Thank you- I’ve been looking for a sheer as possible mineral sunscreen as I have rosacea and chemical stings my face. I will try the Blis! And my fave matte mineral tinted sunscreen is the Cotz Face Primer- I love it- but not to reapply- I find matte ones I pill with a second application- so I just put mineral sunscreen powder over. Thank you!
I really need to try the Cotz ones, but just haven’t gotten around to it! And yeah, reapplying matte ones is not my fave.
Thank you for the review! These are the two I’m debating!! Do you feel like the matte screen is drying? I have dry skin and do use a moisturizer under sunscreen every day. I am leaning towards the matte due to higher spf and also I like the iron oxide addition for blue light protection.
Great question! I would say it depends on how dry your skin is and maybe the time of year. For me, when I had super dry skin I preferred not to wear it in the winter as I could get away with a much dewier sunscreen, but in the summer it was crucial. I really like the mattescreen and have used it on-and-off for years now. Hope that helps!
Skinceuticals makes a matte tinted sunscreen that's similar to the supergoop one. It has the same silicone base but the tint is a little more pigmented and I think a little bit darker.

The mineral sunscreen from Australian gold (botanical spf 50, tinted) is also very matte.

I'm a boy and I use the tinted uv clear! it honestly looks like i'm wearing makeup.. I actually love the glam look, even tho i'm a boy, it just gives me a pretty glow :). but i'm going to try the regular one so people don't think i'm wearing foundation lol
The Elta MD one? Yeah, there are no rules, and I think a tinted sunscreen looks good on everyone-boy or girl! Just do what makes you happy😘
@@DanaRipperton yeah i just want to wear makeup so using a tinted sunscreen is like wearing foundation and I know but sometimes it's hard being a boy that's into beauty and feminine care 💖

I'm glad I got the chemical version, unseen sunscreen instead of these two. Tired of mineral sunscreens leaving a film or not blending in well! Although I've had the Matt screen in the past and I did like it although it did feel heavy underneath makeup
Yeah, the mattescreen can definitely feel a bit heavy underneath makeup
The chemical ones have bad ingredients
So I have always used chemical sunscreens, never had a single issue- I tried a sample of the unseen sunscreen and I was SO stoked! It was like magic, made me look blurred and felt amazing and light, dried down to nothing... but then about 6 hours later and about 45 mins spent outside and my face felt hot and burned. I was literally about to buy it and so excited but ended up having the only reaction I've ever had in my life to an SPF :(
The one I like is Tizo AM Replenish lightly tinted SPF 40. It's got zinc in it plus cerimides. It's pricey though. Goes on light and feels pleasant. It costs a bit too much though. Check it out... They have some other in the Tizo line that are cheaper but don't have the ceremides I think. They make untinted as well.

Paula’s Choice Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense is another matte tinted mineral sunscreen. It’s actually kind of drying over time so I’m looking for an alternative, maybe the Supergoop Matte Screen is worth a try.
That’s a shame! I have that one too but don’t reach for it often. Out of all of the matte ones, it’s probably my favorite
Honestly I do really like the Paula’s Choice one as it sets down nicely and I’m fair enough it is a pretty decent match for my skin tone. I just have to be sure to alternate with something more hydrating every few days so it doesn’t leave my face feeling tight. I would love to have something I can use daily.

I wore the sheerscreen only days where I didn't mind having "ugly face" - you know what I mean? Sticky, a bit white (makes the white of your eyes and teeth yellow-looking) and blotchy-looking because of the cast :)
