil is great on my skin. Love from Ontario Canada
I guess I'm super lucky, I'm 49 and went through menopause around 42, I got EVERY SINGLE SYMPTOM , still have them. Yay me😢
I'm sorry 😔
you're NOT alone!!!~~
Hi Tracy!! I’m a new sub as of today! October 28th 2024!
I’m also 49!! Born in June of 1975!❤
Those darn chin hairs are SO ANNOYING!!
WTH!??!
My Dr says it’s normal and that we start to get hair in “different places!!” 😫😳🫣🥴
I pluck them but it hurts!
I also relate SO MUCH WITH THE HANDS 🙌🏻 yikes!!!😱
I’m Irish and very pale but you can see my veins and my skin is So old looking 😭
Also I’m so grey!
I used to be more of a pear shape and now I’m a pear shape with a “Fupa” Ew…😢
How do i get rid of that and lose weight?!!
Im overweight and hate it…
The only time I weighed between 127 and 160 (I’m 5’6) was when I ate terribly (not eating much at all to stay slim from age 17 to age 32 and the scale has been going up for 17 yrs little by little…
I DO take a prescribed medication that can cause weight gain unfortunately, but works excellent for my situation…
Thank you so Much for reading this is if you did Tracy! And thank you to anyone else on Tracy’s channel who read my long comment!!
❤Kim
Welcome Kim!!! 🎉💕🎉
I've spent a fortune trying different bedsheets because my skin has become super sensitive, and the sheet fibres prickle my skin. Linen, hemp, bamboo, different thread counts of cotton. Still hunting for the ideal bed linen.
Depression caused by progesterone is a real problem - I can't take it
Me too🫂
Me either.
Thank you for reminding me to slather on my castor oil. Buy it if you haven’t. Dark, glass organic bottle!!
Oh yes! Always dark glass!
Im so glad I happened to see this ☺️
The truth is cator oil can be extremely drying due to the type of lipids in it.
It can also contribute to the loss of fat under skin and give the opposite effect.
Castro oil very drie
I have zero body odor. I have no arm pit hair at all. Soft and hair free.no smell. I do have hot flashes at night. No sweating. Used to have shocking migraines..but they have gone.
My migraines stopped too when my period stopped.
Also I have no joint pain, my skin is so plump and glowy, my nails are hard as a rock, and it keeps my hair thick and shiny
Hmmm my dr suggests systemic care. I things it’s vital to talk to your dr as every BODY is different 🙌💕
i feel as if my urine smells stronger... weird.
Me too! I keep getting rated for uti but don’t have them but pee smells weird
If u drink more water your urine smell will disappear
Yeap i stunk all off a sudden normal deodorant did nothing. I do a benzolyl peroxide 5% wash on armpits once a week. Also rexona clinical x3 deodorant and no more smell. Also works for my teenage daughter. Win, win 😊
I seriously have all of these. It’s unreal how much my body has changed in the last two years. A big one for me is alcohol. I just can’t process it any longer. 2 glasses of wine and I feel like I drank 2 bottles. That just feels extra unfair LOL.
Right?!?!
This is really helped. I am at the beginning of menopause.
Right now that the season is changing and the air is absolutely dry and so is my skin! It’s so painful really everything is dry and slightly burning too it’s really uncomfortable
I hear ya! Maybe this video will help: ua-cam.com/video/2a36PQS8Ndw/v-deo.htmlsi=1Ki1j8BfzIMlHdzC the matcha cream (#1) is amazzzing
Try a sugar scrub in shower. Baby Oil Gel or Neutrogena sesame oil after shower while damp. Drink lots of water.
I feel so understood! Thank you for this video.
You're a Godsend! Thank you Tracy. ♥️
You are not alone!!! That’s why I’m here! 🙌❤️ we got this!
@@TracyCampoli 💗 thanks! I wish I had some answers. At least for overactive bladder. Still searching for solution.
You might have diabetes if you’re peeing all the time. Go for more walks, consume less carbs and sugar.
@@tulipsontheorgan Thanks, but I did blood and urine tests, and it was all negative. Doctor suggested that bladder nerve is just "hyperactive" which is hard to treat. I do agree about less sugar and carbs but that is so hard! I love sweets!
Definitely talk to your dr!
So good!!
12:42 😮 I thought something odd was happening but now know it’s a thing.
Wash rinse repeat 3 times and finally use an antiseptic like witch hazel for your final rinse. Learned this from a professional hair stylist
@@rnorth9286 thank you so much! I'll try that.
Agreed! Witch hazel is amazing. The brand Dickinson's is really good. It's a tad pricier but worth it. The store brand ones tend to add rubbing alcohol in theirs
Try a rosemary water rinse after shampoo and conditioner.
Im so glad this helped you 🙏💕
I am 65 and I have just stumbled on your channel. I have been in menopause since my hysterectomy at 49. Recently my gyno dr recommended vaginal estrogen. I have chosen not to use it for many reasons. Is there ANYTHING else I can use for dryness and to increase my libido? Your channel is just what women need. Thank you!
I’d talk to your dr or find a wholistic dr that can give you non hrt solutions. You might try coconut oil but always talk to Dr first
